We investigate design-based variance estimation methods of homogeneous linear estimator for population total under stratified multi-stage sampling. One method is unbiasedly estimating the first stage variance and the second stage variance separately in each stratum. And another is sub-sampling method that estimating the first stage variance only by using sub-sample selected from the second stage sample so that resulting estimator is unbiased for the total variance. The first is useful when the second stage unbiased estimator is available and the second is when the second stage variance is not estimable. For each case, we proposed a form of non-negative unbiased variance estimator. We expect the proposed variance estimation methods can be effectively used for many practical surveys.

This study was conducted to establish standard fresh weight data about the minimum amount of occurred weeds at untreated paddy fields, upland fields and orchard fields (including non-cultivated land) in 10 areas. The amount of occurred weeds in each area was compared fresh weight with dry weight. The average percentage for ratio of dry weight to fresh weight in paddy fields was concluded to be 14.8% of Echinochola crus-galli, 12.5% of annual weeds (including Echinochola crus-galli), and 13.9% of perennial weeds. The average percentage for ratio of dry weight to fresh weight in upland fields was concluded to be 20.1% of annual weeds and in orchard fields was concluded to be 18.4% of annual and perennial weeds. According to the research, standard fresh weight about the minimum amount of occurred weeds at untreated paddy fields was proposed to $210g\;m^{-2}$ of Echinochola crus-galli, $400g\;m^{-2}$ of annual weeds (including Echinochola crus-galli), and $220g\;m^{-2}$ of perennial weeds. Standard fresh weight about the minimum amount of occurred weeds at untreated upland fields was proposed to $250g\;m^{-2}$ of annual weeds and at untreated orchard fields was proposed to $550g\;m^{-2}$ of annual and perennial weeds.
In business survey, cut-off sampling is usual, The contribution from cut-off part of the population is at least small in comparison with the remaining population. In this case, part of the target population is excluded from the selection and parameter estimations are only based on Take-all and Take-some stratum. It may be tempting not to use resources on enterprises that contribute little to the overall results of the survey. And this reduces the response burden for these small enterprises. But, the size of cut-off stratum has been increased as a way to manage reduced budgets. This leads to additional bias. In this study, the population have been separated as three stratum, cut -off, take-some, take-all, and we will estimate cut-off part using auxiliary variable.
This Study was conducted to provide fundamental data necessary for the improvement of milk quality. Milk quality was evaluated by 3 methods; milk fat percent measurement, methylene blue reduction test (MBRT), and somatic cell count measurement. At the same time, condition of hygienic management of dairy facilities and cows was investigated in each of 234 dairy farms located in Gyunggi area from May, 1986 to April, 1987. The results were as follows 1. Average milk fat percents among farms were 3.67%, 3.64%, 3.43%, 3.48% in January, April, July and October, respectively. The diUerences of milk fat percent from month to month were statistically significant (p<0.005). and the seasonal average was 3.56%. 2. Numbers of farms which produced bulk milk of first grade by MBRT were 153(65.4%), 157(67.1%), 76(32.5%) and 141(60.2%) in January, April, July and October, respectively. The diUerences among months were statistically significant (p<0.005). Also, significant diUerences of grade by milking quantity (p<0.05), presence of milk cooler (p<0.01), and collection means (p<0.05) were demonstrated. 3. Number8 of farms which produced bulk milk of fir8t grade in somatic cell count measurement were 227(97.0%), 226(96.6%), 218(93.2%) and 223(95.3%) in January, April, July and October, respectively. And diUerences of grade by the pratice of teat dipping, dry cow therapy and manner in which udder washing towel was used statisticaJJy 8ignificant (p<0.01).
Linear estimator, a weighted sum of the sample observation, is commonly adopted to estimate the finite population parameters such as population totals in survey sampling. The weight for a sampled unit is often constructed by multiplying the base weight, which is the inverse of the first-order inclusion probability, by an adjustment term that takes into account of the auxiliary information obtained throughout the population. The linear estimator using the weight adjustment is often more efficient than the one using only the bare weight, but its valiance estimation is more complicated. We discuss variance estimation for a general class of weight-adjusted estimator. By identifying that the weight-adjusted estimator can be viewed as a function of estimated nuisance parameters, where the nuisance parameters were used to incorporate the auxiliary information, we derive a linearization of the weight-adjusted estimator using a Taylor expansion. The method proposed here is quite general and can be applied to wide class of the weight-adjusted estimators. Some examples and results from a simulation study are presented.

