A Study on the Influence of Young Entrepreneurs' Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial preparation upon the Entrepreneurial Performance: Centered on Mediated Effect of Entrepreneurial infra system using (기업가정신과 창업준비가 사업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 창업인프라 활용 매개효과 중심으로)

  • Younger starters to be ready on the entrepreneurial performance and raising and producing potential creative person who demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit are not only important factor for added value creation along with national growth but also economic development to join the ranks of advanced countries. Thereby, a lots of interests and supports are focused in entrepreneurship and the startup activities. However, to create business achievement, we should nurture successful entrepreneurship based on using infrastructure in entrepreneurial ecosystem induced by aggressive investments and supports of the policy. Therefore, this study is empirical test of 203 young CEO of techniques which possibly create added value and national development, inventive type in knowledge service and opportunity type. Research finding is that entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial preparation have meaningful effects on the performance and the ready state. Entrepreneurship has no direct effects on entrepreneurial infra system. Entrepreneurial preparation has meaningful effects on entrepreneurial infra system. We induced that it is hard to earn business achievement by only using entrepreneurial infra system in that entrepreneurial infra system has no effect on business achievement. Lastly, entrepreneurship infra system has no relationship as mediating effects with effects of entrepreneurship on business achievement in mediating effect test. While young CEOs with entrepreneurship create business achievement without using entrepreneurship infra, entrepreneurship infra has relationship as mediating effect with effect of entrepreneurial preparation on business achievement. Namely, we induced the result that using entrepreneurship infra aggressively improve achievement in entrepreneurial preparation. Through this study, we need entrepreneurship education for young CEOs and effort to develop entrepreneur's competence to improve achievement and we concluded that approaching systematically in entrepreneurial preparation and using various entrepreneurship infra aggressively are important factors to improve achievement.

AHP 기법을 활용한 창업 성장단계별 특허분석 요인 중요도 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 창업 성장단계별 특허분석 요인들의 중요도와 우선순위를 제시하였고, 구체적으로 창업준비기, 창업기, 성장기, 성숙기 창업 성장단계 기준으로 구분하여 가장 먼저 선행되어야 할 특허분석 요인을 AHP기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 상위요인의 중요도는 창업준비기(.633), 창업기(.231), 성장기/성숙기(0.136) 순으로 나타났다. 상위요인인 창업준비기의 하위요인 중요도는 환경분석(.593), 특허조사(.236), 특허분석(.171) 순으로 분석되었다. 창업기의 하위요인 중요도는 사업화전략(.415), R&D전략(.333), 보완출원전략(.138), 보유특허분석(.114) 순이고, 성장기/성숙기 하위요인 중요도는 후속IP창출(.337), 핵심특허 대응전략(.260), 후속R&D방향제시(.183), 특허인프라구축(.137), 라이센싱(매입)전략(.083) 순으로 나타났다. 전체 복합신뢰도 상위권 중요도 순위로는 1위 환경분석, 2위 특허조사, 3위 특허분석, 4위 사업화전략, 5위 R&D전략, 6위 후속 IP창출 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 창업을 준비하는 창업자에게 특허와 관련하여 단계별 집중해야 하는 요인의 중요도와 우선순위를 제시하고 더 생산적이고 효율적인 일들에 집중할 수 있는 가이드가 되기를 바란다.

