The mono-ski for the paraplegia designed to skiing is formed as seat bucket on the sled. The impact force transferred by snow surface during skiing is absorbed by the leg joints of normal human, but it is transferred to the human body on the seat when using mono-ski. Most of commercially available mono-ski have absorbing device and link mechanism between seat and ski mount in order to complement it. In this study we developed the comfort evaluation model that could provide skiing simulation of mono-ski with hydraulic damper and analyzed vibrational acceleration occurred during skiing uneven surface. The evaluation method used in this study is the international standard BS6841. We evaluated comfort performance of mono-ski in accordance with nozzle adjustment of hydraulic damper.

Vehicle classification system in domestic tollgates is usually to use treadle sensor for calculating wheel width and tread of the vehicle. Due to the impact that occurs when the wheels of the vehicle contact, treadle sensor requires high durability. Recently, KHC(Korea Highway Corporation) began operating high-speed lane for cargo truck. High-speed cargo truck generate more impact the design criteria of previous treadle. Therefore, an increase in the maintenance and management costs of the treadle damage is concerned. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to classify vehicles using non-contact treadle sensors for improving durability from physical impacts. This was based on the KHC's classification criteria and showed a classification accuracy of 99.5 % in one experiment with 1892 vehicles through Changwon tollgate in 1020 local road. Therefore, it shows that vehicle classification system using non-contact treadle sensor could be applied to domestic toll tollgates, effectively.

In this study, field measurements were performed to analyze the effects of train types (AREX, AREX Express, KTX, KTX-Sancheon) and train speeds on the dynamic behavior of the direct fixation track structure on Yeongjong grand bridge by bridge type (truss bridge, suspension bridge). Based on field measurement results, the track impact factor and train running stability (coefficient of derailment, Rate of wheel load reduction, lateral displacement of rail head) are compared with domestic and foreign standards and regulations to influence the dynamic behavior of direct fixation track. As a result, the differences in the dynamic behavior of the direct fixation tracks by the type of bridges of Yeongjong bridge are not significant, but it was analyzed that these were more directly affected by the magnitude of the train load. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the reinforcement plan of the direct fixation track structure on Yeongjong grand bridge in consideration of the increase of the track impact factor and dynamic track force.

The highspeed railway bridge which support continuous and high moving mass evalute the dynamic state and make the displacement of the bridge makes more or less, but up to this time the bridges are designed by the static design concept. for example when we design bridge we use impact factor, which only times the static load makes dynamic load. But becouse it simples. it can't express all of the effects. And so, in this report we study the modeling method of the moving mass and the dynamic factor.
Impact factor of concrete and ballast track which has been used in Korea railway was applied to equation (1+0.513V/100) from AREA. As the use of this equation, overcapacity of track design might be occurred. Therefore, this study compared impact of ballast track (well, bad) and concrete track (sleeper embeded system, rail floating and sleeper floating) by field test to analyzing dynamic effect of track structure's characterstic and wheel load on service line. In addition, it suggested a method to generate reasonable impact factor on each track type.

This paper estimated the impact factor using the finite element program to confirm the dynamic behavior of new type of bridges constructed by introduction of new vehicles and compared the design criteria about the impact factor applied to domestic as well as each country. The study estimated effects of the impact factor according to pipe truss types modeled as respectively 34m, 44m, 54m and span length. The vehicle models are vehicle for bimodal tram of two axis and three axis which passes on actual bridge and dump truck model proposed by Park Young suk(1997). Each vehicle is estimated the impact factor according to velocity from 10 to 100(km/h) and examined. Also, the study investigated and compared the design regulation of domestic and a foreign country based on the impact factor on span center calculated in accordance with vehicle and span length.

This study developed a shockwave detection and prediction of their extinction point method based on continuous wavelet transform using trajectory data from probe vehicles equipped with automotive sensors.. To analyze the effectiveness of the proposed method, this paper proposed two measures which are a distance error between the extinction points of the predictor and an time-location error of the extinction points. The proposed concept was proved using the micro simulation based experiment with three exogenous variables of traffic volume, lane-close duration, market penetration of probe vehicles. The analysis results show that the proposed method is capable of detecting the traffic shockwaves as well as predicting their extinction point, and also that the accuracy of the proposed method is highly dependent on the rate of the probe vehicles.
