Mode-decoupling Controller for Feedback Model Updating (궤환 모델 개선법을 위한 모드 분리 제어기)

  • A novel concept of feedback loop design for modal test and model updating is proposed. This method uses the closed-loop natural frequency information for parameter modification to overcome the problems associated with the conventional method employing the modal sensitivity matrix. To obtain new modal information from closed-loop system, controllers should be effective in changing modal data while guaranteeing the stability of closed-loop system. But it is very hard to guarantee the stability of the closed-loop system with non-collocated sensor and actuator set. In this research, we proposed a controller called mode-decoupling controller that can change a target mode as much as the designer wants guaranteeing the stability of closed-loop system. This controller can be computed Just using measured open-loop modeshape matrix. A simulation based on time domain input/output data is performed to check the feasibility of proposed control method.

  • This paper presents a jitter characteristic improved phase locked loop (PLL) with an RC time constant circuit. In the RC time constant circuit, LPF's voltage is inputted to a comparator through small and large RC time constant circuits. The negative feedback loop reduces the variation of loop filter output voltage resulting in jitter characteristic improvement.

  • 본 연구에서는 Wiener 필터링 이론에 의하여 소음원의 입력신호에 대한 최적 한 예측을 할 수 있는 최적예측기(optimal predictor)로써 부가적인 음을 발생시키고 입력신호 및 출력신호 간의 차인 오차를 최소화시키도록 하는 적응신호처리방법에 대 해 설명하고 이러한 적응 신호처리 방법을 이용한 능동 소음 제어 방법을 제시하였다. 이와 아울러 제어계의 환경 변화에 따른 파라메타의 변화에 적응적으로 응답이 가능해 야 하는 적응 소음 제어계에서, 음향궤환과 함께 필히 고려해야하는 부가적인 전달함 수-모델과 스피커를 포함하는 보조경로 및 오차미이크로폰을 포함하는 오차경로의 전 달함수의 영향을 고려한 능동소음제어에 대해 연구하였다.

  • Globally stabilizing adaptive fuzzy state- and output-feedback controllers for the fully nonaffine pure-feedback nonlinear system are proposed in this paper. By reformulating the original pure-feedback system to a standard normal form with respect to newly defined state variables, the proposed controllers require no backstepping design procedures. Avoiding backstepping makes the controller structure and stability analysis to be considerably simplified. For the global stabilty of the clossed-loop system, the self-structuring fuzzy system whose memebership functions and fuzzy rules are automatically generated and tuned is adopted. The proposed controllers employ only one fuzzy logic system to approximate unknown nonlinear function, which highlights the simplicity of the proposed adaptive fuzzy controller. Moreover, the output-feedback controller of the considered system proposed in this paper have not been dealt with in any literature yet.

  • In this paper we consider technological requirements to broadcast digital television signals using single frequency networks (SFN) in the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) transmission systems and propose equalization digital on-channel repeater (EDOCR) that overcomes the limitations of conventional digital on-channel repeaters (DOCRs). Since there are no forward error correction (FEC) decoder and encoder, the EDOCR does not have an ambiguity problem. In addition, since an adaptive equalizer in the EDOCR removes multi-path signals, additive white Gaussian noise (A WGN), and feedback signal due to low antenna isolation, the EDOCR may have good output signal quality with high power.

  • 이 논문에서는 1차원 혼돈맵들 중의 하나인 톱니맵을 8비트의 유한정밀도로 이산화시켜 설계하였고, 이 이산화된 톱니맵을 사용한 혼돈 2진 순서 발생기의 회로도도 제시하였다. 설계된 혼돈맵의 실제 구현은 이산화된 진리표로부터 얻어진 출력변수의 간략화된 부울함수에 따른 입력선과 출력선들의 정확한 연결만에 의해 실현하였다. 최대길이를 발생시키는 선형궤환시프트레지스터(mLFSR)에 의해 발생되는 난수성 2진 출력 순서들을 이산화된 톱니맵의 입력순서로 사용함으로써 결과적으로 최소 8배 더 긴 주기를 갖는 혼돈 2진 순서들을 발생시켰다.