창업을 위한 대학의 새로운 역할: WoW! Valley Model과 협업체계 구축 방안

  • 국내 대학은 연구 및 교육 기관으로서의 중요성과 함께 창업에 기여해야 할 사회적 책무를 지고 있다. 대학이 축적한 각종 지식 성과와 함께 연구와 개발 인프라를 활용하고 대학생 및 대학원생의 창의적 아이디어의 활용 가치를 높여 경제 활성화를 위한 새로운 성장 엔진을 개발해야 한다. 또한 창업연구와 창업지원 사업에 대한 사회적 요구에 맞추어 대학은 창업기능을 구조 혁신의 도구로 삼을 기회를 가지게 되었다는 점도 주목해야 한다. 본 연구는 한국 대학의 창업지원 기관의 역할 정립을 위한 학술적 지식을 되짚어 보고 창업을 중심으로 한 대학의 적극적인 창업지원단 구축 모델에 대한 논의를 담고 있다. 창업교육과 창업지원에 관한 기존의 연구와 2차 통계자료를 기반으로 창업지원 방향에 관한 시사점을 획득하고 대학 혁신을 위한 창업지원 모델인 WoW! Valley Model을 제안한다. 본 모형은 창업지원단의 역할 정립에 도움을 주고 대학 창업지원의 정책 수립의 기초를 제공할 것으로 본다. 국내외 경제 여건의 악화와 글로벌 경제 침체 속에서 창업의 사회적 중요성은 점차 커지고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 대학의 창업 활성화는 시대적 과제라 할 수 있다. 체계적인 창업 지원 정책을 대학이 주도하고 현실 학문적 성격을 강화하는 방향으로 체질을 개선하는 일이 시급하다. 본 연구는 대학의 창업지원단 활동의 새로운 모델을 제시하고 있다. 이미 국내의 많은 대학들이 창업지원을 위한 센터나 지원단을 운영하고 있으며 독자적인 체계를 갖추고 있다. 그러나 창업지원을 중심으로 대학의 기능을 재편하는 등의 혁신 체계로서의 창업지원단 운영 모델은 수립 및 시행된 경우가 드물다. 본 연구는 창업교육과 창업지원에 관한 기존의 연구 성과를 되짚어 보고 국내 대학의 창업지원을 위한 새로운 시각을 제시한다. 창업 지원단의 수립 및 운영 모형에 관한 논의가 절실한 시점에서 본 연구는 연구자와 대학 운영자 및 정책 입안자에게 의미 있는 시사점을 줄 것으로 기대한다. 한편, 본 연구는 개념적 디자인을 제시하는 수준이므로 디자인을 평가하여 새로운 지식을 얻는 등의 후속 과정을 거쳐 보완될 필요가 있다. 다중 사례 연구와 실행 연구(Action Research) 등의 실증 방법을 통해 본 연구의 후속 결과가 요구된다.

Status of Youth Entrepreneurship in Korea (국내 청년층의 창업인식 실태와 증대방안 - 청년층의 직업관을 중심으로)

  • The government has established a foundation activation measures across a total of 10 times to expanse job creation, promote new growth engines and enhance youth entrepreneurship for trying to spread socially. In order to improve startup activation policies and excavation, it is necessary to supplement the gaps going to construct a stable infrastructure through periodic status research on their occupational sense and entrepreneurship awareness. Since 2012, the government's has been surveyed to address the current understanding of the occupational sense and entrepreneurship awareness of population characteristics. Until 2013 only the youth were surveyed, recently from 2014 expanded its range to the public. This study laid the foundation for a more comprehensive set of analysis through which to learn and understand the differences between the status of each group for entrepreneurship awareness by utilizing survey data from the government. And this study was obtained from a survey of university students and the general public. A total of 3000 people nationwide survey was conducted about the entrepreneurship environment for start-ups and entrepreneurship awareness and success factors for a month. The University students survey result were classified according to the area, school and gender. And The general public survey was classified according to the area, the age and gender. Each response result indicates a significant difference between the students and the general public did not appear. But through this survey, This study would contribute the establishment of the national startup infrastructure.

A Study on Singapore Startup Ecosystem using Regional Transformation of Isenberg(2010) (싱가포르 창업생태계 연구: Isenberg(2010) 프레임워크의 지역적 변용을 통한 질적 연구를 중심으로)

  • With the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in sight, innovative business models utilizing new technologies are emerging, and startups are enjoying an abundance of opportunities based on the agility to respond to disruptive innovations and the opening to new technologies. However, what is most important in creating a sustainable start-up ecosystem is not the start-up itself, but the process of research-start-investment-investment-the leap to listing and big business-in order to build a virtuous circle of startups that leads to re-investment. To this end, the environment created in the hub area where start-ups were conducted is important, and these material and non-material environmental factors are described as being inclusive by the word "entrepreneurial ecosystem." This study aims to provide implications for Korea's entrepreneurial ecosystem through the study of the interaction of the elements that make up the start-up ecosystem and the relationship of ecosystem participants in Singapore. Singapore has been consistently mentioned as the top two Asian countries in assessing the start-up environment and business environment. In this process, six elements of the entrepreneurial ecosystem presented by Isenberg(2010)-policies, finance, culture, support, human resources, and market-are the best frameworks for analyzing entrepreneurial ecosystems in terms of well encompassing prior studies related to entrepreneurial ecosystem elements, and a model of regional transformation is formed focusing on some elements to suit Singapore, the target area of study. By considering that Singapore's political nature would inevitably have a huge impact on finance, Smart Nation policy was having an impact on university education related to entrepreneurship, and that the entrepreneurial networks and global connectivity formed within Singapore's start-up infrastructure had a significant impact on Singapore's start-up's performance, researches needed to look more at the factors of policy, culture and market. In addition, qualitative research of participants in the entrepreneurial ecosystem was essential to understand the internal interaction of the elements of the start-up ecosystem, so the semi-structured survey was conducted by visiting the site. As such, this study examined the status of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem based on qualitative research focused on policies, culture and market elements of Singapore's start-up ecosystem, and intended to provide implications for regulations related to start-ups, the role of universities and start-up infrastructure through comparison with Korea. This could contribute not only to the future research of the start-up ecosystem, but also to the creation of a start-up infrastructure, boosting the start-up ecosystem, and the establishment of the orientation of the start-up education in universities.

