  • 본 논문에서는 텍스처 합성할 때 방향을 고려하여 합성의 품질의 개선시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 고정된 회전 각도가 아닌, 다양한 각도를 자동으로 샘플링하여 효율적으로 예제 이미지를 생성할 수 있도록 하였고, 이를 통해 합성 경계간의 차이를 자연스럽게 완화시킬 수 있는 결과를 실험을 통해 보여준다.

  • 2020년 AIS 자료와 해양용도구역 정보를 종합해 월별/해역별 주요 선박 통항로를 분석하고 우리나라 연안의 주요 선박 통항로 영역을 유효·비유효 구역으로 구분하여 향후 빅데이터 기반의 통합 항로 예측에 적용하는데 활용하고자 한다. 이 결과를 선박 해양사고정보, 해양에너지, 수산 등의 해양공간계획(MSP) 정보를 추가·분석할 예정이다. 나아가 국가어항을 중심으로 항만별 분석, 화물선·여객선·어선 중심의 선종별 분석 정보로 확대하여 빅데이터 기반의 항로 예측 기술의 입력자료로 활용할 예정이다.

  • 국내에 설치된 여러 종류의 항로표지를 체계적으로 관리하기 위한 '항로표지 전산관리 시스템'이 존재한다. 하지만 현행 전산관리시스템은 IALA S-201(항로표지 기본정보), S-124(항로표지 변경정보), S-125(항로표지 긴급정보)데이터 표준을 기반으로 한 항로표지 정보 서비스 대응에 한계점이 있다. 또한, 미래의 스마트 항로표지 정보, 장비에 대한 추가 센서 정보, 새로운 해양자원 서비스에 대한 정보관리의 확장성을 위하여 새로운 '스마트 항로표지 정보관리 시스템'을 개발하고 있다.

Estimation of Hydrodynamic Derivatives and Dynamic Stability for Submarine Using Captive Model Test (구속모형시험을 이용한 잠수함의 동유체력 계수 추정 및 동안정성 평가)

  • In these days, the world has been increasing the development of various underwater vehicles such as ROVs (Remotely operated underwater vehicles) and AUVs (Autonomous underwater vehicles). And the importance of submarine's maneuverability is especially being emphasized. Therefore, accurate values of the derivatives in equations of motion are required to control motion of the submarines. The aims of the present study are to experimentally derive Hydrodynamic derivatives derived by the vertical planar motion mechanism (VPMM) model test, and to estimate vertical dynamic stability was estimated by using the linear hydrodynamic derivatives, the hydrodynamic derivatives of the submarine, which have a high propriety, were provided by using the fourier analysis of measured forces and moments. Furthermore it is confirmed that the experimental derivatives shows well agreement with the theoretical estimations, and the dynamic stability of the submarine was estimated as a good state, which implies that the value is greater than zero.

Study on the Midwater Trawl Available in the Korean Waters - III (한국근해에 있어서의 중층트로올의 연구 - III)

  • The authors carried out an experiment to determine the vertical opening of the midwater trawl, which is the same used in the former experiment in this series of studies. To determine the vertical opening of otter board and front weight, three fish finders were used. A 200 KHz fish finder set on board the research vessel was used to sound the depth of water. A transmitter of 50 KHz fish finder was set through the shoe plate of otter board to determine the height of otter board from the sea bed, and a transmitter of another 50 KHz fish finder was set downwardly on the net pendant right before the front weight to determine the height of weight from the sea bed. The depth of otter board and weight were calculated by subtract the height of those from the depth of water, respectively. To determine the vertical opening of mouth, a transmitter of net recorder was set on the head rope and the vertical opening of that to ground rope was directly read on the recording paper. The results obtained can be summarized as follows: 1. The rate of the depth of otter board to the length of warp was in the range of 0.44 to 0.25, and the depth was linearly shoaled about 5m per 0.1m/sec of the towing speed or per 20rpm of the main engine. The rate of the observed depth to the calculated depth of otter board was in the range of 0.92 to 0.080 with a decreasing tendancy in accordance with the increase of towing speed. 2. The depth of head rope was 2 to 3m deeper than that of otter board, and the vertical opening of net mouth was in the range of 22 to 19m, with a decreasing tendancy in accordance with the increase of towing speed, 3. The difference of depth between front weight and otter board was about 20m and 22m respectively in the length of warp 100m and 150m without distinct change in accordance with the towing speed. The depth of front weight was 2 to 3m shallower than that of ground rope. 4. The changing range of depth of head rope according to the revolution of main engine was about 4m per 20rpm.

