황비창천명 삼족오문(三足烏紋) 고려 동경에 새겨진 배의 국적

  • 2017년 5월 필자는 황비창천명 항해도문 고려 동경에 새겨진 배가 기존에 알려진 것과 달리 고려의 배가 아닐 가능성이 있음을 입증하였다. 황비창천명 항해도문 고려 동경의 원 도안은 북송대에 유래하여 금대에 크게 유행한 뒤 무역을 통해 고려에 유입되어 크게 유행하였다. 따라서 우리나라에서 출토된 황비창천명 항해도문 고려 동경은 중국에서 유래한 원도안을 모방하여 재주조, 변형, 재창조한 것이므로 뒷면에 새겨진 배는 고려의 배라기 보다는 중국의 배라고 보아야 한다는 것이다. 그러나 국립중앙박물관과 국립대구박물관에 소장된 삼족오문 고려 동경(덕수 4927; 덕3194)에 새겨진 배는 평면형 저판 및 선수미, 중첩된 삼판, 최상부 삼판에 보이는 가룡목의 흔적 등 여러 면에서 원양항해용 평저선형 고려선박으로 볼 수 있다. 흥미로운 사실은 황비창천명 항해도문 동경이 기원지인 중국에 비해 고려에서 널리 모방, 변형, 재창조되어 활발하게 주조 및 유통되었다는 점이다. 유리판(于力凡)의 견해를 받아들인다면, 황비창천명 항해도문 동경은 북송의 휘종(徽宗)(재위 1100-1125) 황제의 성덕(聖德)을 찬양(讚揚)할 목적으로 주조되었다. 그러나 이배근의 견해를 원용하면, 고려에서는 항해도문안을 태조 왕건의 조부인 작제건(作帝建)의 설화로 해석하여 태조 왕건을 룡손(龍孫)으로 지체를 높이기 위한 상징물로 활용했을 개연성이 있다. 이것이 황비창천명 항해도문 동경이, 북송과 금을 통해 유입되었음에도 불구하고, 고려에서 이를 모방 및 변형하고 독창적으로 재창조하여 널리 유통되게 된 사회문화적 배경이 되었을 수 있다. 이는 차후의 연구를 통해 밝혀내야 할 과제다.

  • A pen name Chuman(秋巒; a mountain of Fall), Jeong Ji-wun(1509-1561) is a famous person wrote "Cheonmyeong-Doseol" which made two men, Yi Hwang and Ki Dae-$s{\breve{u}}ng$ dispute Sachil-Nobyeon(traditional argument about heart/mind). But except this point, few people of nowadays know who Jeong Ji-wun was. Therefore this paper is made for understanding Jeong Ji-wun in the point of view in history of thought. "Cheonmyeong-Doseol" by Jeong Ji-wun had systemized traditional theory of Cheonil-Habil(sky and human are an organic body), through this theory, Jeong Ji-wun had taken an important role who developed the Neo-Confucian theory in the field of political thought at that time. All Neo-Confucian literati used the theory of heart/mind as a sole useful method in political field from after King Myeonjong and Seonjo. "Cheonmyeong-Doseol" by Jeong Ji-wun was a first step to this scene. Especially "Cheonmyeong-Doseol" was got famous by arguments of Yi Hwang and Ki $Dae-s{\breve{u}}ng$, great scholars in the history of Chosun Dynasty. They firstly developed Sachil-Nobyeon, Sandan(pure morality) comes from li, Chiljeong(emotions) comes from Ch'i, is it right or not? This argument with "Cheonmyeong-Doseol" raised up the level of Neo-Confucian theory at that time. Like this, "Cheonmyeong-Doseol" was on the first step for Neo-Confucian literati to study and develop their theory of political thought which covered politics in Chosun Dynasty.

Does the Layman Understand "the Whistling Sounds when Breathing out" as Real Wheezing? (일반인들은 숨쉴 때 "쌕쌕하는 소리"를 천명음으로 이해하는가?)

  • Background : Wheezing is an important clue in the diagnosis of asthma. Previously, a Korean National asthma survey used a written questionnaire, containing the question, "Have you ever experienced a breathing sound-like 'sack-sack' or a flute sound (the Korean description for wheezing) during the last 12 months?" The response to this question showed a large discrepancy between the prevalence of wheezing and physician diagnosed asthma. This might have resulted partly from a misunderstanding of the question, due to an inadequate description for wheezing. This study was aimed at finding how well the layman understands the term "wheezing" when described as a breathing sound-like 'sack-sack', a whistle or a flute. Subjects and method : Sixty subjects, without experience of wheezing(group I), and 45 subjects, with chronic cough alleging wheezing(group II), were recruited from the Hallym University's Sacred Heart Hospital, in Anyang, Korea. Four different breathing sounds; vesicular, wheezing, tracheobronchial and crackle, were played for the subjects, without any experience with wheezing, and they were asked "which sound is most like that you would imagine when asked about a breathing sound-like 'sack-sack', a whistle or a flute?" This was followed by replaying the true wheezing sound, and then a global assessment was requested for the concordance between the real wheezing sound and the imagined wheezing sound. The wheezing sound was played for those subjects alleging wheezing, and they were asked, "have you really experienced that sound". Results : Only 46.7% of group I answered correctly, with 13.3% choosing the vesicular sound, 16.7% the tracheobronchial sound, 5.0% the crackle and 18.3% failed to answer. The concordance between their imagined wheezing and the real sound was $69.3{\pm}22.4%(mean{\pm}S.D.)$. 77.8% of group II recognized the correct sound as the one they had experienced. Conclusions : Language is not sufficient to the layman for describing natural sounds, such as wheezing.