Global Revitalization Model for Smart IT Venture Ecosystem Using AHP Model (계층분석을 활용한 글로벌수준의 스마트 IT창업생태계 활성화 모형개발)

  • The paradigm of IT ecosystem has been rapidly changing into open ecosystem irrespective of the territory on which the device, software and contents are located. IT venture ecosystem which can compete and collaborate with the global companies is really needed because the global opportunity of IT venture company has been expanding. Research model based on PEST-SWOT-AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) model was employed to analyze the current status and problems of IT venture ecosystem in Korea. Survey was conducted with 20 experts who are involved in venture companies, university, R&D research institute, and investment companies as a working group supported by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE). The empirical result showed that global promotion of IT ventures, coexistence and development of large enterprises and ventures, revitalization of investment infrastructure, and building of smart venture ecosystem are derived to revitalize IT venture ecosystem and suggested global revitalization model for smart IT venture ecosystem.

Comparative Study of a Startup Ecosystem in Seoul, Korea and Chengdu, China (한국과 중국 청두의 창업생태계 비교에 관한 연구: 질적 연구를 중심으로)

  • While strong investments on startup and venture ecosystem prosper worldwide, growing interest on nurturing startup ecosystem in Korea is also on its way. However, korean entrepreneurial ecosystem currently results few successful business models with those continuous development of itself compared to the one in China, which is breeding more than 50% of unicorns internationally. Accordingly, this study examined how people in the venture ecosystem, especially in IT industry feel about themselves and startup itself and compared startup ecosystem in Seoul, Korea to the one in Chengdu, China considering each of economic, social and administrational environment. The study tried to provide an implication about the future orientation of Korea's starup and venture ecosystem to policy makers and the ones inside the environment to make a better one. Therefore, the study choose Seoul, Korea and Chengdu, China as geological specimens of startup ecosystem and conduct qualitative study by interviewing selected ones who work in startup incubator, accelerator specified to IT industry and started their own business in IT industry funded by startup reward program. The study categorize the result in social, economic, and administrative parts and screens whether the interviewees from both Korea and China have similar opinions toward each of questions and can be translated to have tendency or not in each part of study. According to the study, the national recognition of startup should be moved from means of maintenance such as restaurants, franchise business to IT startup especially based on software business for the sustainable flourish in Korean venture ecosystem. Investors including accelerator, Angel investors and VCs should be less risk-aversion and therefore prefer stake purchase to solely giving subsidies. The role of governors should be limited to be a middleman of the network, connecting each people in need inside the ecosystem and their reward program should focus on nurturing the growing ones, not just multiplying the numbers of startups to expand the size of entrepreneurial ecosystem. Since this study indicated that entire revision of startup ecosystem should be applied to make a better one, it could be used to design future entrepreneurial infrastructure and the ways of activating startup ecosystem elsewhere in Korea.

