Multiobjective Routing and Scheduling for Vehicles Transporting Hazardous Materials (위험물 운송차량의 다목적 경로 및 스케줄 관리 방안)

  • Vehicles transporting hazardous materials can make huge damage to people, properties and environment by traffic accidents. Therefore, transporting hazardous materials is a big issue with the cutting edge technology of communications in these days. However, despite this situation, Korean government gives limited efforts for systematic management, research and investment about hazardous materials. Accordingly, this research suggests the key path finding algorithm about management of real-time schedule and routes for vehicles transporting hazardous materials. Besides, the case study is progressed in transportation networks of Seoul in order to evaluate the reality of algorithm. Specifically, time-space network transformation is performed for time window attributes. In addition, this study proposes the techniques searching for non-dominated paths considering schedule by the multiobjective shortest path algorithm based on dynamic programming in dynamic transportation networks including multiobjective attributes.

  • Mass transit information can contribute many benefits to users. Especially, transportation information technology is developing highly with information technology in Korea recently. Hereafter, it is expected to give customized transportation information to users individually with the advent of ubiquitous age in earnest. This public transportation information service can be realized by path finding algorithm in public transportation networks including travel and transfer attributes. In this research, constraints are constructed with the primary facts influencing users. Moreover, the method reducing user's path finding condition arbitrarily is proposed by making the maximum value as variables. In this study, transfer frequency, total travel time, seat confirmation, transfer time and travel time become constraint condition based on k path finding algorithm considering service time constraint condition. Moreover, case study about user customized transfer information is performed in Seoul and metropolitan subway networks.

  • The object of this paper is to develop the shortest path algorithm. The existing shortest path algorithm models are developed while considering travel time and travel distance. A few problems occur in these shortest path algorithm models, which have paid no regard to cognition of users, such as when user who doesn't have complete information about the trip meets a strange road or when the route searched from the shortest path algorithm model is not commonly used by users in real network. This paper develops a shortest path algorithm model to provide ideal route that many people actually prefer. In order to provide the ideal shortest path with the consideration of travel time, travel distance and road cognition, travel time is predicted by using Kalman filtering and travel distance is predicted by using GIS attributions. The road cognition is considered by using space data of GIS. Optimal routes provided from this paper are shortest distance path, shortest time path, shortest path considering distance and cognition and shortest path considering time and cognition.

  • Proposal algorithm in this thesis introduced cells, units of router group, for distributed processing of previous genetic algorithm. This thesis presented ways to reduce search delay time of overall network through cell-based genetic algorithm. As a result of performance analysis comparing with existing genetic algorithm through experiments, the proposal algorithm was found superior in terms of costs and delay time. Furthermore, time for routing an alternative path was reduced in proposal algorithm, in case that a network was damaged in existing optimal path algorithm, Dijkstra algorithm, and the proposal algorithm was designed to route an alternative path faster than Dijkstra algorithm, as it has a 2nd shortest path in cells of the damaged network. The study showed that the proposal algorithm can support routing of alternative path, if Dijkstra algorithm is damaged in a network.

  • 최적경로문제는 한 지점에서 다른 지점으로 이동할 때, 최소한의 비용으로 이동할 수 있는 경로를 찾는 문제를 의미하며, 최근 인터넷을 이용한 경로 안내 시스템에 적용되어 왔다. 이때, 보통 시간비용을 최소로 하는 경로를 제공하는 것이 일반적이다. 그러나 현실적으로 우리는 타인에게 어떠한 경로를 설명하거나 알려 줄 때, 인지도나 접근성이 높은 경로를 포함하는 경우가 많다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교통경로를 산출할 때 접근성이 높은 경로를 포함하여 경로를 구성하는 방안을 제시하였다 이를 구현하기 위해 건축, 도시공간에서 접근성 분석에 사용되고 있는 Space Syntax라는 방법론을 적용하였다. GIS 데이터 구조를 이용하기 위해 알고리즘을 일부 수정하였으며, 일반적으로 최단거리 산출에 많이 사용되고 있는 Dijkstra 알고리즘과 결합하여 구축하였다. 이렇게 구축된 알고리즘을 소규모의 교통 네트웍상에 적용하여 테스트하였다.

