전기철도차량용 주 전력변환장치(추진제어장치)의 이해

  • 현대로템은 전기철도차량의 핵심장치인 주 전력변환장치(추진제어장치) 국산화 및 기술개발에 매진하여 왔으며, 성능 및 신뢰성 향상을 위하여 지속적으로 기술개발을 진행하고 있다. 또한 전력전자기술 및 산업기술 발전으로 인한 전기기기, 전력반도체, 제어기술 발전으로 전기철도차량용 주 전력변환장치(추진제어장치)도 비약적인 발전을 하였다. 이런 산업전반에 걸친 기술발전을 기반으로 현대로템은 전기철도차량용 주 전력변환장치의 원천기술 확보하면서 전기철도차량 시스템 기술 발전에 기여하고 있다. 본지에서는 전기철도차량의 핵심장치인 주 전력변환장치에 대한 이해를 돕고자 최근 전동차에 적용되고 있는 유도전동기용 주 전력변환장치인 추진제어장치를 소개하고자 한다.

  • Railway system has been unmanned and high-speedy. Korean railway corporations need a more effective and smarter system for operation and maintenance. So there are many theses that studied the intelligent operation and maintenance system using vision based technologies for railway corporation. This paper analyzes domestic theses which studied the intelligent vision based system for railway safety, railway vehicle and facilities and proposes research which uses the more powerful vision based technology with deep-learning for railway corporation.

  • Smart Railway as a next generation railway technology is expected to have rapid evolution with developments of information and communications tehchology. Especially, smart railway will be progressed more evolved transportation means for railway operation and costomer service based with spread of commercial 5G communication. So, it is very important to investigate and analyze trends of smart railway related tehcnology of 5G mobile communication for samrt railway infra structure, server technolgy for AI, big data, deep learning, information security technology, sensor and IoT. In this paper, 5G based communicaion technology and application techology related smart railway is described and trends of new techlogy on this communication tehnology is investigated. The results of this study can be used for smart railway study and implementation, research and development for smart railway communicaion technology, etc.

고속차량도입과 향후과제

  • 21세기 무한경쟁시대에 대비하여 국가산업의 경쟁력제고는 물론 지역의 균형발전을 위해 추진하고 있는 경부고속철도 건설사업은 2004년 4월 개통을 목표로 마무리 단계에 접어들었다. 경부고속철도 건설사업을 통하여 우수하고 완벽한 성능의 고속열차도입과 함께 첨단기술을 이전받아 기술수준을 향상시켰고 G7 연구개발 사업으로 시속 350Km급의 차세대 차량을 설계, 제작할수 있는 능력을 보유하게 되었다. 철도는 육로 교통수단과 달리 시스템적 특성이 매우 강하다. 즉 토목, 건축, 기계, 전기, 전자 등 각 분야의 균등한 기술발전을 도모하여야 철도선진국에 진입할 수 있으며 해외 진출이 가능하다. 사업 추진과정에서 습득한 각종 기술은 향후 건설사업의 독자적 추진을 가능케 하였으며, 철도차량의 제작사뿐만 아니라 부품업체가 해외시장을 개척할 수 있는 능력을 갖추어 철도 선진국으로 도약할 수 있는 기틀을 마련하였다.

  • 현재 철도시스템은 속도향상에 따른 각 부품의 한계에 직면하고 있다. 이 한계를 극복하고 각 시스템의 기능 향상을 위해 다양한 연구가 수행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 철도시스템에 나노기술과 같은 신기술을 융합하여 각 부분의 성능향상과 한계 극복 방안을 제시하는 기초 연구개발 방향에 대하여 기술하였다. 전기철도에 NT (Nano Technology)를 적용하기 위해 철도 시스템 전반에 걸친 탐색 연구를 수행하여 다양한 가능성 있고 특히 나노 기술을 이용한 철도시스템의 에너지효율 방안에 대하여 4가지의 기본적인 방안을 추출 하였다. 그 방안의 하나인 철도시스템의 에너지 전달을 위한 핵심부품인 집전판의 개선을 위한 기초 연구 결과를 상세 기술하였다.

  • As well as to operate a high-speed rail, our country with capability to produce high-speed train has developed a number of techniques, such as for a riding comfort improvement, automatic diagnosis for major electrical or mechanical parts, on board measurement for catenary systems and noise reduction of running rolling-stocks are still under development. In this paper, we describe the current status of operation technologies not only traditional railway wireless communication systems but also Long Term Evolution systems which would be deployed as soon as possible, like as in Europe, China and the United States. In addition, we produced the domestic wireless communication networks for railway which KORAIL Corp. has been operating and the schemes and the plans of HSR field test for the fourth generation mobile communication which should be enforced by national research and development.

  • 고속전철은 우리나라의 철도관련기술을 한단계 끌어올릴 수 있는 획기적인 계기로 삼아야 할 것이다. 따라서 어떠한 방식의 고속전철을 채용하느냐의 문제는 장래에 세계적인 철도의 수요가 어떠한 방식을 선호하게 될 것인지 그러므로써 우리가 보유하게 될 철도기술을 얼마나 활용할 수 있을지 등이 장기적인 안목으로써 충분히 고려되어야 할 것이다.

  • The domestic railway parts and equipment manufacturing industry is mainly focused on SMEs, and the majority of them are suffering from profitability because they cannot build economies of scale. Besides, they have survived in the form of importing technology products from overseas advanced countries and delivering them to domestic railway operators rather than having in-house technology. Therefore it is necessary to study whether the problems of the current railway industry can be identified and improved and at the same time, whether the government's railway industry development policy is properly reflected. literature studies related to technology commercialization, and conduct surveys of AHP questionnaires on the experts of the manufacturing industry of SMEs, academics / research institutes of the railway industry. After that, the Level 3 activation method AHP analysis was additionally performed on the important factors of Level 2 that have the highest importance and priority in Level 1. As a result of the AHP analysis, 'Technical Connectivity' was the most important method in the technical factor, and SME experts and academic and research institute experts were highly evaluated for 'commercialization ability' Competence in terms of importance. As for external support factors, it was analyzed that SME experts "support for manpower development" was important, while the other two group experts research and development support was important. In this study, the priority of the government support and policy priorities are suggested according to the capabilities of the railway manufacturing SMEs before the future R&D support.

  • The railway is an important industry which quickly, safely and accurately transports a great deal of people and goods compared to other methods of transportation. Because there is not enough manpower in this field, professional engineers are urgently demanded. Although there are many people who apply for the professional engineer examination, they do not know how and what to prepare for it. This paper has analyzed the pattern of questions in the examination for the last fifteen years and the tends of the examination and the subjects which have been taught in the railway related educational institutions for the last five years. It suggests the compulsory subjects for the qualification and an easy way to get it for those who prepare the examination for the based on this analysis.
