게임은 데카르트적 좌표(Cartesian coordinates)의 전통을 뒤흔들고 육체와 정신, 이성과 감성, 실재와 가상을 가로지르면서 진화하고 있다. 수많은 철학적 담론을 야기하는 사유의 대상이 되고 있는 게임은 "미학적 기술(Aesthetic Technology)의 철학화(Philosophizing)"로 새롭게 정의될 수 있다. 게임의 메타포적 특성은 철학화하는 게임을 규정하는 중요한 면이다. 메타포(Metaphor)는 '개념의 매핑'(Mapping of the Concept)이며, 분리된 정신과 육체, 내용들을 연결하는 게임 역시 개념의 매핑으로 메타포가 된다. 게임의 메타포적 특성은 몰입(Immersive)과 연결되며 게임 기술의 발달로 개념의 매핑은 '개념의 몰핑'(Morphing of the Concept)으로 나아간다. 게임과 서사 사이의 갈등 또한 철학화 하는 게임의 까다로움을 드러내는 것이다. 게임학(Ludology)과 서사학(Narratology)의 이론적 논쟁에도 불구하고, 게임의 서사와 문학의 서사 사이에는 분명한 존재론적 차이가 있다. 우리는 게임에서 단지 사물이 움직이는 것을 보는 것이 아니라, 우리는 '우리 자체가(우리 스스로가) 움직이기 때문에 움직이는 것들을 보는 것'이기 때문이다. 그러므로 게임의 앵글(보는 방식)은 의미와 행위자가 아니라 '사용과 사용자(Use and User)'로 이동되어야 하며, 이때 서사는 '규칙의 해석(Interpretation)' 과정에서 생기는 잉여물(Surplus)이 된다. 게임은 수적으로 재현되며, 수적 재현을 통해 만들어지는 생산물(Product)은 서사가 아니라 알고리즘(Algorithm)이라는 숨은 규칙을 지닌 데이터베이스(Database)이다.

The study acknowledges the importance of philosophical basis such as paradigms and epistemology in knowledge organization system development. The study aims at providing implications of Rorty's neo-pragmatism on knowledge organization system development. The study discussed Rorty's main concepts - Anti-Dualism, Languages, Ethnocentrism, and Solidarity, and further how these elements are utilized in system design. The study focuses on philosophical basis, knowledge organization system development approach, and methodology. It has values in that it provides implications for other philosophical discussions to be applicable to knowledge organization.

Artificial intelligence may be said like a human being. What is different thing between artificial intelligence and human intelligence? The people think that the artificial intelligence understands the meaning of the word to see artificial intelligence saying. However, it is different that artificial intelligence is identified as understanding a human being. We apply Wittgenstein's philosophy to this problem whether the artificial intelligence understands a meaning of language. We think that the artificial intelligence does not understand a live meaning of human life.

This research analyzes the revised philosophy class in the 5th Edition of Korean Decimal Classification. It depends on the 1st Edition of KDC despite of the fact that contents and words were revised and changed, numbers for classification were moved, and indices were removed from the previous Edition of KDC. The object of the 5th Edition of KDC, metaphysics and eistemology are organized in the same sub-class(綱) through modifying, sex psychology, development psychology, physiognomy fortune judgment, applied psychology are expanded that its data are increasing in psychology, ethics, moral philosophy are modified.

필자는 이 글에서 박병철의 저서 Phenomenological Aspects of Wittgenstein's Philosophy (Kluwer 1998)에 대한 박정일 박사의 서평과 김영건 박사의 비판에 대한 반론을 제시하고 있다. 먼저 현상학과 현상론의 구분이 불분명하다는 비판에 대한 반론에서 시작하여, 유아론에 대한 비판을 반박하고 있으며, "논리-철학 논고"에서의 대상의 본성에 대한 견해도 밝히고 있다. 필자는 무엇보다도 자신의 시도가 여전히 불투명한 비트겐슈타인의 철학을 놓고 벌어지는 다양한 해석의 스펙트럼의 한 부분을 이룰 수 있을 것이라고 주장한다.

이 글의 기본적인 목적은 논리 체계의 근간이 되는 구조의 중요성을 부각시키는데 있다. 이를 위하여 여기서는 그러한 구조 논의가 격자를 통해 마련될 수 있다는 점을 논리, 철학적으로 예증하였다. 구체적으로 첫째로 그간 이질적인 체계로 간주되어 온 명제를 대상으로 한 고전 논리와 직관주의 논리, 다치 논리가 모두 격지 구조를 갖는다는 것을 형식적으로 증명하였다. 둘째로 격자 구조가 갖는 철학적 함의를 멱등법칙을 중심으로 검토하였다.

본 논문은 LISP의 기본적인 특성으로 간주되는 조건 표현과 회기에 대한 철학적 분석이다. 특히 여기서는 논리적 결합사들과 LISP의 원초적 용어들을 비교하고 있다. LISP은 현대 철학자들이 구성했던 이상언어의 사상을 계승한 것으로 여겨진다. 이러한 점에서 인공지능 연구와 철학 간의 학제적 연구가 절실히 필요하다는 논지를 몇가지 검토해 보았다.

불살생계를 제1계율로 내세우는 불교는 기본적으로 생명을 해치는 그 어떠한 행위도 용납하지 않는다. 따라서 원칙적인 입장에서는 사신(捨身) 행위에 해당하는 뇌사와 장기이식 등에 부정적인 입장을 견지한다. 그러나 현실적인 측면[적용의 융통주의]을 고려하면서도 본질적인 측면[원칙주의]을 간과하지 않는 불교의 자비와 중도주의적인 입장에 따른다면, 특수한 경우에 한해서 뇌사와 장기이식을 고려할 수도 있을 것이다. 즉 불교는 뇌사와 장기이식을 기본적으로 인정하지는 않지만, 자비의 원칙에 따라 어떤 상황에서는 엄격한 규제를 통한 제한적인 범위 내에서 뇌사와 장기이식을 허용할 수도 있다는 중도적인 입장을 취한다고 할 수 있다.

이 글은 박병철과 이승종의 저술에 대한 박정일의 서평을 중심으로 비트겐슈타인 철학의 몇몇 문제점을 고찰하면서 다음과 같은 것을 주장한다. 첫째 비트겐슈타인 철학의 현상학적 양상을 추적하고 있는 박병철의 현상학의 개념이 명백하지 않다. 둘째 "논리철학논고"의 유아론은 경험적 유아론이 아니라 선험적 유아론이다. 셋째 "논리철학논고"의 대상은 감각자료가 아니다. 넷째 우리에게 주어진 소여는 논리적인 것이다. 다섯째 박병철은 이 논리적인 것을 경험에 근거지우는 실책을 범하고 있다. 여섯째 모순의 형식적 개념에 대한 이승종의 비판은 성공적이지 않다. 일곱째 이것은 박정일이 지적한 것처럼 허수아비 공격의 오류를 범했기 때문인 것처럼 보인다. 여덟째 모순된 규칙에 대한 이승종의 이해는 박정일이 지적하듯이 잘못되었다.

This study focused on what philosophy of education based on theory of Dewey has to be involved in teacher professional development program. In this view, an attempt was made to identify characteristics and ultimate goal of professional development program. Finally, this paper also discussed the design and the process of the professional development program based on the principles of reflective thinking and psychological observation by Dewey in order to connect theory with practice as a model which is for conducting professional development program for a group of mathematics teachers.
