Carbon Reduction Effect of Traffic Operational Methods Itemized in National Project for Advanced Traffic Operation and Management (교통운영체계선진화의 탄소감축 효과 연구)

  • The presidential council on national competitiveness and the national police agency have initiated a national project to refresh the road traffic control and operation systems to increase operational efficiency at signalized intersections. It would reduce the number of stops and delay of vehicles at intersections and thus mitigate congestion and emission. Although significant reduction of carbon is expected as a consequential result, such effects has yet been studied since traffic operation was behind of interest in the field of green transportation where planning was mainly involved. This paper delivers the macroscopic effects of carbon reduction of the selected items of the national project: the ones managed by the police agency. The results showed that the studied items yield significant reduction of carbon: pedestrian push button operation, flashing signal operation, progression, lagging left turns, permitted left turn, and actuated left-turn operation would reduce 12.31%, 3.27%, 2.44%, 0.97%, 0.81%, and 0.72% of the total amount of carbon emitted a year in a whole transportation sector, respectively.

  • In this paper, the new user mobility model which can be utilized to register user's location for interworking with heterogeneous overlay convergent networks under the time-varying radio propagation environment has been proposed. Thus the user mobility model is considered in order to evaluate the behaviors of users in the overlay convergent networks. This Mobile IP user mobility model will be very useful to model the user mobility behaviors and can be used to estimate the signaling traffic and frequency spectrum demands for massive data transfer for the heterogeneous overlay convergent networks.

  • This paper describes the verification and the validation about the development of the integrated interoperability system for live, virtual, and constructive simulations on the aircraft weapon system. The proposed integrated interoperability system provides the framework and application softwares for implementing a synthetic environment emulating real-world environment among distributed simulation models, which are a mission model and an air combat model of a constructive level, an tactical simulator of a virtual level, and simulated ACMI of a live level. In this paper, we verify requested functions through an developmental test and evaluation, and validate operability and usability through conducing integrated LVC scenarios on the integrated interoperability system.

  • 통신기술의 발달에 따라 기존의 통신망은 TP 기반의 NGN 구조로 통합이 추진되고 있으며, 서비스 형태도 음성주도형 서비스에서 음성과 데이터가 혼합된 멀티미디어형 서비스로 전환되는 추세이다. 또한 기존 PSTN 서비스를 인터넷기반으로 대체하는 인터넷전화 서비스가 출현하게 되었다. 인터넷전화 서비스는 VoIP 관련 번호 제도가 체계적으로 도입되고 사업자 역무가 구체화될 경우 본격적인 활성화 단계에 진입할 것으로 예상된다. 기업측면에서는 통신 요금을 절감하고 음성과 데이터를 통합하여 사용할 수 있는 사설망 구축을 적극적으로 도입하거나 활용을 검토하고 있는 추세이며 개인 고객들도 향후 IP 기반의 유무선 인터넷전화 서비스를 많이 활용하게 될 것이다. 결국 ITSP와 사설기업망이 많이 생겨나게 되고, 이러한 환경에서는 ITSP(Internet Telephony Service Provider)와 사설 기업망 가입자들은 모든 타사업자 (ITSP, 무선통신사업자. PSTN 사업자, 사설 기업망 등)들간 통신을 위하여 협약을 체결하고, 호 라우팅을 위한 정보를 유지하고 과금 정산 기능을 지원하여야 하는 문제점이 있다. 이를 위한 방안으로서 사업자간 정산 시스템을 중심으로 ITSP와 사설기업망 가입자를 연동하도록 구성할 수 있다. 프로토콜로서는 ETSI 표준 프로토콜 OSP을 사용하도록 한다. 본 고에서는 사업자간 정산 시스템(OSPs : OSP 서버)을 통한 ITSP와 사설 VoIP 망들간의 호 서비스 연동 방안을 제시하였다.

  • Current video surveillance system that is being used in the country are composed of different video surveillance s ystem that is produced in a number of domestic and foreign manufacturers and perform a service. These video surv eillance systems are using different protocols and interfaces, operating method, it provides such performance without interworking and interoperability between the video surveillance systems, in accordance with the purpose of operatin g the subject is being operated separately. Therefore, in order to provide an image with a more systematic and effici ent security service, many operational constraints are requested. The present study defines the standardization for a unified standard interfaces and protocols to ensure the interworking and interoperability between the different individ ual video security system.

