Advanced ICT abused by Terror in the 4th Industrial Revolution Era (제4차 산업혁명시대의 테러에 악용되는 첨단 정보통신기술)

  • The 4th industrial revolution technology has brought many changes not only in human life but also in the industrial field. ICT such as 5G and artificial intelligence and convergence/complex systems such as drones and robots are convenient for humans, and automation of all processes in the industrial field. However, these advanced information and communication technologies also have adverse functions. As advanced ICT was incorporated into military and terrorist weapon systems, more powerful and highly destructive weapon systems began to be developed. In particular, by applying advanced ICT to the production and use of terrorist tools, the terrorist method became more sophisticated and caused more damage. In this paper, we derive advanced ICT that can be abused according to the terror patterns in the 4th industrial revolution era, and present a method that is applied from preparation to execution of terrorism. The abuse of advanced ICT makes terrorism more stealthy and subtle, and increases its destructive power.

  • Nobody deny that Machine Tool has leaded to the development of mechanical technology as it is known for long time. According to this, it has always been changed newly by appling advanced technology. This paper introduces the evolution history of machine tools and describes how the ICT is applied to develop a new type of machine tool. For that, it has been shown what kind of elementary technologies are required. The future vision has also been concluded in this paper.

Research on Instructional Design Models for Cross-Cultural Collaborative Online Learning (온라인 국제교류 협력학습 설계모형 탐구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the concepts and types of cross-cultural collaborative online learning that enhance the utilization of advanced ICT in education and contribute to the promotion of educational exchanges between countries, and suggest exchange learning design models necessary for the active introduction. For this study, previous studies related to cross-cultural collaborative online learning were examined. As a result, cross-cultural collaborative online learning is an educational method based on constructivism that explore and construct knowledge by interacting and collaborating with students, teachers, and field experts who are linguistically and culturally heterogeneous based on advanced ICT. The type of cross-cultural collaborative online learning could be divided into synchronous exchange learning centered on remote video classes and asynchronous exchange learning centered on website based tasks. A PPIE learning design model considering the characteristics of each type is presented.

  • This study is aimed at developing the STEAM instruction materials for mathematics subject-based advanced technology and ICT teaching tools. In order to develop the STEAM materials, a PDI model in which the implementation and evaluation steps were simplified to Improvement was used. The developed STEAM materials were revised and supplemented by a group of experts. The subject of the STEAM class material developed in this study is 『Graph! The bridge that connects the past, present and future』 , 『You are the same but different!』 , 『Creating a virtual reality three-dimensional space together』 , 『And making interesting figures』 and 『Cover the roof of the turtle ship!』 . As a suggestion based on the results of this development study, various STEAM education materials should be developed and shared so that STEAM education can be performed in the elementary education field. And for the spread and settlement of STEAM education, the cultivation and expansion of STEAM education capabilities of on-site elementary school teachers or pre-service teachers will be an absolute prerequisite. And this suggests the need for a continuous and long-term approach to follow-up research on STEAM education.

  • The development of information and communication technology in the 21st century has increased operational efficiency by providing hyper-connectivity and hyper-intelligence in the control systems of major infrastructure, but is also increasing security vulnerabilities, exposing it to hacking threats. Among them, the electric power system that supplies electric power essential for daily life has become a major target of cyber-attacks as a national critical infrastructure system. Recently, in order to protect these power systems, various security systems have been developed and the stability of the power systems has been maintained through practical cyber battle training. However, as cyber-attacks are combined with advanced ICT technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data, it is not easy to defend cyber-attacks that are becoming more intelligent with existing security systems. In order to defend against such intelligent cyber-attacks, it is necessary to know the types and aspects of intelligent cyber-attacks in advance. In this study, we analyzed the evolution of cyber attacks combined with advanced ICT technology.

  • MP3폰이 카메라폰에 이어 휴대폰 시장의 차세대 주역으로 떠오르고 있다. 삼성전자, LG전자, 팬택, SK텔레텍 등 단말기 제조사들이 첨단기능을 갖춘 MP3폰을 선보이고 있다. 최근에는 이동통신사들도 가세해 MP3폰 이용자들을 위한 음악 서비스를 강화하고 나섰다. 이런 추세라면 기존 음악 시장을 주도하고 있는 MP3 플레이어를 대체할지도 모른다는 전망이 조심스럽게 나오고 있다.

이통사, 멀티미디어로 LBS 키운다

  • LBS가 기본적으로 이동통신 기지국과 위성위치확인시스템(GPS:Global Positioning System)을 통해 개인이나 차량의 위치 정보를 파악하고, 이를 기반으로 각종 첨단 서비스를 제공하다보니, 이통사의 핵심 서비스로 발전되고 있는 것은 틀림없다. 특히 과거 국방.교통.물료 및 환경 분야에서 사용되던 GPS기반의 LBS기술이 이동통신망과 연결되면서 대중적이고 일반적인 서비스로 발전해 나가고 있어 향후 이통사들의 먹거리로 손색없다는 평가를 받고 있다.

  • 유비쿼터스-도시(U-City)는 도로, 교량, 학교, 병원 등 도시기반시설에 첨단 정보통신기술을 융합하는 유비쿼터스 기반시설 구축을 통해 교통, 환경, 복지 등 각종 유비쿼터스 서비스를 언제 어디서나 제공하는 도시이다. 정부, 지자체, 공사에서 주도한 u-City건설을 지속적으로 발전하기 위해서는 수익성을 확보하는 모델이 필요하다. 현재 민간기관에서는 다양한 유형의 수익성 확보방안을 주장하고 있는데 최신연구자료로는 탄소배출권 및 스마트그리드를 통한 수익모델등이다. 본 연구 에서는 u-City사업에 u-Eco 서비스 특화를 통한 수익성 확보 방안을 제안한다.
