A Study on the Classification of Rural Tourism Resources through a Card Sorting Test -Focused on Rural Amenity Resources Database- (카드분류법을 통한 농촌관광자원 유형 분류 -농촌어메니티자원 DB를 중심으로-)

  • As the interest in rural tourism has been increasing since the late 1990s, the research associated with rural tourism has increased, including research on the classification of rural tourism resources. The research classifying these resources has proved useful to many other studies. Although such studies have been conducted for a long time, they have expressed only experts' perspectives and been supported by statistics, without reflecting on users' opinions. Given this background, this study aims to classify rural tourism resources by focusing on the rural activities for tourists who use those tourism resources. To achieve this, each study participant proceeded to collect tourism resources by using a rural amenity resources database, and a card sorting test was conducted. Thirty-two people who had previously gone sightseeing in the rural areas were chosen as participants in the card sorting test. After the card sorting test was complete, the results were reviewed by experts. These results yielded six categories: doing nature activities, eating and cooking local dishes, putting up (overnight stays), going sightseeing/appreciating the landscape, enjoying leisure activities, and doing artistic activities. In the doing nature activities category, there were four subcategories: experiencing local resources, experiencing nature, experiencing tradition, and harvesting. This study was conducted to improve the satisfaction and understanding of the tourists who visit rural areas. Thus, the classification of rural tourism resources developed by this study will be widely used to establish the framework or contents of websites, applications, and so on, for promoting rural tourism resources and local resources.

Development of Modules in Earth Science for the Enhancement of Scientific Inquiry Skills (중학생의 탐구 능력 향상을 위한 지구과학 모듈의 개발)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop teaching modules related to Earth Science courses in order to enhance scientific inquiry skills of middle school students. A 'process skill-centered' module was developed to induce scientific process skills, while students explore specific scientific context. A module consists of several activities, and each activity focuses on a specific science process skill. Modules were designed such that the skills would improve depending on the completion of the module. To evaluate the effectiveness, field workshops for middle school science teachers were done twice. Science teachers, who were participants of the workshop, commented that the activities in each module were suited to enhance students' interest in science. They noted that scientific inquiry skills would be developed from each activity. Students responded that the activities in the modules were interesting, and it was a good experience to do them by themselves. Students were the focal point in class, not teachers. This enabled teachers to evaluated each student's achievement level, and provide a proper feedback. Hence, applying these modules in classes should enhance the students' scientific inquiry skills.

Analyses of Perceptions to Hindering Factors and Development Factors for Water Leisure Activation (수상레저 활성화의 제약요인 및 발전방안에 대한 인식도 조사)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze perceptions to hindering factors and development factors for water leisure activation. In order to accomplish the study purpose, this study employed a survey method with water leisure participants and employees from 6 regions(participants=205, employees=117). The data were analyzed using independent t-tests at a=.05 and following findings were derived from current study. First, among 20 hindering factors, water leisure participants had higher levels of perceptions than employees in licence system, limited activation regulation, departure report regulation, absence of exclusive organization, lack of providing information, lack of participative events and support systems. Second, relatively highly perceived hindering factors included departure report regulation, limited activation regulation, licence system, lack of government support, lack of mooring facility and lack of exclusive charged organization, in order. Third, the important development factors perceived by participants included support for licence and education and diversified water leisure programs but those perceived by employees included placement of educated experts and related event host and publicity. Finally, relatively highly perceived development factors included activation of free experience, promotion of marina development, support for licence and education, diversified programs and support for water leisure business. Accordingly, the findings provided fundamental information that both central and regional government can utilize for further activating water leisure. In addition, several development strategies were discussed on financial support, facility support, human resource support, education support and event support perspectives.

Group Music Therapy Involving Creation of a Musical Play to Improve Self-Esteem, Self-Expression, and Social Skills in Children (음악극 창작활동이 지역아동센터 아동의 자아존중감, 자기표현력, 사회성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of group music therapy involving the creation of a musical play on the self-esteem, self-expression, and social skills of children. The participants were 14 first through third graders and 14 fourth through sixth graders from a children's center. Half of the children from each grade band (Grades 1-3 and 4-6) were assigned to the experimental group and the other half to the control group, for a total of 14 children in each group. The experimental group who participated in music therapy sessions focused on creating a musical play. The experimental group selected themes, made a script, composed song lyrics and music, and performed the completed musical play. The Self-Esteem Scale, Self-Expression Scale, and Social Skills Rating System (SSRS) were administered before and after the intervention. The experimental group exhibited significantly higher scores than the control group on all of the scales except subscales of the Self-Expression scale and the SSRS. The results of this study suggest that group music therapy can facilitate children's engagement in group work and that playing an important role in the group can positively impact their perceptions of themselves.