  • 증기터빈 발전소에서 터빈제어밸브는 운전중 적절히 개도를 조절하여 보일러에서 공급되는 유량을 조절하여 터빈속도 및 발전기의 전기적 출력을 제어할 수 있도록 해준다. 이러한 터빈제어밸브는 4개로 구성되어 있으며, 운전중 최적의 발전효율을 얻기 위해 저부하에서는 4개의 제어밸브가 동일하게 조절되다가 밸브 전환운전을 완료한 후 4개의 밸브가 주어진 특성에 따라 각기 조절되어야 할 필요성이 있다. 대상 발전소에서 시행하고 있는 운전절차중 하나인 밸브전환 운전은 발전기 출력의 변화가 수반되며 이를 최소화하기 위해 고압터빈측의 1단 압력을 궤환하여 보상하는 알고리듬을 사용하고 있다. 사용중에 발전기 출력변화가 발생되어 이를 개선하기 위해 적용되는 알고리듬을 보완하여 실제 발전소 현장에 적용한 결과를 소개하고자 한다.

Design of Variable Gain Low Noise Amplifier with Memory Effects Feedback for 5.2 GHz Band (5.2 GHz 대역에서 동작하는 기억 기능 특성을 갖는 궤환 회로를 이용한 변환 이득 저잡음 증폭기 설계)

  • This paper presents a novel gain control system composed of a feedback circuit, Two stage Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) using 0.18 um CMOS technology for 5.2 GHz. The feedback circuit consists of the seven function blocks: peak detector, comparator, ADC, IVE(Initial Voltage Elimination) circuit, switch, storage, and current controller. We focus on detecting signal and designing storage circuit that store the previous state. The power consumption of the feedback circuit in the system can be reduced without sacrificing the gain by inserting the storage circuit. The adaptive front-end system with the feedback circuit exhibits 11.39~22.74 dB gain, and has excellent noise performance at high gain mode. Variable gain LNA consumes 5.68~6.75 mW from a 1.8 V supply voltage.

  • In this paper, a novel nonlinear control method of the CVCF(constant voltage and constant frequency) output voltage for the three-phase PWM inverter with LC output filters is proposed. A nonlinear modeling including the output LC filters is linearized by feedback linearization theory, the controllers of which can be designed based on a linear control theory. It is applied to the DC/AC power conversion of the PWM inverter for stand-alone wind power generation system. It has been verified by the experimental results that the proposed control scheme gives high dynamic responses at load variation as well as a zero steady-state error.

  • This paper suggests a congestion control scheme for CL (ConnectionLess) overlay network using the feedback loops between CL user and CL server, between CL servers, and between end-to-end CL users, and the header translation table of CL server. The CL overlay network for CBDS(Connectionless Broadhand Data Service) defined by ITU-T((International Telecommunication Union-Telecommunication) consists of CL servers which route frames and links which connect between CL user and CL server or between CL servers. In the CL overlay network, two kinds of congestion, CL link congestion and CL server congestion, may occur. We considered the schemes to solve the congestion. link-by-link method[18] has used the ABR feedback loops of ATM layer between CL user and CL server or between CL servers, and the congestion table using header translation table of CL server. As in congestion of output virtual channel this method has an effect on all the traffic transmitting through the link, then it has an effect on the traffic that has not caused the congestion. As a result, the link utilization of output virtual channel that does not bring the congestion and outputs the traffic is decreased. To overcome this drawback of link-by-link, we proposed the hybrid method that are using the ABR feedback loops of link-by-link method, the feedback loop between CL users in end-to-end, the congestion table using and the header translation table. This scheme deals with teh congestion immediately by link-by-link loops and the header translation table, and then regulates the sending rate of CL user that causes the congestion by end-to-end loop.
