Objective : This clinical study investigated the effect of Yeosindan on dystocia caused by abnormal expulsive forces. Methods : Yeosindan was applied on the umbilicus of a primipara who had gone through latent phase for 15hrs and was almost expected to undergo C-sec by dystocia. It was sealed with an plaster. Yeosindan was removed immediately after the delivery. Results : 1. 90 minutes after Yeosindan had been applied on the umbilicus of the primipara, the active phase dilatation of uterus was started normally. 2. After 190 minutes from the Yeosindan application, the 2nd stage of labor was finished. 3. In this case, the delivery time, of which average is 344 minutes from the active phase to the second stage of labor, was reduced by 244 minutes. 4. So far, no abnormal condition has been detected in both the neonates and the primiparas.

In this paper, we propose an efficient algorithm which can relocate the datablock of an aircraft when it is overlapped. If the datablock which represents the aircraft information in the control display is overlapped, relocation without overlapping is necessary because it is difficult to control the air traffic in this situation. The proposed algorithm relocates the data block with minimum movement by considering the characteristics of datablock. The moving distance of minimum movement is calculated using the height or width of rectangle which is created during overlapping. And the moving direction of minimum movement is calculated by considering the directivity of the datablock. When the distance between the target symbol and datablock is distant enough, the relocation is carried out using the existing algorithm as a special case. The proposed algorithm shows improved performance in comparison with the existing algorithm due to the fact that it considers many different cases of the datablock.

In this paper, Pipelined A/D converter with multi SHA structure is proposed for high speed operation. The proposed structure incorporates a multi SHA block that consists of multiple SHAs of identical characteristics in parallel to improve the conversion speed. The designed multi SHA is operated by non-overlapping clocks and the sampling speed can be improved by increasing the number of multiplexed SHAs. Pipelined A/D converter, applying the proposed structure, is designed to satisfy requirement of analog front-end of VDSL modem. The measured INL and DNL of designed A/D converter are $0.52LSB{\sim}-0.50LSB\;and\;0.80LSB{\sim}-0.76LSB$, respectively. It satisfies the design specifications for VDSL modems. The simulated SNR is about 66dB which corresponds to a 10.7 bit resolution. The power consumption is 24.32mW.

The wideband chirp signal generator to enhance the resolution of synthetic aperture radar of obtaining the earth observation image is needed. This paper deals with designing, manufacturing and testing the wideband digital chirp signal generator having high resolution for LEO earth observation satellite. The wideband digital chirp signal generator is implemented with the memory-map based structure which is mostly applied in the satellite, and consists of the digital module to generate the digital chirp signal and the RF module to perform the quadrature modulation. The I/Q signals stored in the memory of the digital module are D/A converted and delivered to be quadrature modulated with the reference signal of 1275 MHz in the RF module. Furthermore, the test bench and GUI to validate the signal generator function are also developed. It is found that the requirement of 144 MHz bandwidth for the digital chirp signal generator is well met. Finally it is noteworthy that the distortion occurred in the chirp signal generator was compensated by the pre-distortion compensation.

In this paper, a single-bit 2nd-order delta-sigma modulator with the architecture of cascaded-of-integrator feedforward (CIFF) is proposed for column-parallel analog-to-digital converter (ADC) array used in a low noise CMOS image sensor. The proposed modulator implements two switched capacitor integrators and a single-bit comparator within only 10-㎛ column-pitch for column-parallel ADC array. Also, peripheral circuits for driving all column modulators include a non-overlapping clock generator and a bias circuit. The proposed delta-sigma modulator has been implemented in a 110-nm CMOS process. It achieves 88.1-dB signal-to-noise-and-distortion ratio (SNDR), 88.6-dB spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR), and 14.3-bit effective-number-of-bits (ENOB) with an oversampling ratio (OSR) of 418 for 12-kHz bandwidth. The area and power consumption of the delta-sigma modulator are 970×10 ㎛2 and 248 ㎼, respectively.

This study explained the historical changes in the habitat structures based on the aerial photographs (1948, 1967, 1973, 1989 and 2010) of the mid-stream reach of the Mangyeong River. The habitat structure was divided into landforms and aquatic habitats. The landform was classified into bare land, vegetated land, water surface, farmland and artificial land. The aquatic habitat was classified into natural riffle, artificial riffle, run, head wando, tail wando, mid wando, pond and chute channel. The ratio of bareland decreased, and water surface and vegetated land increased after the excavation in 1970s and since the construction of weir in 1980s. As historical changes of aquatic habitat, ratio of run decreased sharply while mid wando increased sharply. aquatic habitats such as head wando, tail wando, and pond located on bars decreased dramatically.

In this study, ray-tracing software was used to calculate the optical path length of an optical system. Using the optical path length, the optical phase, group delay (GD), group delay dispersion (GDD), and third-order dispersion (TOD) of the optical system were obtained. Pulse compressors using a prism pair or grating pair were designed to compensate the GDD of a real optical system for a femtosecond fiber laser. Also, a pulse stretcher using a grating pair with lenses or mirrors was designed. The results of this study can be used to calculate the dispersion of an optical system and optimize the performance of an ultrashort pulse laser optical system.

"Haerincheokso" is a collection of 279 letters, including the last one Gong Heon-gyeong sent to Lee Sang-jeok in 1865, which were sent by 61 people from 1830. This study examined the career and activities of each of the 61 senders based on their personal details. First, it was found that the senders had special relationships with Lee Sang-jeok. One of them, for example, published "Eunsongdangjip", a collection of poems written by Lee Sang-jeok. Second, many of the senders were from Jiansu Province, Shanxi Province and Zhejiang Province. Third, more than 50 percent of people Lee Sang-jeok had a friendship with were outstanding intellectuals who were Jinsa or Geoin. Fourth, all of the senders except for a monk and the owner of a ginseng shop did vigorous cultural activities in Yanjing at the time. If the reader read "Haerincheokso" based on information above, he will be able to reduce mistakes of misreading the book. Furthermore, the book offers some materials necessary to grasp the cultural exchanges between Korea and China in the 19th century.

Jainpalkwangdae(慈仁八廣大) of Kyungsan area in Kyungbuk province was restored through over 50 years gap. This play basically has the structure of conflict - reconcillation, which is differentiated from a masque and a tightrope walking. The characters of this play are a nobleman, Malttuki (a servant), a legal wife and a second wife. Their personality is deviant from a existing Korean masque. This weird and artificial appearance may be a problem in the process of restoration. Otherwise, it might be a very different transmission type of masque. Therefore, we need to investigate why Jainpalkwangdae is different from a traditional masque.
