Highway Incident Detection and Classification Algorithms using Multi-Channel CCTV (다채널 CCTV를 이용한 고속도로 돌발상황 검지 및 분류 알고리즘)

  • The advanced traffic management system of intelligent transport systems automates the related traffic tasks such as vehicle speed, traffic volume and traffic incidents through the improved infrastructures like high definition cameras, high-performance radar sensors. For the safety of road users, especially, the automated incident detection and secondary accident prevention system is required. Normally, CCTV based image object detection and radar based object detection is used in this system. In this paper, we proposed the algorithm for real time highway incident detection system using multi surveillance cameras to mosaic video and track accurately the moving object that taken from different angles by background modeling. We confirmed through experiments that the video detection can supplement the short-range shaded area and the long-range detection limit of radar. In addition, the video detection has better classification features in daytime detection excluding the bad weather condition.

  • Spread of smartphone creates various contents. Among many contents, AR application using Location Based Service(LBS) is needed widely. In this paper, we propose error correction algorithm for location-based Augmented Reality(AR) system using computer vision technology in android environment. This method that detects the early features with SURF(Speeded Up Robust Features) algorithm to minimize the mismatch and to reduce the operations, and tracks the detected, and applies it in mobile environment. We use the GPS data to retrieve the location information, and use the gyro sensor and G-sensor to get the pose estimation and direction information. However, the cumulative errors of location information cause the mismatch that and an object is not fixed, and we can not accept it the complete AR technology. Because AR needs many operations, implementation in mobile environment has many difficulties. The proposed approach minimizes the performance degradation in mobile environments, and are relatively simple to implement, and a variety of existing systems can be useful in a mobile environment.

  • In industrial fields, RTP(rapid thermal processing) system is widely used for improving the oxidation and the annealing in semiconductor manufacturing process. The main control factors are temperature control of wafer and uniformity in the wafer. In this paper, we propose an $H^{\infty}$ controller design of RTP system satisfying robust stability and performance using weighted mixed sensitivity miniimization and loop shaping technique. And we need reduction technique because of the difficulty of implementation with the obtained high order controller for original model and reduced models, namely, Hankel, square-root balanced, and Schur balanced methods. An example is proposed to show the validity of the proposed method.

  • A data collection of a liquid radioactive waste treatment process of a research organization became necessary while developing the RAWMIS(Radioactive Waste Management Integration System) which it can generate personal history management for efficient management of a waste, documents, all kinds of statistics. This paper introduces an input and output application program design to do to database with data in the results and a stream process of a treatment that analyzed the waste occurrence present situation and data by treatment process. Data on the actual treatment process that is not limited experiment improve by a document, human traces, saving of material resources and improve with efficiency of tracking about a radioactive waste and a process and give help to radioactive waste material valance and inventory study.

  • Recently, ubiquitous computing and related technologies is more and more growing concern about. Depending on the trend, the moving object recognition and tracking research have been required in order to meet the diverse needs of the user. In the location-based services, one of the most important issues in the indoor environment is to provide location-aware services. In this paper, the effective algorithm to help estimate the position of moving objects in an indoor environment is proposed. We propose an algorithm that combined the existing trilateration measurement and the improved measurement of environmental adaptation scene analysis. The proposed indoor location estimation algorithm use the trilateration measurement when we have enough anchor in the line-of-sight environment. Otherwise that use measurement of environmental adaptation scene analysis. Consequently, the proposed algorithm has been improved the localization accuracy of a moving object as well as was able to reduce complexity of the algorithm.

A Study on Fast Matching of Binary Feature Descriptors through Sequential Analysis of Partial Hamming Distances (부분 해밍 거리의 순차적 분석을 통한 이진 특징 기술자의 고속 정합에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, researches for methods of generating binary feature descriptors have been actively done. Since matching of binary feature descriptors uses Hamming distance which is based on bit operations, it is much more efficient than that of previous general feature descriptors which uses Euclidean distance based on real number operations. However, since increase in the number of features linearly drops matching speed, in applications such as object tracking where real-time applicability is a must, there has been an increasing demand for methods of further improving the matching speed of binary feature descriptors. In this regard, this paper proposes a method that improves the matching speed greatly while maintaining the matching accuracy by splitting high dimensional binary feature descriptors to several low dimensional ones and sequentially analyzing their partial Hamming distances. To evaluate the efficiency of the proposed method, experiments of comparison with previous matching methods are conducted. In addition, this paper discusses schemes of generating binary feature descriptors for maximizing the performance of the proposed method. Based on the analysis on the performance of several generation schemes, we try to find out the most effective scheme.

  • It has been grown interests of the convergence technologies about communication systems and vehicular industry. Vehicular communications enable a number of infotainment applications to serve cars under high mobility environments. To achieve this goal, a robust and accurate channel estimation scheme is of great importance. This paper proposes an enhanced Decision-Directed channel estimation scheme called PTAU(Pilot Tone Aided Update) for IEEE 802.11p in vehicular communication environment. Existing approaches which use subsequent data symbols to estimate channel response in time domain will lead to the error propagation. In this paper, we use the pilot subcarriers to get initial channel response, then utilize the correlation characteristics to update channel response in frequency domain. Finally, Analysis and simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme outperforms in bit error rate(BER), significantly improve the performance of the estimation.