Increased vascular endothelial growth factor in children with acute Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia and wheezing (천명을 동반한 급성 Mycoplasma pneumoniae 폐렴에서 혈청 vascular endothelial growth factor의 증가)

  • Purpose : Although Mycoplasma pneumoniae (M. pneumoniae) infection can cause wheezing in non-asthmatic children, the mechanisms of this symptom remain unclear. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a major mediator of angiogenesis and vascular permeability, and is also known to be elevated in cases of chronic pulmonary disease such as asthma. We hypothesized that VEGF may increase in children with acute M. pneumoniae pneumonia and wheezing. Methods : Nine patients with clinical and laboratory evidence of acute M. pneumoniae pneumonia were enlisted from children admitted to Korea University Hospital. They had had more than one episode of wheezing during the illness, which was confirmed by a physician; they comprised the wheezer group. The individuals with M. pneumoniae pneumonia without wheezing were 63 in number, and they comprised the non-wheezer group. Patients with a history of asthma or who had received asthma medications were excluded. Serum concentrations of VEGF, total IgE, eosinophil cationic protein (ECP), and peripheral blood eosinophil counts were measured. Results : The serum VEGF concentrations were higher in the wheezer group ($mean{\pm}SD$; $650.2{\pm}417.9pg/mL$) than in the non-wheezer group ($376.5{\pm}356.2pg/mL$, P=0.049). M. pneumoniae antibody (1:1,380 vs. 1:596, P=0.048) and serum total IgE (591.8 IU/mL vs. 162.2 IU/mL, P=0.032) were higher in the wheezer group than in the non-wheezer group. There were no differences between the two groups in terms of serum ECP concentration or blood eosinophil count. Conclusion : In the presence of wheezing, serum VEGF concentrations were higher in the children with M. pneumoniae pneumonia. This finding suggests that VEGF may associate with wheeze-related symptoms in children with acute M. pneumoniae pneumonia.

Environmental Tobacco Smoking, Parental Allergy History and Pediatric Asthma and Wheezing (부모에 의한 간접흡연 및 부모의 알레르기성 질환력과 소아 천식과의 관계에 관한 연구)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to investigate whether joint effects between family allergy history and environmental tobacco smoke(ETS) by parents were associated with pediatric asthma and wheezing. Methods: The study objects of this study were 2301 element school students and their parents in an urban-rural areas of Gyeonggi-do. Pediatric asthma and wheezing were identified by measures of International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISAAC) questionnaires. We investigated history of parental allergy, ETS, and other socioeconomic status of both parent. Data were analyzed using logistic regression methods. Results: After adjusting other variables, children with maternal asthma history were more likely to be reported life time wheezing (OR: 3.79 95%CI:2.43-5.90), recent wheezing (OR:4.09 95%CI:2.28-7.38), and diagnostic asthma (OR:2.61 95%CI: 1.44-4.75). Paternal asthma history increasing risk of life time wheezing (OR 2.01 95%CI:1.19-3.38) and recent wheezing (OR:2.38 95%CI:1.24-4.56). Joint effect between parental allergy history and ETS significantly effected on child's life time wheezing and recent wheezing. The risks of life time wheezing (OR:2.47 95%CI:1.64-3.717) and recent wheezing (OR: 2.51 95%CI:1.34-4.69) were significantly higher than others without both factors. The risk of recent wheezing of children with maternal recent smoking and parental allergy history (OR:4.83 95%CI:1.89-12.33) was higher than their counterpart. Conclusions: The result of this study implies that children with family allergy history and passive smoking are more likely to be get asthma and wheezing than children with family allergy history and non-passive smoking. This study provide the object information to increase the efficiency of non-smoking campaign and education for decreasing pediatric asthma risk.

