A Study on the Correlation between Coal Mining Subsidence and Underground Goaf (페탄광지역의 지반침하발생과 지하 채굴적의 상관관계 연구)

  • This study is to examine a relation between coal mining subsidence occurrence at abandoned underground coal mines and underground goaf with respect to surface geology, subsurface structure, depth and thickness of coal beds and the distribution of drifts. A study is carried out at the site where susceptibility of coal mining subsidence was proven high in a previous study. In that previous study, the susceptibility of coal mining subsidence was spatially analyzed by GIS using digitized geological maps, investigation reports, digitized mining tunnel maps without consideration of subsurface structure and the multi-level arrangement of drifts. Here we analyze geological characteristics around the goaf and the distribution of coal seam based upon digitized geological maps and investigation reports on the study area. And digitized mining tunnel maps are also used to analyze the depth and multi-level arrangement of drifts. The results show that weakened surface rock strength, relatively shallow depth and large thickness of coal seam below the surface are closely related to the coal mining subsidence occurrence. Complicatedly inter-connected drifts, shallow depth of drifts and surface rock fractures are revealed as additional control factors affecting coal mining subsidence. These factors examined in this study as well as original factors should be taken into account for the quantitative estimation of coal mining subsidence occurrence at abandoned underground coal mine.

  • In recently, the safety system software of the nuclear power plant has been verified and validated according to ANSI/IEEE-ANS-7-4.3.2-1982 to improve the reliability. This standard requires that safety-related software should be tested in the static and dynamic environments. In case of Inadequate Core Cooling Monitoring System (ICCMS), the static test procedure and related techniques are developed but the dynamic test procedure and related techniques are not developed. Therefore, this paper discusses the undeveloped techniques, and suggests the dynamic test procedure and the program for generation of test input data. The performance of the program was identified using accident analysis report of Ulchin 3&4 Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR).

  • 도시화에 따른 불투수층의 증가와 이상기후로 인한 침수피해가 증가하고 있어 이를 위한 대책으로 유역별로 홍수피해를 최소화할 수 있는 계획이 필요하며, 홍수량에 따른 저류량을 할당하여 관리할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 경안천 유역을 대상으로 빈도별, 지속기간별로 강우-유출분석을 실시하였으며 소유역 별로 홍수저감을 위한 저류량을 산정하였다. 경안천 유역을 중심으로 강우-유출 분석을 실시하고 빈도별 유출량을 산정하였다. 하천설계기준에서는 유수지나 저류지 설치와 같은 내수배제 계획시 설계빈도를 20년 이상으로 제시하고 있고, 우수유출 저감시설 타당성 조사 및 기본계획 보고서에서는 목표 저감빈도를 5년 이하로 설정하고 있다. 따라서 경안천 유역에서의 재현기간 100년, 50년, 20년, 5년 빈도별, 강우지속기간 별로 첨두홍수 발생 수문곡선을 작성하였으며, 목표저감빈도 5년 빈도에 대한 소유역별, 최종유출지점에 대해 저류량을 분석하였다. 그 결과 목표저감빈도인 5년을 기준으로 했을 때 재현빈도가 커질수록 저류량이 방대해지므로 경제성을 고려하여 목표저감빈도를 20년으로 설정하는 것을 검토해 볼 필요가 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Understand the Current Status of Teaching and Learning Informatization and Develop Indicators in the 4th Industrial Revolution (4차산업혁명 시대를 대비한 대학의 교수학습 정보화 현황 파악 및 지표 개발)

  • The purpose of this study has developed a teaching and learning informatization indicator that provides the basis for utilizing or disseminating the beneficial teaching and learning informatization environment promoted by each university. The research method analyzes various informatization indicators developed by KERIS from 2002 to 2015 and recent environment such as Edutech, future education report, teaching and learning field report, and reflects them in indicator development. The development of the third indicator was completed by dividing it into Input, Process, Output stages by reflecting expert opinions in the first and second indicators. As a result, the core words of the university's teaching-learning informatization infrastructure building, sharing of educational resources, open development and sharing, joint purchase of resources, information safety system and literacy education, current status grasping, and resource utilization were derived. In the future, I will fill out the questionnaire to supplement the question through a pilot test and to grasp the current status of teaching and learning informatization in the entire university.