  • 물류관리는 기술의 발전과 깊은 관련을 맺고 있다. 정보처리 전산화 및 자동화된 물류설비의 발전은 개별기업의 물류활동을 더욱 원할 하게 수행할 수 있도록 해 주고 있다. 특히 한창 피어나고 있는 전자상거래는 기존의 상품구매과 정과는 달리 원거리에서 인터넷을 통하여 주문이 되기 때문에 기업은 전자상거래 환경에 맞는 대 고객서비스 방향 설정과 물류활동을 새로운 차원에서 관리해야 할 것이다 최근 CALS와 더불어 최종 고객의 요구를 충족시키기 위하여 공급자에서 부터 최종 고객에게 이르기까지의 공급체계(Supply Chain)내의 각 기업간에 긴밀한 협조를 통해 공급체계 전체 물류의 최적화를 위한 공금체계관리(Supply Chain Management)에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 하지만 여전히 사용자의 요구에 부응하는 서비스가 제대로 이루어지지 않는 상황에서 지속적인 성장을 위해서는 전자상거래 쇼핑몰은 택배 회사와 연계하여 GPS등의 기술을 이용한 화물운송정보체계(CVO : Commercialvehicleoperationsystem)를 활용하여 공동배달정보망을 추축해서, 배달추적이 가능하고 신속 정확한 수배송계획을 효율적으로 처리하도록 해야 할 것이다. 이러한 토다 나은 서비스를 위해 본 논문에서는 GPS, GIS를 연계한 물류 모니터링 시스템의 프로토타입에 대하여 설명한다 개발한 프로토타입은 GIS와 GPS를 바탕으로 이동체와 무선 데이터 통신을 이용하여 이동체의 위치를 센터에서 관리학 수 있도록 한 시스템이다. 또한 자바를 기반으로 개발되어 고객이 웹을 통해 자신의 물건의 위치를 파악 할 수 있는 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 전자상거래가 활성화됨에 따라 고객은 원거리에서 인터넷으로 주문처리하고, 신속 안전한 배달을 기대한다. 더불어 고객은 현재 자신의 물건이 배달되는 경로를 알고싶어 한다. 웹을 통해 물건을 주문한 고객이 자신이 물건의 배달 상황을 웹에서 모니터링 한다면 기업은 고객으로 공간적인 제약으로 인한 불신을 불식시키는 신뢰감을 주게 된다. 이러한 고객서비스 향상과 물류비용 절감은 사이버 쇼핑몰이 전국 어디서나 우리의 안방에서 자연스럽게 점할 수 있는 상황을 만들 것이다.

  • 최근 수자원의 효율적인 배분을 위한 수자원관리의 중요성에 대한 인식과 하천의 환경적 기능에 대한 사회적 요구 증대로 수자원 기초조사에 의해 수집되어진 자료의 활용빈도가 다양한 분야에서 증가하고, 높은 신뢰도와 정확도를 요구하고 있다. 개발된 수위-유량 관계식의 신뢰도 검증은 일반적으로 지점별 수위-유량 관계식과 수위자료에 의해 산정된 유하량을 유역의 면적평균 강우량을 이용하여 산정한 유출률과 비교 분석하는 수문학적 방법에 의해 이루어지고 있는 실정이다. 최근에는 공간적인 비균질성을 고려하여 유출과정에서 운동역학적인 이론을 기반으로 물의 흐름을 수리학적으로 추적해 나가는 물리적 기반의 분포형 유출모형의 활용도가 높아지고 있음에 따라 본 연구에서는 낙동강수계 임하댐유역을 대상으로 물리적 기반의 분포형 모형인 $Vflo^{TM}$을 적용하여 유출량을 산정하고, K-water에서 수자원 환경기초조사 성과로 개발된 임하댐 상류 영양 수위관측소의 수위-유량 관계 곡선식을 이용하여 산정된 유출량과 비교함으로써 수자원기초조사 성과의 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 분포형 유출모형 적용에 필요한 매개변수 추출을 위해 GIS 기법을 이용하여 DEM, 토지피복도, 토양도에서 $Vflo^{TM}$의 입력인자인 경사도, 흐름방향, 조도계수, 수리전도도, 유효공극률, 토양심도를 추출 산정하였으며, 임하댐 유역의 8개 우량관측소 시우량자료를 이용하여 강우의 공간적인 통계 특성을 잘 반영하는 크리깅(Kriging) 기법에 의한 분포형 강우를 생성하였다. 또한, 본 모형을 통해 검증된 초기함수조건 등의 유역의 특성을 이용한 단기유량예측을 통하여 홍수량 예측 및 수문조사 효율성 향상에 매우 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

Clock Synchronization for Multi-Static Radar Under Non-Line-of-Sight System Using Robust Least M-Estimation (로버스트한 최소 M-추정기법을 이용한 비가시선 상의 멀티스태틱 레이더 클락 동기 기술 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose the algorithm which considers applying recently proposed clock synchronization techniques with quite high accuracy in a few wireless sensor networks researches to time synchronization algorithm for multi-static radar system and especially overcomes the limitation of previous theory, cannot be applied between nodes in non-line of sight (NLOS). Proposed scheme estimates clock skew and clock offset using recursive robust least M-estimator with information of time stamp observations. And we improve the performance of algorithm by tracking and suppressing the time delays difference caused by NLOS system. Futhermore, this paper derive the mean square error (MSE) to present the performance of the proposed estimator and comparative analysis with previous methods.