The Estimation Methods of Demand for Renewable Energy Workforce (주요 국가의 신재생에너지 분야 인력수요 전망체계)

  • 신 재생에너지 산업의 확대를 뒷받침하고 산업의 지속적인 성장을 달성하기 위해서는 지속적인 인력의 공급이 무엇보다 중요하다. 뿐만 아니라 신 재생에너지는 기존 에너지원과 다르게 자국 내에서 생산 및 소비가 함께 이루어진다. 따라서 신 재생에너지의 확대는 국가의 일자리 창출과 직접적으로 연관된다. 하지만 지금까지 국내에서는 신재생에너지 인력수요 전망을 위한 방법론 연구가 충분히 이루어 지고 있지 않은 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 인력수요 전망을 위한 연구를 실시한 호주와 미국 사례를 고찰하여, 국내 신 재생에너지 인력수요 전망을 위한 고려요인 및 전망 방법론 연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과 미국은 기존화석에너지와의 인력수요 차이를 고찰하는데 초점을 맞추어 분석을 실시하였다. 또한 호주는 시나리오 기법을 통하여 미래 신재생에너지 보급상황에 따라 달라 질 수 있는 인력의 수요를 예측 하였다. 두 국가의 경우 신 재생에너지 부문의 인력수요가 급격하게 증가할 것으로 보고 있다. 호주의 경우 2008년 기준으로 10천명이던 신 재생에너지 인력수요가 2020년 24천명~30천명으로 증가할 것으로 예상(연평균 16.7% 증가)하고 있다. 미국에서는 2007년 500천명의 신 재생에너지 산업 인력이 재직 중이며, 신 재생에너지 확대와 함께 2030년에는 7,300천명의 인력수요가 있을 것으로 분석하고 있다. 신재생에너지 인력수요에 대한 연구를 실시한 사례를 살펴보면 국가는 목적에 부합하는 기준을 바탕으로 연구를 수행하여 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 우리나라도 향후 신재생에너지 인력 증가에 대비하여 관련 인력양성 정책을 올바르게 세우기 위해서는 관련 연구가 뒷받침 되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. 해외 사례 고찰 내용을 바탕으로 향후 국내 신 재생에너지 인력 수요 예측 시 고려해야 할 요인들을 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있다. 먼저 인력수요의 예측을 위해서는 현실적인 신 재생에너지 성장 시나리오의 설정이 요구된다. 미국의 사례와 같이 신 재생에너지와 재생에너지의 인력수요 차이를 비교하는 것도 신 재생에너지 인력수요를 정량화 하는데 큰 도움이 될 수 있다. 또한 인력의 범위를 직종별, 학력별로 구체화 하려는 노력이 필요할 것이다. 마지막으로 신재생 인력수요 전망을 바탕으로 효과적인 인력양성 프로그램을 구체화 해야 할 것이다.

Forecasting of Foreign Tourism demand in Kyeongju (경주지역 외국인 관광수요 예측)

  • The study used a seasonal ARIMA model to forecast the number of tourists to Kyeongju foreign in a uni-variable time series. Time series monthly data for the investigation were collected ranging from 1995 to 2010. A total of 192 observations were used for data analysis. The date showed that a big difference existed between on-season and off-season of the number of foreign tourists in Kyeongju. In the forecast multiplicative seasonal ARIMA(1,1,0) $(4,0,0)_{12}$ model was found the most appropriate model. Results show that the number of tourists was 694 thousands in 2011, 715 thousands in 2012, 725 thousands in 2013, 738 thousands in 2014, and 884 thousands in 2015. It was suggested that the grasping of the Kyeongju forecast model was very important in respect of how experts in tourism development, policy makers or planners would establish marketing strategies to allocate services in Kyeongju as a tourist destination and provide tourism facilities efficiently.

Bronchoalveolar Cellularity and IL-8 Levels in Patients with Post-measles Wheezing (홍역 후 천명환아의 기도내 세포양상 및 IL-8치)

  • Purpose : This study was conducted to investigate the pulmonary cellular profiles and IL-8 levels in patients with post-measles wheezing. Methods : Twelve previously healthy infants with a minimum of three episodes of wheezing after measles pneumonia(Measles wheezing, median age, 1.3 years) were recruited by a retrospective examination of hospital records. They underwent bronchoalveolar lavage(BAL) with flexible bronchoscopy, and high-resolution computed tomography(HRCT) with a mean six(1-15) months interval. Comparisons were made with seven normal controls(Control, median age : 7.4 years). BAL cell counts and differentials were determined. IL-8 levels also were measured by ELISA. Results : The BAL cellular profiles were characterized by a significantly increased percentage of neutrophils in the Measles wheezing group(median 16.0%) compared to the control group(median 3.8 %)(P<0.01). IL-8 levels were markedly increased in the Measles wheezing group($mean{\pm}SD$, $512.7{\pm}324.0pg/mL$) compared to the control group($41.7{\pm}67.7pg/mL$)(P<0.01). Furthermore, IL-8 levels correlated significantly(r=0.816, P=0.001) with neutrophil percentages in BAL fluids in the Measles wheezing group. Abnormal HRCT findings were mosaic perfusion, bronchiectasis, bronchial wall thickening, and decreased vascularity. Conclusion : These results suggest that pulmonary neutrophils and IL-8 may play an important role in the pathogenesis of the post-measles wheezing.
