  • The purpose of this study is to search how to improvement mathods of rail freight by understanding the problems and the evasion reasons in coping with various case of logistics environment and to enhance competitiveness of rail freight. So we examined improvement of in the productivity in the rail container possibility for Modal shift in Korea railway, we have done a survey among the shiffer and multimodal transport operators in Korea. Data were analyzed using quantitiative mathod.

  • 철도 이해관계자인 승객, 정부, 운영사 그리고 제작사가 철도서비스에 요구하는 핵심적인 품질인자인 안전성, 정시성, 서비스 공급비용 등은 철도시스템의 신뢰성과 밀접한 관계가 있으므로 이들을 만족시키기 위해서는 체계적인 신뢰성 관리활동이 필요하다.

  • 기존선 속도향상, 안전성 확보, 수송서비스 개선을 목표로 하는 철도기술연구개발사업은 고객에게 고품질의 서비스를 제공하고 타 교통시스템과의 경쟁력을 확보하기 위하여 주관행정부처인 철도청과 전문기관인 한국철도기술연구원에서 추진하고 있다. 이 사업은 1999년 12월 철도기술연구개발사업기본 계획을 수립하여 2001년 8월 한국철도기술연구원을 사업자로 선정하고 총 450억의 정부지원예산을 투입하여 2004년까지 4차년도에 걸쳐 기존선 속도향상을 위한 실용화 기술개발, 철도유지보수시스템개발, 고속 철도운영시스템개발을 목표로 하고 있다.   • This study aims to verify the causal relationship between service quality of the urban railway operating agency and users' behaviors, targeting the urban railway users. The perceived ease of use of the urban railway service quality had an influence on tangibility and convenience, and the perceived usefulness was significant to all attributes; therefore, it is judged that reliability, correspondence and safety should be improved to increase the users' perceived ease of use of the urban railway service quality. Based on these study results, the urban railway operating agency should make an effort to increase the perceived ease of use and usefulness of the urban railway to improve the service quality, to positively change the users' attitudes toward use, and to make the positive change connected to the intention of reuse and intention of recommendation, the users' behavior intentions.

  • 기존의 철도용량의 개념은 하루동안 최대한 통과시킬 수 있는 최대 열차 횟수를 기본으로 하여왔다. 그러나 이러한 단순한 최대횟수는 그 사용상의 여러 가지 제한사항을 가지고 있다. 최대열차 운행횟수는 열차의 속도, 신뢰성등과 같이 고려하여야 하며, 이러한 고려는 자연스럽게 서비스수준과 같은 과거철도에서는 구체적으로 고려하지 않던 새로운 용량에 대한 접근을 요구하게 된다. 2004년에 세계철도연맹(UIC)에서 제안한 철도용량 산정절차는 이러한 측면에서 많은 점을 시사하고 있다. 새로운 절차의 한국의 지역간 철도에의 적용가능성을 검토해 본다. 본 연구에서는 2006년 11월 새로 개편된 경부선, 호남선의 열차시간표를 이용하여, 문제가 되고 있는 서울역${\sim}$시흥역 구간에 대해 UIC에서 새롭게 제시한 선로용량의 개념을 OpenTrack을 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 적용해보고, 이에 따라 선로 용량 산정시 적용할 수 있는 MOE를 찾아내 서비스수준(LOS)을 결정할 수 있는 방안을 제시해보고자 한다.

  • Since 2000, many local governments have been trying to introduce trams because of the government's failure to adopt environment-friendly policies and light rail. However, there is no service evaluation system that can maintain and enhance tram users' convenience, safety, and comfort during operation. In addition, the tram characteristics are not reflected in the application of the evaluation system of "management and service evaluation for public transportation operators" which is being implemented to railway operators or bus transportation operators. The purpose of this study is to develop the evaluation criteria of operating service according to tram operation model. First, we reviewed cases related to the evaluation of operating services in roads, buses, railways, and airways. And the evaluation criteria and the evaluation items are presented. This study is expected to help to secure and improve operational service in the operation phase of the tram that will be introduced in the future.

  • In order to improve continuous success and stabilization of high-speed rail in the future, Using Frequency of high-speed rail should be enhanced by improving satisfaction of high-speed rail passenger. High-speed rail is needed to hold the priority in competition means by comparing the traits of service of domestic air lines. This study utilizes structural equation modeling to develop model for estimating factors influencing to service through conducting survey questionnaire. It also uses reliability analysis, correlation analysis, factor analysis to examine the rationalization of items and to establish hypothesis of this research. The results show that KTX contains 'inner service' item that is considered to be ameliorated and that domestic airline present low performance of 'outer service' item. In other words, moving section which partly is under a limited condition is needed to be improved. In addition, access to airport and transfer to other transportations have to be improved as they show the lowest satisfaction.

  • The railroad is one of the most popular means of transport. However, railroad agencies are managing the railroad information and provide its service respectively. That is, because of managing the different information and its type, the user will not receive the correct and integrated information. Thus, it is needed to employ methods for converting the various types of railroad information into the unified railroad information. In this study, we investigated how to (semi-)automatically convert railroad information in each agencies to standard railroad information. Railroad passengers can use the railroad information service at a time, at a glance and in one place. In addition, we believe that there can be provided the opportunity to create an new service, which will dramatically develop a railroad information service through these systematic and integrated railroad information management.
