Research on Vibration and Noise Characteristics of Steel Plate Girder Bridge with Embedded Rail Track System (레일매립궤도 시스템이 적용된 판형교의 진동 및 소음특성에 대한 연구)

  • Most of the existing rail structures have undergone a lot of aging since a considerable period of time has passed from completion. In particular, among existing railway bridges, many of the plate girder bridges are older bridges that have lived 40 to 60 years or more. Since the treadmill is directly connected to the girder without the ballast, the running load of the vehicle is directly transmitted to the bridge. Therefore, the shock and noise applied to the bridge are larger than those of the ballast bridge, and the dynamic shock and vibration are also relatively large. Therefore, it is very urgent to develop appropriate maintenance, repair and reinforcement technology for existing steel plate bridge. In this study, the authors introduced the characteristics of embedded rail (ERS) developed for improving the performance of the existing plate girder bridge and the techniques solving the vibration and noise problems. In order to evaluate the vibration and noise reduction performance of ERS, a non-ballast plate girder bridge with 5m length of sleepers installed and a plate girder bridge with ERS were fabricated. And, then, the vibration response generated under the same excitation condition was measured and analyzed. Also, the radiated noise analysis was performed using the vibration response data obtained from the experiment as the input data of the acoustic analysis model. As a result of experiments and analyses, it was confirmed that the plate girder bridge's vibration using ERS was reduced by 15.0~18.8dB and the average noise was reduced by 7.7dB(A) more than the non-ballast bridge.

A Study on Data Mapping for Integrated Analysis of Railway Safety Data (철도 위험관리 데이터 연계 분석을 위한 기준 데이터 매핑 연구)

  • The railway system is an interface industry that can be safely operated by organically operating the lines, vehicles, controls, etc. Various data are generated in the operation and maintenance activities of the railway system. These data are utilized in cooperation with safety and maintenance activities in each field, but amount of data is insufficient for data analysis of safety management due to relevant data being produced without any synchronous criteria such as time or space. In particular, reference data such as location and time of failure data for each field are set to different criteria according to the work characteristics in each field. So, it is not easy to analyze data integrally based on location and time. Therefore, mapping of reference data can be required for integrated analysis of data defined in different formats. By selecting data mapping tools and verifying the results of safety relevant data with the same criteria, the purpose of this paper is to enable integrated analysis of railway safety management data occurring in different fields based on location and time.

Application of Blockchain Technology to Verify Reliability of Life Cycle BIM Model for Civil Engineering Project (블록체인기술을 활용한 토목공사 생애주기 BIM 모델의 신뢰성 확보 방안)

  • As the utilization of the BIM model increases in the design and construction stages of a construction project, the utilization of BIM in the maintenance stage can also increase. In the maintenance stage, BIM objects created in the design and construction stages that have already been completed are used. Therefore, it is necessary to verify the reliability of whether the used BIM object is a certified model created in the design stage. In particular, the reliability of the BIM model becomes more important in a project such as railway facilities composed of various construction activities with civil engineering, architecture, electricity, signal, and track work. This study proposes a methodology of using blockchain technology as a way to secure the reliability of the BIM model used in the maintenance phase, and constructs the block structure and detailed process for applying the blockchain technology to BIM. In addition, by applying this process to the BIM model of an actual facility to generate a block, it was confirmed that the blockchain technology can be used as a tool to secure the reliability of the BIM model.

Investigation of Soil Pollution Status for Railroad Depot (철도 차량기지의 토양오염 실태 조사)

  • Railroad is well known for eco-friendly transportation system. But, for past few decades, there might be happened many contamination acts in railway facility sites. Industrial and municipal solid wastes produced to maintain and fix trains were dumped to underground of railroad depot area. To develop and reconstruct this area, we should remediate the contaminated soil and ground water. This study was conducted to evaluate the soil pollution status of railroad depot and propose the optimum remediation processes. Our investigation showed that main pollutants sources were TPH and some heavy metals from the dump site. The surveying results for the soil under rail track and crossing nose areas showed TPH contamination from crossing nose area causing lubricant agent. It could be use and rehabilitate the railroad facility areas to an intended purpose with an application of well designed in-situ and ex-situ remediation processes.

