  • 철도차량용 선형추진시스템에 있어서, 지상레일에 설치되는 선형유도전동기의 2차측의 리액션플레이트의 시공 공차에 의해서 발생되는 1차측과의 공극의 변화는 추진 시스템의 운행 시 승차감과 기기효율을 떨어뜨리는 결과를 초래하기 때문에 선형유도전동기의 균일 공극 운전은 추진 시스템의 효율을 증가시킬 수 있는 중요한 사항이다. 또한 경사구간에서의 선형유도전동기의 공극길이 조절을 통해서 선형유도 전동기의 용량 변경 없이 추력을 증가시키는 것이 가능하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 선형유도전동기의 공극 길이를 제어할 수 있으며, 공극 길이제어를 통하여 추진 시스템의 성능 변화를 살펴볼 수 있는 축소 모델선형유도전동기 성능시험기의 공극조절 시스템의 동적 모델링 및 특성 해석을 통하여 시스템을 구성하는 파라미터들의 특성 변화 분석 및 시스템 구현 가능성에 대한 연구를 수행하였다.

A Study on Moisture Transport of Artificial Lightweight Concrete (인공경량골재 콘크리트의 수분이동 특성에 관한 연구)

  • For the first step on the quantitative evaluation of shrinkage reduction and differential shrinkage analysis of lightweight aggregate concrete, this study sets the moisture transport model of concrete by pre-absorbed water of porous lightweight aggregates and measured effective moisture diffusion coefficient, moisture capacity, degree of humidity supply and degree of humidity consumption by water binder ratio and aggregate type. The effective moisture diffusion coefficient in steady state caused by humidity difference between inside and outside of concrete had low value as low water-binder ratio. And in case of same water-binder ratio, effective moisture diffusion of mixtures used normal aggregates were lower than those used lightweight aggregates. To determine moisture store capability of concrete - moisture capacity, moisture contents were measured in 9 humidity conditions. As a result moisture contents of mixtures used lightweight aggregates was higher than mixtures used normal aggregates in all humidity conditions. This study measured lightweight aggregates' degree of humidity supply that applicable to normal atmospheric environment (above RH 50%) and made it quantitatively. Also amount of moisture release was set as a exponential function that represents a clear trend proportion to time and inverse proportion to humidity of the surroundings. As the result of measurement about degree of moisture consumption inside concrete following the internal consumption caused by cement hydration self-drying, it was showed that rapid decrease of humidity, around 10%, at early ages (7~10 days) when water-binder ratio is 0.3 and slow decrease around 5% and 1% when water-binder ratio is 0.4 and 0.5.

  • Based on the data accumulated through EMU fault management, this paper examines the reliability of old railway car parts and proposes measurements to improve safety. Subway Line 7 of the Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation, auxiliary power unit (Static Inverter) of the EMU second version is a core equipment to supply power to various room-service units in cars and make an effect directly on passenger satisfaction. To analyze the pattern of failure throughout the field data over a long period of time, this analysis of statistics and reliability considers the operating environment and stress factors. This statistical analysis presents the correlation between failure and the temperature stress factors related to frequent failure occurring intensively in summer. In addition, throughout the analysis of the life of the IGBT inverter, the effect of the temperature stress factor was observed before and after the repair. As a result of an analysis of the optimal operating conditions considering two variations of EMU, such as variable load and outside temperature, a difference in the cooling capacity between the optimal operating conditions and frequent failure conditions was observed. Based on this analysis, this paper suggests a way to minimize cooling capacity difference for the optimal operational conditions.

  • Recently as increasing the amounts of cargoes and passengers, it is necessary to improving railway capacity and speed. So the constructions of improving the existing railway line have been advanced. Sometimes the new railway tunnel is built to adjacent the existing railway line. Furthermore the new tunnel might be built near the existing facility within the tunnel width. In this case, it should be analyzed the influence of existing tunnel and if it is necessary, it should be taken the appropriate counterplan. The major analysis contents are follows. One is the influence on the existing tunnel by a blasting and train vibration and the other is stability problem of the existing tunnel by excavation of new tunnel. Therefore, we peformed the following analysis. Refer to a domestic and foreign standard and paper, the permitting level of blasting vibration is decided and the excavation plan of the new tunnel are designed. The numerical analysis is performed about the stability of the existing tunnel and new tunnel. The influence of the train vibration on tunnel is analyzed by the empirical equation.