  • DSPF/IS-IS extension과 같은 기존 constraint-based 라우팅 알고리즘은 링크 상태(Link State) 정보에 constraints를 포함해야 하기 때문에 네트워크의 대역폭을 많이 낭비하게 되고, 모든 경로 탐색 정보를 모아서 초기에 적합한 최적 경로를 유지하고 있으므로 서로 다른 노드에서 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스가 요구될 때 서비스별 QoS를 만족시키기 힘들어진다. 본 논문은 다양한 005가 요구되는 네트워크 트래픽 상황에 맞는 QoS 기반의 새로운 라우팅 알고리즘(QRDGSPA)을 제안하여 복잡한 계산 과정없이 유용 자원을 측정하는(measured) 방식으로 QoS5가 고려된 경로들 중 단일 또는 여러 개의 최적 경로를 선택할 수 있도록 하고, CR-LDP를 이용한 LSP Feedback을 적용하여 네트워크의 자원 상황을 미리 파악함으로써 MPLS 네트워크의 이용율을 극대화하고 효율적인 네트워크 운용이 가능하도록 한다.

  • DualCore 혹은 MultiCore 플랫폼의 보급에 따라 높은 시간복잡도를 갖는 응용들도 사용자의 컴퓨터나 단말에서 수행되어 다양한 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 관광 스케줄을 효율적으로 결정하기 위한 다중목적지 방문 문제에 대해 이중 쓰레드에 기반한 서치 스페이스 탐색 알고리즘을 구현한다. 이는 Traveling Salesman Problem의 한 종류로서 O(n!) 시간 복잡도를 갖고 있으며 검색시의 독립성때문에 각 쓰레드는 병렬적으로 최적의 스케줄을 탐색할 수 있다. 또 현재까지 발견된 최적값을 기반으로 부분 경로의 비용이 이미 최적값을 넘는 경우는 하위 탐색을 제거하여 상당한 성능의 향상을 가져온다. 2.4 GHz Intel(R) Core DuoCPU와 3 GB 메모리로 구성된 플랫폼 상에서 구현된 서비스는 11개의 목적지에 대한 방문 스케줄을 생성함에 있어서 단일 쓰레드 버전은 14.196초, 이중 쓰레드 버전은 6.411초, 제약조건을 포함한 이중 쓰레드 버전은 0.14초에 최적의 스케줄을 찾아낼 수 있다.

Finding the K Least Fare Routes In the Distance-Based Fare Policy (거리비례제 요금정책에 따른 K요금경로탐색)

  • The transit fare resulted from the renovation of public transit system in Seoul is basically determined based on the distance-based fare policy (DFP). In DFP, the total fare a passenger has to pay for is calculated by the basic-transfer-premium fare decision rule. The fixed amount of the basic fare is first imposed when a passenger get on a mode and it lasts within the basic travel distance. The transfer fare is additionally imposed when a passenger switches from one mode to another and the fare of the latter mode is higher than the former. The premium fare is also another and the fare of the latter begins to exceed the basic travel distance and increases at the proportion of the premium fare distance. The purpose of this study is to propose an algorithm for finding K number of paths, paths that are sequentially sorted based on total amount of transit fare, under DFP of the idstance-based fare policy. For this purpose, the link mode expansion technique is proposed in order to save notations associated with the travel modes. Thus the existing K shortest path algorithms adaptable for uni-modal network analysis are applicable to the analysis for inter-modal transportation networks. An optimality condition for finding the K shortest fare routes is derived and a corresponding algorithms is developed. The case studies demonstrate that the proposed algorithm may play an important role to provide diverse public transit information considering fare, travel distance, travel time, and number of transfer.

A Vehicle Routing Problem Which Considers Hard Time Window By Using Hybrid Genetic Algorithm (하이브리드 유전자알고리즘을 이용한 엄격한 시간제약 차량경로문제)

  • The main purpose of this study is to find out the best solution of the vehicle routing problem with hard time window by using both genetic algorithm and heuristic. A mathematical programming model was also suggested in the study. The suggested mathematical programming model gives an optimal solution by using ILOG-CPLEX. This study also suggests a hybrid genetic algorithm which considers the improvement of generation for an initial solution by savings heuristic and two heuristic processes. Two heuristic processes consists of 2-opt and Or-opt. Hybrid genetic algorithm is also compared with existing problems suggested by Solomon. We found better solutions rather than the existing genetic algorithm.

  • How to represent the search space is as important as which search algorithm to use for finding natural-looking paths for moving NPC (non-player character) in computer games. Recently, various state space representation methods which have been developed for computer games are being used while A* algorithm dominates as the preferred search algorithm. These representation methods show some drawbacks such as the size of state space is too large, there is no guarantee for optimality, the path found is not natural-looking, and the generation of nodes and links is not automatic by depending on a level designer. In this paper the requirements for natural-looking paths are introduced and to find paths satisfying these requirements, the use of the generalized visibility graphs which is the extended version of the visibility graph in Robotics is proposed.