Effects of a older volunteer activity on the career development of girl's middle school student -Career attitude maturity, Career decision level- (노인봉사활동이 여중생의 진로발달에 미치는 영향 -진로태도성숙도, 진로결정수준을 중심으로-)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the influences of older volunteer activity. In detail, Administered on girl's maddle school students with the program's purpose on encouragement of positive career development. The study sample was taken from 30 students attending Y girl's middle school in Gyeonggi province, all of whom were regular volunteers at a near by rest home. The contents of the study and apparatus alike incorporated the use of a CAMI and CDS employed as a means of observing the changes before and after older volunteer activity experience in relation to five sub factors and career decision level. The data were analyzed by t-test using the SPSS Program. The results were as follows: First, it appears that older volunteer activity, in general, partial effect of improving a girl's middle school students' career attitude maturity. Second, it appears that older volunteer activity, improving effect a girl's middle school students' career decision level. Third, a girl's middle school students' career attitude maturity and career decision level had positive to advance more in particular in cases where the students' family also participated in older volunteer activity. As observed by the above results, a older volunteer activity experience should be an integral to a girl's middle school students' career education program plan as an effective means of enhancing their career attitude maturity and career decision level.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to clarify the aspect on the Leisure-Activity of the Scholar-Si in the autumn season. The Aspect on the Leisure-Activity of the Scholar-Sijo in the autumn season can be divided into three type. Three type are the recreation, the health-care, and the self-discovery. The type of the recreation is represented of the autumn scenery and the complacency in the second chapter, the type of the health-care is represented of the wholesome food and the simplification of life in the third chapter, the type of the self-discovery is represented of the autumn harvesting and the sense of well-being in the fourth chapter. In order to study the Aspect on the Leisure-Activity of Sijo in the autumn season which have succeeded up to present without interruption, it is to gather more materials, widen an appreciative eye our leisure-activity and deepen the till now study continuously.

주제탐구 중심의 수학영재 캠프 - 초등학교 중심 -

  • 영재교육이 우리나라의 미래를 좌우한다는 생각은 이제 매우 설득력을 얻고 있지만 구체적인 학습자료와 이론이 여전히 부족한 상태이다(1999,김주봉). 수학 캠프의 활동에 관한 교육 프로그램은 더욱더 찾아보기 힘들다. 대구광역시 동부교육청 시범영재학급에서는 03년 1월 9일부터 11일까지 2박3일간 동부 계명대학교 자연과학부 백은관에서 영재캠프를 개최하였다. 이번 캠프는 주제탐구중심의 캠프로서 협동심과 창의력중심으로 전국 최초로 이루어졌고, 4학년 22명, 5학년 21명, 6학년 24명 총 67명과 담당장학사1명, 진행도우미 8명, 운영교수진 8명, 체험학습 강사10명 총94명이 참가하였다. 프로그램은 영재교육의 전문가인 교수와 초 중등 현직교사들에 의하여 운영되었고, 프로그램 계획 수립 및 진행총괄은 담당장학사와 본 연구자가 진행하였다. 학생들의 수준의 차이가 적지 않는 데다가 본 연구자는 4개월 동안 캠프를 준비하여 학생들로부터 캠프에 대한 소감을 통하여 결과가 긍정적인 내용이 많아서 매우 성공적인 캠프가 이루어 졌다고 생각한다. 본 고에서는 캠프일정과 운영. 교육프로그램, 주제탐구물 결과에 대하여 살펴볼 것이다.

  • The vitual reality technology to assist fire activities has been developed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). For this, the 3D-geographic information of Nagasaki city, Japan was constructed from tracing the aerial photograph and adding the height information of measured buildings including stairs. And also, with large multi-plane stereo presentation equipment called Immersible Projection Technology (IPT), and the 3D-digital map was presented in actual scale of town. As the result, the observer could obtain three-dimensional information in the various angles as if we can gain our experience at first hand, it will help to assist fire activities.

  • 본 논문은 고공강하 훈련장치인 수직 풍동 장비의 현황 및 실내 스포츠로서의 활용방안에 대하여 논의하였다. 고공강하는 군의 특수낙하훈련이나 일반인의 스포츠 레저 활동으로 이루어지며. 극한의 스포츠를 즐기려는 사람들이 증가하하여 외국의 경우에는 활성화되어 있는 스포츠의 하나이다. 특히 북유럽 지역에서는 겨울에 실내 고공낙하를 위해서 사용할 수 있는 장비로서 수직 풍동이 사용된다. 수직풍동은 개방식과 폐쇄 회로형으로 개발되어 활용되고 있으며, 최근에는 놀이시설의 일환으로 회로형의 고가수직풍동이 많이 설치되는 추세에 있다. 수직풍동은 고공강하 체험 및 훈련을 위한 장비로서 미래에는 더욱 많이 이용되게 될 것으로 보인다. 극한 스포츠를 즐기려는 사람들이 증가하고 오락기구로서도 매력적인 장비이기 때문에 앞으로 국내에서도 이러한 시설의 설치 및 활용이 이루어질 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 실버세대의 여가활동 및 두뇌훈련 위한 기능성게임콘텐츠를 제안한다. 두뇌훈련 게임은 기억력 훈련, 집중력 훈련, 시공감각 훈련과 판단력 훈련으로 6종의 게임콘텐츠로 구성되어 있으며, 실버세대들이 사용하기 쉬운 인터페이스와 실버세대의 게임에 대한 공감대 형성과 쉬운 접근을 위하여 춘향전을 각색하여 게임 시나리오로 적용하였다. 게임콘텐츠에 대한 평가 및 선호도 조사, 기능성게임콘텐츠 종목 발굴을 위해 401명을 대상으로 게임을 체험한 후 설문조사를 실시하였고, 결과를 토대로 선호도 및 기능성 게임 개발 시 요구 사항을 분석하였다.