Derivations of Positive Pressure Condition for Development of Foldable Safe Pathway in Railway Tunnel Fires (철도터널화재용 접이식 대피통로 개발을 위한 양압 조건 도출)

  • The Korea Foldable safe pathway system is an evacuation support system to get temporary evacuation route in railway tunnel and large space fires. A prevention smoke screen is unfolded in fires and it is needed to prevent heat and smoke from fire source. Therefore, ventilation system for positive pressure condition is equipped with foldable safe pathway system. Numerical analyses of temperature and pressure distribution with distance from fire source were performed considering fire scenario of new train vehicle. The smoke temperatures did not exceed $200^{\circ}C$ that distance from the fire source was more than 20 m and smoke pressure was reduced with distance from fire source. Maximum smoke pressure was 14 Pa and average pressure was 6 Pa in position of prevention smoke screen. As results, to install foldable safe pathway system, ventilation system is need to maintain 6 Pa positive pressure condition.

  • 본 논문에서는 전동차의 정차 시 발생하는 회생에너지를 Battery에 충전할 수 있는 전력 변환 장치를 제안한다. 제안된 전력 변환장치는 DC 1500~2000의 가선전압을 분압하여 저압스위칭 소자 적용하며, 고주파 절연 변압기를 적용하였다. 이를 통해 시스템의 스위칭 주파수를 상승시켜 수동 소자들의 사이즈 축소 및 비용 절감 효과를 높이고, 가선과 Battery의 전기적 절연으로 시스템의 안정성을 높였다. 또한 가선 전압 분압을 통해 입력 전압의 변화에 유동적으로 대응할 수 있으며, 시스템의 병렬 구성을 통해 용량의 확장성을 가지게 된다. 제안된 논문에서 제안된 회생에너지 전력 변환 장치는 20[kW] 회생 컨버터 모듈의 5직렬 구성을 통해 100[kW]급 회생 컨버터 유닛을 구성하였으며, 회생 컨버터 유닛을 5병렬로 구성하여 500[kW]급 회생 전력 변환시스템을 구성하였다. 제안된 회생에너지 시스템은 모의 가선 전압 장치 및 Battery 부하를 통해 시스템의 타당성을 검증 한다.

  • 우리나라 지형의 특성은 약 70%가 산으로 이루어져 있다. 이러한 지형적 여건은 교통과 관련된 사회간접 자본의 증가로 이어지며, 최근에는 산업의 발전에 힘입어 교통량의 증가와 물류비용의 절감을 목적으로 철도 및 도로의 건설시 터널의 계획 및 시공이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 이에 따라 터널의 환경개선과 화재시 제연을 목적으로 설치되는 제트팬(Jet Fan)의 용량이 차지하는 전기적 비중이 높아지고, 전압강하에 대한 손실율이 증가되고 있다. 따라서 제트팬의 설치시 배치방법과 터널의 길이에 따른 전기실 배치를 Case 별로 분류하여 전압강하를 계산하고 분석하여 가장 효율적이며 경제적인 방안을 연구하고 정리하여 향후 설계시 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다.

  • Recently, while interests on supply of electric vehicles have increased there still are insufficient charging facilities. As a solution to this matter, using electric power grids that constantly retain about 30~50[%] residual power is being considered. Therefore proposed in this paper railway, is a method to establish a charging infrastructure to utilize railway DC power grids. In addition we designed a high-speed DC charging system, and simulated improvements of the charging structure's charging efficiency according to remaining capacity of batteries.

  • This paper have been dealt with the analysis for energy efficiency improvement effect of unity storage capacity as a part of the energy storage application study to improve energy efficiency in the electric railway systems. Especially, in order to estimate the amount of energy saving according to the variation of power capacity of each storage, the current limit module was mounted on an existing DC electric railway loadflow program which is based on the analysis model for railway system and storages, and combined optimization algorithm to determine optimal voltage boundary.

Determining the Capacity and Installation Positions of Regenerative Inverters at DC 1500V Electric Railway Substations (직류 1500V 전기철도용 변전소의 회생인버터 용량 및 설치위치 선정 방법)

  • The paper presents methods of determining the capacity and installation positions of regenerative inverters installed in DC 1500V electric railway system. We suggested a method that approximates using parameters related to substations where regenerative inverters are installed, railway lines and operating motor cars, and another that calculates using regenerative power obtained from Train performance Simulation (TPS) and Power Flow Simulation (PFS). We carried out TPS and PFS for Seoul Subway Line $5{\sim}8$, calculating regenerative power and determining substations where regenerative inverters would be installed and the optimal capacity and number of inverters to be installed.