Several types of gamma-ray sensors were constructed by packing different numbers of fibers into aluminum tubes, and tested to detect the $^137Cs$ gamma ray. It has been found from this investigation that tapered fibers can be more efficient to collect the lights produced inside the sensor and transfer them into the transmitting fiber in order to predict the functioning of the tapered fiber, tapered plastic scintillators, composed of polystyrene with minute amount of dPOPOP and PPO or dPBD, were fabricated and tested for the detection of gamma rays from 1.0 1.5 3.0 5.0 ${\mu}Ci$$^137Cs$ sources, and the pulse hight spectrum and the relationship between the radioactivity and the total counts are analyzed. It has been found from this study that the tapered scintillating optical fiber, if manufactured, can be practically applied to the development of gamma-ray sensors which can be deployed In ${\mu}Ci$-level radiation fields

Outliers in surveys can have a large effect on estimates of totals. This is especially true in business surveys where the populations are drawn are typically skewed. In this paper, we discussed the practical development and implementation of methods to identify and deal with outliers. A detection method is based on quartile method and detected outlier is processed in various ways. The study examines two versions of winsorised estimators with three different cut-off thresholds for each one. For the simulation study, four types of weight transformation function have been considered.
This experiment was conducted to investigate the flora of Kyungpook National University Forests, which is located in Walme-Ri, Hyundong-Myon, Chungsong-Kun and at $128^{\circ}$ 59' $55^{\prime\prime}-129^{\circ}$ 01' 30"E longitude and $36^{\circ}$ 10' $30^{\prime\prime}-36^{\circ}$ 13' 00"N latitude. Woody plants are composed of 39 families, 67 genera, 112 species, 7 varieties and 3 formae. The total number of woody plants listed are 122, tall trees of woody plants 50, shrubs 46 and winders 16, respectively. The kinds of edible plants listed are 118 such as Lithospermum erythrohizon, Codonopsis lanceolata and Aster scaber etc. Medical plants are listed as 48 kinds such as Schizandra chinensis, and A canthopanax sessiliflorus etc. Con Codonopsis Schizandra. It is the first time to report that the populations of Ulmusmacrocarpa, Acanthopanax sessiliflorus, Schizandra chinensis, and Lithospermum erythrorhizon are existed in this area.
Recently, the importance for internet of things (IoT) security has increased enormously and hardware-based compact chips are needed in IoT communication industries. In this paper, we propose low-complexity crypto-processor that unifies advanced encryption standard (AES), academy, research, institute, agency (ARIA), and CLEFIA protocols into one combined design. In the proposed crypto-processor, encryption and decryption processes are shared, and 128-bit round key generation process is combined. Moreover, the shared design has been minimized to be adapted in generic IoT devices and systems including lightweight IoT devices. The proposed crypto-processor was implemented in Verilog hardware description language (HDL) and synthesized to gate level circuit in 65nm CMOS process, which results in 11,080 gate counts. This demonstrates roughly 42% better than the aggregates of three algorithm implementations in the aspect of gate counts.

This paper analysis of spatial differences in the efficiency of regional industrial enterprises in China from 2011 to 2021. The efficiency analysis uses the DEA-CCR model. The input variables for efficiency analysis are total assets and annual average employees, and the output variables are revenue from principal business and total profits. Using trend surface analysis and gravity center model, to analysis the spatial differences of efficiency in different regions. From the results of the gravity center model, the coordinates of the gravity center of China's regional industrial enterprise efficiency in 2011 are 112.303°E & 34.239°N, and 2021 are 111.753°E & 33.791°N, which indicates that the gravity center of the efficiency of China's regional industrial enterprises in the 2011-2021 period generally moves to the southwest. From the results of the trend surface analysis, the efficiency of industrial enterprises in China's regional industrial enterprises appears to show spatial differences in both the eastwest and the northsouth directions.