  • The development of AI technology has brought about a big change in our lives. As AI's influence grows from life to society to the economy, the importance of education on AI and data is also growing. In particular, the OECD Education Research Report and various domestic information and curriculum studies address data literacy and present it as an essential competency. Looking at domestic and international studies, one can see that the definition of data literacy differs in its specific content and scope from researchers to researchers. Thus, the definition of major research related to data literacy was analyzed from various angles and derived from various angles. In key studies, Word2vec natural language processing methods, along with word frequency analysis used to define data literacy, are used to analyze semantic similarities and nominate them based on content elements of curriculum research to derive the definition of 'understanding and using data to process information'. Based on the definition of data literacy derived from this study, we hope that the contents will be revised and supplemented, and more research will be conducted to provide a good foundation for educational research that develops students' future capabilities.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to prevent construction safety accidents, and the design safety systems were reviewed. This paper aims to establish as an effective system by looking at the implementation procedures and contents of the design safety review system. Method: We reviewed the purpose and content of the law, accident statistics, etc. for the study. In addition, we looked at the implementation plans for actual construction sites using the 'design safety' assessment process as defined by the Act. Results: We divided it into the data review phase, the risk factor elicitation and alternative setup phase, and the design safety assessment report preparation stage. Conclusion: it is necessary to derive risk factors that take into account the diversity of construction sites. However, the effectiveness of other reports is questioned as they are often copied and written. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen external verification procedures attended by construction safety experts.

A Study on Basic Strategy and Policy Direction for Incheon Port's Cruise Industry Development (인천항 크루즈산업 발전을 위한 기본 전략과 정책방향에 관한 연구)

  • The cruise industry is a future-oriented convergence industry based on tourism and shipping, and has attracted great attention not only in the global market but also in Korea. The rapid growth of Asian cruise population, especially in China, has had a considerable impact on both the global market as well as the Korean market. With the recent THAAD problem, the need for diversification of the market has been raised as the entry of cruise tourists from China has been greatly reduced. It is also time for a more systematic and comprehensive development strategy ahead of the opening of the new cruise terminal. This study draws out the problems based on the interviews with experts such as prefectures, travel agencies, and related organizations, as well as analyzing literature on domestic and overseas government plans, policy reports, and research data. Then, the SWOT analysis is used to develop the development strategy and explore the policy support direction. The research scope can be extended to sustainable development model through wider linkage of mid to long term strategy and policy.

Estimation of the Probable Wave Height considering Storm Surge in the Ocean near the Nuclear Power Plants (원자력발전소 인근 바다에서 폭풍해일을 고려한 가능 최대 파고 높이 추정)