A Study on the Residual Current in the Cheju Strait (제주해협의 해수유동특성에 관한 연구)

  • The general flow patterns in the Cheju Strait have been investicated by analyzing the current observations measured in $1986\~1989$ by current meter mooring in 3 north-south sections in the Cheju Strait and at 4 observation points around Cheju Harbour, and measured in $1981\~1987$ by drogue tracking. 1. In the Cheju Strait, there are eastward or northeastward residual currents, which implies that sea waters flow into through the whole western section and flow out through the whole eastern section in the Cheju Strait. The velocity of residual currents are $5.2\~30\;cm/sec$ in 10 m layer and $1.3\~24cm/sec$ in mid-bottom layer. Generally, the flow is strong along the deepest through and the northern part, and weak in the shallow areas near Chuja Islands and Bogil Island. 2. In the western entrance of the Cheju Strait, the observed mean residual velocity is 6.93 cm/sec and the volume transport is 0.384 Sv. There are a big discrepancy between the observed residual currents and the geostrophic currents. 3. Near the frontal areas northwest to Chuja Islands, warm and saline offshore waters, flow northward about 5 miles into the southern coastal areas of the Korean Peninsula in flood, and flow back rather eastward or southeastward than southward in ebb. So, warm and saline waters flow along coastal areas, being mixed with coastal waters. As a result, the northwestern area of Chuja Islands plays a role of the entrance of influx of warm and saline offshore water to the southwestern coastal areas of the Korean Peninsula. It should be stressed that this flow pattern is not due to the residual flows, but to the temporal (tidal) flows.

A Rating Method for the Estimation of the Additional Overhead Expenses incurred by Schedule Extension in Public Construction Projects (공공건설공사의 공기연장에 따른 추가간접비 산출을 위한 요율방식 제안)

  • In domestic public construction, disputes are increasing due to differences among stakeholders regarding contract price adjustment. In particular, the actual cost-plus fee for overhead costs due to the schedule extension cannot be agreed upon at the administrative phase, and most of them seek judicial judgment. Thus, this study aims to propose a 'sufficiently satisfactory' alternative to reach an agreement before disputes in order to minimize disputes related to the calculation of additional overhead costs. To this end, this study proposes three alternatives based on the rate method. Firstly, when calculating additional overhead costs, it is not calculated as an actual cost-plus-fee method, but as a rate compared to direct labor costs among net direct costs. Secondly, the calculated indirect labor costs are compensated for up to the legal maximum of legal limit costs such as general management costs, profits and so on. Thirdly, it reflects overhead costs increased or decreased due to change orders. Risks were analyzed by collecting expert opinions on the proposed methods and applying actual cases. Finally, as a result of investigating the level of consensus for each stakeholder, it was confirmed that all stakeholders could agree regardless of the size of the company. The result of this study is expected to as a useful tool among stakeholders in the construction fields that can be able to easily agreed upon.

