This paper reviews how electronic media technologies involve and produce time-space dimensions in geometrical spaces, focusing on four theoretical perspectives: van Dijk's dual structure of networks as scale extension and reduction; Latour's actor-networks as fluid and hybrid networks; Virilio's dromospherical time as global media vectors; and Castells' timeless time as non-sequential flows. In these four theoretical perspectives, we can see that electronic media technologies involve different and multiple time-space dimensions in geometrical media spaces: from the two-dimensional spaces (surfaces) of concentric circles, through the one-dimensional spaces (lines) of actor-networks to the zero-dimensional spaces (points) of dromospherical time and finally to the multi-dimensional spaces (hypertexts) of timeless time. The paper concludes by suggesting that we need to explain electronic media spaces not only in terms of geometrical media spaces but also in terms of geographical media spaces in order to understand the ways in which electronic media spaces are dis/embedded in geographical spaces.

ICTs(Information and Communication Technologies) have changed the ways of social activities and communications, and in the process, online and offline spaces have been thought of as binary spaces in which online spaces substitute and erode offline spaces. The aim of this study is to explore how urban space where local social activities and communications are performed is constructed in terms of timespace through the intersection of online and offline communications and how the urban space is 'remediated' through online spaces. For this, the study looks at the case of a workshop on 'locality education' held at the Yeungnam University Museum in January 2013. Criticizing the dichotomist viewpoint that increasing in communications through online spaces results in the expansion of 'absent presence' or 'placelessness' in offline spaces, the study argues that online spaces remediating offline spaces are spaces not transcending the timespace constraints of the offline spaces but rather reflecting the spatial, temporal, material, social, cultural environments of urban space and place.

본 논문에서는 모션 그래픽을 이용한 컴퓨터애니메이션으로 실감 있는 영상 콘텐츠를 제공한다. 본 연구에서는 합성기법을 적용하여 원본 소스 영상과 목표 영상을 합성하여 새로운 영상을 생성하는 합성 기법을 적용하고 합성한 영상을 애니메이션 기법을 적용하여 동영상으로 콘텐츠를 제작한다. 이렇게 합성 기법과 애니메이션 기법을 적용한 영상을 고전적 표현 기법을 적용하여 마치 고대 유물이나 조각상이나 동상 같은 무형의 조형물에 생명력을 적용해 마치 벽화 속에 있던 사물이 살아서 움직이는 신기한 광경을 연출한다. 이러한 연출은 다양한 효과를 적용하여 연출한다. 또한 현재의 사물에도 같은 방법으로 합성 기법과 애니메이션 기법, 그리고 다양한 효과를 적용하여 현대적인 표현으로 다양한 상황에서 다양한 효과를 적용하여 현대적인 사물 표현이 가능하다. 따라서 이러한 합성기법과 애니메이션 기법과 효과들로 시대를 초월하는 시공간 연출이 가능하여 다양한 광고, 홍보 등에서 효과적이다.

This research aims to examine the behavior changes of telemedicine participants with regard to time-space reconfiguration and to address the implications of telemedicine in terms of extensibility and restrictions (ambilaterality). According to the results of this research, telemedicine can lead to behavior changes in telemedicine participants, particularly patients. However, it is difficult to anticipate the time-space reconfiguration of telemedicine participants drastically. In other words, although telemedicine minimizes patients' burden of accessibility to and utilization of medical institutions, it requires the patients to visit medical institutions at least once due to the restricted application of telemedicine related to technological problems, the characteristics of medical practice and mutual stakes among the medical institutions involved in telemedicine. And physicians (telemedicine providers as mediators between medical specialists and patients) and medical specialists (as the ultimate telemedicine providers) do not evidence considerable changes in their behaviors, except for offline meetings for information sharing and medical training. Because the present telemedicine system does not require simultaneity between physicians, patients and medical specialists. Furthermore, present telemedicine operation is absorbed into existing medical activities as a health care delivery method. These phenomena are due to 1) the interests among medical institutions and the limitation or generalization of telemedicine technologies to stimulate regional-based telemedicine operation and 2) the goal of face-to-face interactions between patients and doctors, which is to avoid misdiagnosis and side effects. Finally, medical activities related to telemedicine do not differ from general medical activities. The ambilaterality of telemedicine in terms of extensibility and the restriction of time-space reconfiguration is an unsettled problem in the ICT technologies of medical services.