  • CDMA 방식의 디지털 이동통신 망은 기존의 2G 방식에서 IX, IxEV-DO을 거쳐 WCDMA로 비약적으로 발전하고 있으며, 이에 따라 무선망 운용 및 최적화 방법도 진화해가고 있다. 운용자들이 Field Tool을 사용하여 직접 Field 데이터를 측정, 분석하고 조치하는 방식이 가장 기본적인 방법이라면, Field 데이터와 Network 데이터를 함께 수집하여 분석하는, 보다. 발전된 방법도 사용되고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 방법도 여러 Tool에서 데이터를 off-line으로 수집한 후 분석 작업을 수동으로 반복 수행해야하는 번거로움이 있어, 실시간 on-line 무선망 최적화 시스템을 통한 체계적이고 과학적인 운용 방법을 생각해 볼 수 있다. 우선, 타 운용 Tool 들과의 on-line 연동으로 중앙 집중적 데이터베이스를 구축하여, 무선망에 관련된 모든 데이터에 대한 통합적인 관리가 필요하다. 이 데이터베이스를 이용하여, 실시간으로 무선망 성능 및 효율 저하 원인 분석을 실시하며, 분석된 결과는 기지국의 상태 및 문제점 도출에서부터 최종 처방까지 제시해준다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 솔루션을 구축하기 위한 다양한 네트웍 데이터 연동(성능, 장애, 구성, RF, 실측 데이터 등), 주요 KPI (Key Performance Indicator) 모니터링, 통계적 분석, 무선망 분석 등에 대해 고찰해본다.

  • This paper presents a design and implementation of an extended directory system in manage and provide an effective search operation of the DFR(Document Filing and Retrieval) Object's attributes. For this, the design and implementation of a configuration model for interworking between the DFR and directory systems, an association mechanisms between two application's operation, extended directory schema and extended DIT(Directory Information Tree) are described. In a distributed environment, the interworking between the DFR and directory system implemented by using QUIPU 8.0 of ISODE(ISO Development Environment) directory system is tested. based on the result of this paper, an extended model of the directory system is proposed for proving search operation of various application's objects.

  • Multi-resolution modeling(MRM) is required when simulating objects in variable resolution and can be applied for interoperating systems, which simulate objects in fixed resolution. However, most interoperation middleware do not support MRM, so participating models must handle several issues to simulate MRM system. In this paper, we propose an interoperation system, which is composed of several different resolution models, based on the High Level Architecture and Run-Time Infrastructure(HLA/RTI). In the proposed architecture, each model participates to a HLA federation through MRM adapter application, which supports data resolution conversion and HLA services while communicating with the model. MRM adapter application can be implemented based on an MRM adapter, and an adapter application development tool is proposed to support developing the application. Using the tool, developers can easily implement data resolution conversion component plugged-in HLA adapter. A case study is implemented in the proposed MRM system, and shows that models of different resolution works successfully with dynamic resolution changes.

  • We present a link that allows Excel to call the functions in the lp_solve system. lp_solve is free software licensed under the GPL that solves linear and mixed integer linear programs of moderate size. Our link manages the interface between Excel and lp_solve. Excel has a built-in add-in named Solver that is capable of solving mixed integer programs, but only with fewer than 200 variables. This link allows Excel users to handle substantially larger problems at no extra cost. Futhermore, we introduce that a network drawing method in Excel using arc adjacency lists of a network.

Interworking between Smart TV and Smart Device to Enhance Interactivity of Smart TV Platform Game (스마트 TV 기반 게임콘텐츠의 상호작용성을 높이기 위한 스마트 TV와 스마트 디바이스의 연동 방법 연구)

  • TV has evolved into thin and wide shaped due to the huge sales of LCD. And it makes many houses own large TV easily. After that TV technology focuses on large and high-definition screen. Recently majority of TV market is that of smart TV which is equipped with internet and GPOS(General Purpose Operating System) so people can install several applications on TV. Yet smart TV's remote controllers are not suitable for several applications. Especially there is no way to provide people with sufficient interactivity with game contents of TV. In this paper, we proposed new methodology for interworking between smart TV and smart device to enhance interactivity of smart TV platform game.