  • Special Act on Regulatory Freedom Zone and Regional Special Development Zonet" introduced a new type of 'Freedom Special Zone of Regulation' that is legally distinguished from the existing Special Districts for Regional and Regional Development to support the innovative and strategic growth of the areas, and even passed a number of legal grounds for providing innovative regulations for regional development projects or regional strategic industries within the Special Districts. Starting with the bill legislation proposed by The Parliament Members, Kim Kyung-soo on behalf of 33 suggestors, Choo Kyung-ho, Jung Sung-ho and Hong Il-pyo submitted the bill legislation on behalf of 10 to 12 proposers, respectively. As a major matter of issue, the purpose, designation, scope of application, promotion system, application of A Bill of Three kind on Regulatory Innovation, and Balanced National Development, many kind of regulation as like types of menu, special cases, punitive regulations, and so on have been argued until the end of the bill proposed from the beginning. In this study, the differences between the bill suggested by the Parliament members and bill approved already are to be compared and analyzed to confirm how the items on issue were reflected for the bill finally and to draw up measures for the correct operation of the special regulations.

  • 이 연구는 『추악한 미국인』을 포함한 '추악한 시리즈'가 '한국'에서 번역되는 맥락과 의미를 분석하고자 했다. 이를 통해 『The Ugly American』이 동아시아 각국에 번역되고 전유되어 '추악한 시리즈'를 창출하고 그것이 한국에 번역되는 맥락을 파악할 수 있다. 『The Ugly American』(1958)은 윌리암 J. 레더러(Lederer, William J), 유진 버딕크(Burdick, Eugene) 공저의 풍자소설이다. 이 소설은 1959년 한국에 『추악한 미국인』으로 번역되면서 알려지기 시작하는데 베트남전쟁에서 미국인의 실수와 추태를 다룬 작품이다. 이 작품이 중요한 것은 월남전의 미국의 과오를 비판한 수준을 넘어 글쓰기의 아이디어와 방식이 미친 영향력이다. 제목이 함의하듯 이러한 책의 발상은 특정 국가와 그 민족구성원의 문제점을 지적하는 글쓰기 형식이기 때문에 민족(성) 비판과 맥이 닿아 있다. 『The Ugly American』의 수용과 전유는 한국뿐만 아니라 중국, 일본, 대만 등 동아시아 각국의 역사적 관계와 문명의 격차에서 기인하는 자기인식과 상대국에 대한 평가를 파악할 수 있게 한다. 소속 공동체에 대한 자긍심과 (민족)주체의 내적 발전 및 동태적 역동성의 발견 및 재인식 작업으로서의 민족문화론은 개인과 국가의 자기지식과 아이덴티티의 필수불가결한 구축 과정이며 진보와 지체를 둘러싼 일종의 자기반응이다. 이처럼 자신과 세계인식의 재갱신은 서구제국주의의 관점과 적자생존론, 민족주의를 경유해온 우리의 인식론적 성찰의 현실과 긴밀하게 관련된다는 점에서 '추악한' 시리즈는 그 실상과 강박을 접근할 수 있는 중요한 참조점이 될 것이다.

Aerodynamic noise reduction of fan motor unit of cordless vacuum cleaner by optimal designing of splitter blades for impeller (임펠라 스플리터 날개 최적 설계를 통한 무선진공청소기 팬 모터 단품의 공력 소음 저감)

  • In this study, noise radiated from a high-speed fan-motor unit for a cordless vacuum cleaner is reduced by designing splitter blades on the existing impeller. First of all, in order to investigate the flow field through a fan-motor unit, especially impeller, the unsteady incompressible Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations are numerically solved by using computational fluid dynamic technique. With predicted flow field results as input, the Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings (FW-H) integral equation is solved to predict aerodynamic noise radiated from the impeller. The validity of the numerical methods is confirmed by comparing the predicted sound pressure spectrum with the measured one. Further analysis of the predicted flow field shows that the strong vortex is formed between the impeller blades. As the vortex induces the loss of the flow field and acts as an aerodynamic noise source, supplementary splitter blades are designed to the existing impeller to suppress the identified vortex. The length and position of splitter are selected as design factors and the effect of each design factor on aerodynamic noise is numerically analyzed by using the Taguchi method. From this results, the optimum location and length of splitter for minimum radiated noise is determined. The finally selected design shows lower noise than the existing one.