Concrete Lining Behaviors of Subway Tunnels according to Temperature Variations (온도변화에 따른 지하철 터널의 콘크리트 라이닝 거동)

  • In this study, the behavior of urban subway tunnels is measured using instrumentation sensors installed in the lining concrete inside subway tunnels in order to analyze their behavior according to temperature variations. It is observed that the stresses of the concrete lining, tunnel convergence, and cracks change according to the temperature variations. However, the crack deformation differs depending on the size and status of the crack. In addition, this study proposes a correction formula for the lining stress and tunnel convergence through numerical analyses of the concrete lining according to the temperature variations. The results of this research can be used in the tunnel maintenance considering the tunnel behavior depending on the temperature variations in the tunnel.

  • Because contemporary rolling stock system is complex and highly advanced, and it builds mutual interface, it is necessary to manage maintenance of rolling stock systematically. This study present a case, which shows how to adopt and apply RTD(Remote Transmission Device) integrated to train information collection device. After the train service is complete and the train enters the main subway station, various kinds of information collected from TCMS(Train Control Monitoring System) is transmitted to train depot information collection device through RTD. This study suggests that RTD integrated to train information collection device helps build an effective rolling stock maintenance system by improving reliability of data transmission and cutting maintenance costs.

Development of Automatic Crack Detection using the Gabor Filter for Concrete Structures of Railway Tracks (가버 필터를 사용한 철도 콘크리트 궤도 도상의 자동 균열 감지 개발)

  • Purpose: Concrete track that affects on railway safety can detect cracks using image processing technique. However, since a condition of concrete track and surface noisy are obstructed to detect cracks, there is a need for a way to remove them effectively. Method: In this study, we proposed an image processing to detect cracks effectively for Korean railway and verified its performance through experiment. We developed image acquisition system for capture a railway concrete track and acquired railway concrete track images, randomly selected 2000 images and detected cracks in the image process using proposed Gabor Filter Bank methods. Results: As a result, 94% of detection rate are matched to the actual cracks in same quality and format railway concrete track image. Conclution: The crack detection method using Garbor Filter Bank was confirmed to be effective for crack image including noise in the Korean railway concrete track. This system is expected to become an automated maintenance system in the existing human-centered railway industry.

차세대 전기통신망 및 서비스 플랫포옴 구축방안 -지능망과 TMN-

  • 통신망에 대한 고객의 요구는 음성이 대부분을 차지하고 기간통신망은 독점을 유지하였으나, 통신 모드(비음성, 데이터, 화상 등)에 대한 고객의 요구가 다양해지고 통신망은 개방과 경쟁이라는 새로운 위치에 놓이게 되었다. 따라서 이러한 변화에 대처하기 위하여 전세계적으로 차세대 통신망 및 서비스를 제공하기 위한 연구가 활발히 수행되어지고 있다. 이 가운데 가장 중요한 개념은 망요소(network element)를 기능화하고 서비스 빌딩블럭(generic service independent building block)의 집합에 의하여 다양한 미래 통신 서비스에 대한 유연하고(flexible), 일관성(uniform)있는 서비스 제공을 목표로 하는 지능망 구조(Intelligent Network Architecture)와 미래 통신망 및 서비스를 운용, 조절, 유지보수에 필요한 일련의 지원시스팀(support systems) 이상의 관리기능 영역을 제공하기 위한 ITU-T의 TMN(Telecommunication Management Network)이다. 본 연구는, 이 두 개념의 기본적 생각의 간결한 설명 후에, IN과 TMN의 공통점을 분석하고 일반적 통신망 환경에서 미래정보 네트워킹 구조를 위한 기초로써 제공되는 통합 망 및 서비스 관리에 대하여 가능한 통합분야를 명시할 것이다. 즉 지능망의 개념모형(INCM : In Conceptual Model)을 이용하여 TMN과의 상호 연계방안, 지능망 능력 증대 방안 그리고 ETSI 표준화 내용을 살펴봄으로써 향후 지능망 사업 및 통신망 관리 운용 시스팀 구축을 통한 차세대 전기통신망 및 서비스 플랫포옴 구축방안 연구에 도움을 주는 것을 목표로 하였다.

  • 원자력발전소의 건설은 막대한 비용과 시간이 소요되는 기한산업이므로 발전소의 수지선정, 설계, 제작, 건설에 이르는 건설단계에서는 철처한 안전대책, 품질관리 및 검사확인을 체계적으로 하는 것이 완전확보의 관건이 되며 운전단계에서는 절차주수와 성능유지가 가장 중요한 요소이다. 본고에서는 이러한 안전대책 현황을 포함하여 현재 진행되고 있는 개선노력을 기술하였다.