  • 최근에 기후변화로 인한 한반도에 내습하는 태풍에 빈도는 점차 증가하고 있다. 2020년도 8월 26일 태풍 '바비', 9월 2일 태풍 '마이삭', 9월 7일 태풍 '하이선'은 일주일 내의 간격으로 한반도를 내습하였다. 한반도에 내습한 태풍 중에서 마이삭과 하이선은 동쪽 해역을 지나가면서 강풍과 많은 강우를 초래하였다. 그 결과 특정 원전은 자동 가동중지가 발생되는 사태를 야기 시켰다. 본 연구에서는 원자력 발전소 인근 해역에서 폭풍해일에 의한 가능최대파고 높이를 추정함으로써 발전소 안전성에 대한 검토에 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 첫 번째로 '2019 전국 심해 설계파 산출 보고서'를 바탕으로 원전 인근 해역 심해 설계파 지점에 대해 파고, 주기, 해상풍과 같은 변수들을 분석하였다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 100년부터 1000만년까지의 변수들을 예측하였다. 두 번째로 해도자료를 바탕으로 GIS를 통한 지형자료를 구축하였다. 구축된 지형자료를 바탕으로 SWAN 모델의 기초자료를 구성하였다. 세 번째로 추정된 변수들과 구축된 지형자료를 바탕으로 100년부터 1000만년까지의 시나리오별 SWAN 시뮬레이션을 통해서 원전 인근 해역에 대한 가능 최대 파고 높이를 분석하였다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 특정 원전인근 해역에서의 평균적인 파고 높이에 대한 재해도 곡선을 추정하고 제시하였다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 향후 확률론적인 분석 방법을 적용하여 불확실성을 고려한 재해도 곡선 추정 과정의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다. 또한 EurOtop을 적용하여 파고 높이에 따른 원전부지의 Overtopping을 추정하고, 최종적으로 폭풍해일에 의한 원전부지의 2차원 침수해석의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 이를 통해 홍수 방지 및 예방과 관련한 홍수저감 활동과 관련된 통제실 외부 시설물에 대한 수동 조작에 대한 안전성 평가가 이루어질 수 있겠다.

Pre-service Elementary Teachers' Exploration of Children's Science Ideas (초등 예비교사의 아동의 과학 개념 조사)

  • In this study, pre-service elementary teachers (n=68) participated in an inquiry of exploring children's science ideas as group work. After conducting interviews with children, the pre-service teachers analyzed their science ideas on specific concept and propose a teaching plan based on their findings. This paper aimed to find the positive learning experiences of the pre-service teachers by looking into their inquiry process. Questionnaire, researcher's journal, classroom videos and final reports were collected and analyzed for this multiple case study. Four representative groups were chosen and interviewed after submitting their final reports for in-depth understanding of their inquiry process. The positive learning experiences found in the process of their inquiry into children's science ideas were as follows: (1) exploring children's ideas have brought the opportunity for enhancing pre-service teachers' science content knowledge. (2) the pre-service teachers developed their ability in creating questions that probe into children's understanding. (3) the pre-service teachers recognized that children have various incomplete and unstable science ideas. (4) the pre-service teachers could suggest teaching strategy based on their findings.

VSOP-2 운용을 위한 37-38GHz 대역 관련 ITU-R WP7B 회의 결과

  • 세계전파통신회의 (WRC; World Radiocommunication Conference)회의는 국제전기통신연합 (ITU)에서 발행하는 국제 전파법과 관련된 전파규약을 갱신하거나 새로운 법 제정을 위해, 3-4년 간격으로 개최되는 전파통신 관련 회의라고 할 수 있다. WRC-12회의는 2012년 1월 23일 -2월 17일에 걸쳐 스위스 제네바에서 개최되며, 동회의의 원활한 진행을 위하여, 25개의 WRC 의제들에 대한 ITU 산하의 연구반 (ITU-R Study Group) 연구결과들을 기술보고서로 확정하기 위한 회의(CPM-11, Conference Preparatory Meeting)가 2011년 2월 14일-25일에 걸쳐 스위스 제네바에서 역시 개최된다. 이에 한국천문연구원에서는 KVN과 일본국립천문대(ASTRO-G)간의 원활한 국제 공동 VLBI연구를 위해, WRC회의에서 최종적인 규정개정을 함에 있어서 필요한 CPM기술문서작성과 관련된 ITU-R 연구반 회의에서 주도적인 역할을 수행하고 있다. 따라서 본 발표에서는 2010년 6월 10-18일에 걸쳐 스위스 제네바에서 진행되었던 ITU-R WP7B, 7D 회의에서, 우리나라가 전파천문업무와 관련된 기술문서 개정사항에 대하여 제출하였던 제안결과 및 회의 주요 결과를 소개하고, 전파천문업무 보호 및 22 GHz 대역 달탐사, 38 GHz 대역 Space-VLBI운용대역과 관련된 WRC-12 의제 1.6, 1.11, 1.12 등에 대한 향후 대응방안을 알아보고자 한다.