According to "Jinjak-yigwe(進爵儀軌)", a special banquet was held at Yungyungdang(演慶堂, a kind of royal theatre) to celebrate the 40th birthday of Queen Soonwon(純元王后) in 1828. This banquet is famous for the presentation of nineteen new Jungjae(呈才) repertoires that the Crown Prince Hyomyung(孝明) created. In order to explore the theoretical basis for the reproduction and presentation of Yungyungdang(演慶堂) Jinjak(進爵, a type of royal banquets), in this article, the imagination and experience of the presentation of Yungyungdang Jinjak are pursued, while focussing on audience's reception. In Yungyungdang Jinjak, King Soonjo(純祖), Queen Soonwon and the prince were the special audience; they participated in the procedure of Ye(禮, etiquette of ceremony) and also were considered as the characters of certain repertoire of Jungjae. Hyomyung arranged the spectacles from the myths of Taoist gods and immortal hermits, as well as historic episodes of the past emperors' elegant tastes of music. These mythic and historic images lead the audience toward the imagination and experience on the transcendental world. Hyomyung, managing the administration as the representative of King Soonjo, tried to show absolute royal authority through the splendid performances of Yungyungdang Jinjak, so as to overcome the politicaly difficult situation. He set up the sacred world for his father King Soonjo, distinct from the secular ordinary world, and emphasized his position as the bridge between the two sides. He expressed his filial duty through the devotion of performing arts to display absolute royal authority.

As there have been many cases where successful regional festivals acts as the promotion of regional brand images and as the driving force of regional economic development, changes in awareness that significantly accepts external promotion effects and the commercial value of regional festivals are greatly expanding. When seen from this perspective, the regional festival, which has Tojeong Lee Ji-Ham, a scholar in the Joseon Dynasty period in the 16th century and Geolincheong as subject matter, is expected to contribute greatly to the establishment of Chungnam Asan region's identity and to the vitalization of the regional economy. He is one of the all-time eccentrics and at the same time he is an intellectual who practiced innovative spirit of the times and a sense of economy for the relief and self-support of common people and the balanced development of the nation during his life. In this sense, the regional festival that is based on Lee Ji-Ham's Geolincheong has meaning and values as a cultural content from and device, which realizes and continues the spirit of the times and the thoughts that he pursued, in the modern context in time and space.

This essay seeks to answer the question of how best to understand Korean new religious movements (KNRMs). KNRMs have the characteristics of folk religion, ethno-religion, or popular religion. KNRMs are products of the national consciousness promoted by Korean society during the Late Joseon Dynasty at the turning point of modern Yi-Jing Studies. From the perspective of social evolutionary theory of developmental history, during that period, Joseon (Korea), like China, was faced with a double-edged sword consisting of the strength of tradition and the upheaval of modernity. If the strength of tradition depended on the Yi-Jing Studies to promote national enlightenment toward anti-imperialist aims, then it was equally the case that modernity depended on the sense of urgency to guide the people to secure livelihoods and edification regarding anti-feudalism. In this essay, the KNRMs that appeared during this transition period of Yi-Jing Studies will be a significant focus, and the worldview of Daesoon Thought will be the main focus. As one of the central topics, intensive discussion will be dedicated to the issue of the nature of pre-experientialism (先驗主義) which characterized the Great Opening (開闢). The principles of Daesoon Thought have a religious dimension of realistic awareness that guides the people's lives and edifies them. The process of the Great Opening aims to secure an ontological clock that tracks the Great Itineration of the world toward Daesoon Truth. This in turn as a process establishes the epistemological world of the Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth (天地公事) and reaches the axiological boundary of the future world. The links among the Three Realms is characterized by a pre-experientialist line that experiences the space-time nature of the universe as the Great Opening of the Later World (後天) within the framework of Heaven and Earth. Throughout this course, humans look to enjoy the infinite vitality of the universe from within their own finite vitality. Therefore, Daesoon Thought can overcome perceived reality through pre-experientialist channels such as the Great Opening of the Later World and aim for a state of self-awareness such as the Earthly Paradise. This is an attempt to participate and practice in the actual world rather than pursuing a world of transcendental ideas, and therefore, it tends to be proactive in the world rather than exhibit a passive tendency to be worldliness. In conclusion, the truth of Daesoon Thought, which is characterized by the Great Opening of the Later World, contains a future-oriented outlook that longs for a Nextopia full of hope and promise rather than idealistic fancy towards a Utopia or well-founded dread and disdain towards Dystopia.
