The Study In order to obtain images of overlap of the two iron cores in the spinal cord simple x-ray scan after surgery of patients with ulcer lateral sclerosis and a fractured backbone, the researcher conducted a subjective evaluation on five radiographers of the university hospital's imaging department for more than 10 years. The results of the experiment showed that the lateral shot of lateral scoliosis of the spinal cord was taken with the middle face of the IR plane, and then the X-ray tube angle was taken vertically with the vertical spinal column fan-tom position, resulting in two overlapping images and high scores in the subjective evaluation. In addition, lateral shots of the lumbar dislocation fractured lumbar vertebrae were taken with the forehead aligned with the center of the IR plane and then with the X-ray angle perpendicular to the fourth waistline and the angle of the spinal cord perpendicular to the fourth waistline, the image of the two iron cores could be obtained from the radiographer.

Deformed vertebrae by cold shock in Rhynchocypris oxycephalus were discovered. Deformity was externally noticed in the caudal penducle region of R. oxycephalus. Radiographic and histologic investigation confirmed the deformity. Especially, histological investigations provided the fact that extensive fusion between neighbouring vertebrae is caused by removal of endogeneous mineralized tissue. Deformed vertebrae appeared suggesting the direct evidence of vertebral fusion had arisen internally by cold shock in this species.

This study aims to examine whether the use of a spinal column thermal massage device for patients with muscle pain is effective in improving muscle pain, and to verify whether it is also effective in improving affective depression and stress. To this end, 16 study participants (male 31.25%) were treated with a thermal massage device during 5 sessions a week for 4 weeks and 40 minutes per session. According to the study results, the subjective pain level changed by a rate of VAS -46.32% and PDI -44.86%; a significant decrease was observed in, both, VAS and PDI. The depression and stress levels changed by a rate of BDI -21.84% and SRI -11.48%; a significant decrease was observed in, both, BDI and SRI. Therefore, the use of a thermal massage device to treat patients with muscle pain is expected to have a positive effect in improving not only subjective muscle pain, but also depression and stress.

A migraine was a headache disorder characterized by recurrent moderate to severe headaches. The diagnosis was based on clinical signs and symptoms. Medication, physical therapy, nerve block, and nerve stimulation could be applied for treatment. This report described a case of severe migraine without aura that lasted several weeks periodically in a 59-year-old woman. Periodic headache had lasted for more than 14 years, and although she took medicines and nerve blocks, severe pain (VAS 7) was persisted. We recommended her to use the thermo-spinal massage device (CGM MB-1401, CERAGEM Inc., Cheonan, South Korea) continuously three times a week applying in semi-automatic mode around the neck for 40 minutes. There was no change in the pain scale in the automatic mode for the first 4 weeks. Subsequently, the semi-automatic mode of the cervical area was treated for 2 weeks to relieve the pain scale, and it was confirmed that the relieved state maintained for 2 months. This case highlighted the importance in considering thermo-spinal massage devices for managing migraine without aura.

Therapeutic effect of temporomandibular joint postural training by functional cerebrospinal therapy (FCST) for the balance of the meridian and neurologic system was observed in a facial palsy case. An idiopathic facial palsy case of House-Brackmann grade V was managed with FCST, combined with acupuncture and postural training of the cervical and pelvic structures. Clinical outcome measurement was performed by House-Brackmann grade and Yanagihara's scale. The patient showed positive changes in the degree of palsy and subjective symptoms within one month. Further research on the effect of FCST is expected.

A 45 year old man was admitted for further examination of an abnormal shadow of the right posterior mediastinum. The patient suffered from dysesthesia in the right thoracic wall of dermatome T7. CT scan and MRI revealed that two separate tumors had developed in the right paravertebral area linked to the vertebral canal via an intervertebral foramina. One-stage removal of the tumors were performed safely through the right posterolateral thoracotomy following the resection of the rib head and vertebral pedicle. The tumors were confirmed as histologically neurilemomas. The postoperative course was uneventful.

목뼈는 척주 중에서 두개골과 등뼈(흉추) 사이의 부분으로 목 부분을 형성하는 뼈 구조물이다. 위치는 머리뼈(두개골) 밑에서부터 갈비뼈가 붙는 등뼈(흉추)의 윗부분까지를 이른다. 본 논문에서는 목을 구부려 턱이 가슴에 닿도록 하는 굽힘과, 목을 들어 천장을 보는 것처럼 자세를 취하는 폄에 대하여 각을 측정한다. 굽힘의 각도는 $45{\sim}50^{\circ}$가 기본이며 최대의 가동 범위는 $80{\sim}90^{\circ}$이다. 폄의 각도 또한 $40^{\circ}{\sim}50^{\circ}$가 기본이며 정상은 $70^{\circ}$로 제한된다. 굽힘과 폄의 각도가 기본에 못 미치거나 통증을 유발할 때에는 능동과 수동 돌림의 치료법으로 치료하도록 한다.

Objectives : The purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate the effect of Korean Medicine with Functional CerebroSpinal Therapy(FCST) on a tremor patient. Methods : A patient with tremor of one side was treated with herbal medication, acupuncture and FCST. The effect of treatment was evalutated by frequency of tremor. Results : After Korean medicine with FCST, symptoms were decreased and conditions were improved. Conculsions : The Korean medicine treatment with FCST might be effective for the tremor.