온라인 창업교육 플랫폼 구축을 통한 창업교육 고도화 방안

  • 최근 들어 대학 내 창업교육은 정부 및 공공, 지방자치단체 등의 관심과 지원으로 급격히 확산되고 있다. 교양 및 전공분야의 다양한 창업교육 강좌 및 창업 친화적 학사제도 등 인프라 및 환경적 요인도 충분해졌다고 할 수 있다. 하지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 아직까지 양질의 창업교육 콘텐츠 및 교수법, 교수 역량 활성화, 지역 및 대학 간 편차 해소 등 질적인 부분에 있어서는 새로운 변화와 보완이 필요하다고 할 수 있겠다. 이에 본 연구는 대학 내 교수자, 교직원, 학생들이 손쉽게 접근하고 활용할 수 있는 온라인 창업교육 플랫폼 구축을 통해 대학 창업교육의 질적 고도화 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 아울러 본 연구를 통해 수도권과 지역 대학 간 발생하고 있는 창업교육의 편차를 해소하고 질 좋은 창업교육 운영 및 콘텐츠 지원을 위한 체계적인 온라인 창업교육 시스템 구성 체계 및 기능, 활용방안, 기대효과 등을 제언하고자 한다. 본 연구는 대학에서 운영하고 있는 창업 교육 관리시스템을 개발하기 위해서 시스템 개발의 기본 방향을 설정하고, 그에 따른 정보화교육 관리시스템에 대한 준수하여야 할 기본 설계 방향을 설정할 것이다. 구조적 개발 방법론을 적용하여 시스템의 기능적 요구사항을 도출하고, 시스템 요구를 만족시킬 수 있도록 설정한 시스템의 주요 기능에 대하여 기술할 것이며, 개발해야 할 된 시스템의 구성도 및 시스템 운영 시 필요한 하드웨어 소프트웨어 제반 운영환경에 대하여 논의하고자 한다. 온라인 창업교육플랫폼을 개발함에 있어 가장 우선 검토해야 할 요건은 창업교육과정을 원하는 학생들과 교강사가 플랫폼에 간단하게 접근할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 또한 교 강사들이 언제든 플랫폼을 통하여 시스템에 접근하여 학생의 교육과정 내용과 진도사항, 창업 관련 자료에 대하여 제공 받을 수 있도록 하며, 학생들이 교강사에게 멘토링 받고 싶은 내용이 있다면 플랫폼을 통해 멘토링이 가능하여야 할 것이다. 본 연구를 통하여 개발하는 온라인 창업 교육 플랫폼은 관리자, 학생, 교강사 등 구성원들의 요구사항을 청취하고, 이들의 요구를 정확히 분석하여 구성원들의 불편함을 해소할 수 있도록 개발하고자 한다. 플랫폼의 구성요소는 첫째, 온라인 창업 교육 플랫폼은 온라인 기반으로 구성하여 교강사와 학생들이 교육의 효율성을 위하여 공동으로 사용할 수 있는 사이트 공간을 제공할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 온라인 창업 교육 플랫폼의 주된 이용자는 창업 교육을 받는 학생과 창업교육을 하는 교 강사도 이를 관리하기 위한 전체 및 지역별 운영관리자도 존재해야 할 것이다. 셋째, 창업교육에 참여하 학생 및 교강사들의 컴퓨터 활용도의 차이가 있을 수 있을 것이다. 플랫폼은 비주얼하게 개발하여 학생 및 교강사가 쉽고, 부담 없이 접근할 수 있는 이용자 인터페이스를 채택해야 하며, 아울러 이해하기 쉬운 메뉴와 간결하게 구현해서 제공할 필요가 있으며, 이것은 온라인 창업교육 플랫폼 사용의 효율성을 제공하는 것이다. 학생들에게는 플랫폼 통하여 자신들의 창업 능력을 배양하여 학습에 도움이 되어야 하며, 교강사에게는 언제든 실시간으로 최신의 정보를 제공함으로써 플랫폼에 대한 신뢰성이 확보 될 수 있도록 설계 되어야만 창업교육의 효과를 극대화 할 수 있으며, 대학 등에서는 보다 안정적인 학생 관리에 최선을 다 할 수 있을 것이다.

Perception of Entrepreneurs on the Startup Ecosystem in the Daegu (대구지역 창업생태계에 대한 창업자들의 인식)

  • The main point related to the entrepreneurial ecosystem is that in an environment where a good entrepreneurial ecosystem has been established, startup companies can generate good results. From this perspective, this study examined the perception of entrepreneurs regarding the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Daegu by conducting an analysis of importance and satisfaction towards the Daegu entrepreneurial ecosystem, using the results of the Innovation Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Establishment and Operation Project of the Daegu Creative Economy Innovation Center, which is a key member of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The analysis results showed that the importance and satisfaction of the entrepreneurial infrastructure were classified as high, while the importance and satisfaction of finance (investment and support) and securing human resources were shown to be low. Based on the results of this study, we confirmed the perception of entrepreneurs regarding the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Daegu and provided implications for improving the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem and policy directions.

Explanatory Study on Online Shopping Mall Startup by Young Entrepreneurs (청년자영업자의 온라인쇼핑몰 창업에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is by using the Grounded Theory method to examine the process of starting a business in an online shopping mall for young self-employed people with experience in using Company N's Partner Square (Gwangju), a startup infrastructure institution. In this study, in-depth interview survey data were used, and theoretical sampling method was used in the selection of study participants. After proceeding in the order of open coding, axis coding, and selective coding suggested by Strauss & Corbin, it was analyzed with a paradigm model. The main research results are as follows. First, even when parents were unaware about online shopping malls or had a negative mindset about it, but they had a positive mindset about their children's start-ups, it was found that their children tended to start online shopping mall businesses. However, if parents had a negative mindset about online shopping malls and about their children's start-up, then the child could not start an online shopping mall business. Second, it was found that the ability to use online shopping malls is important as a condition for entrepreneurship and achievement in online shopping malls for young people. In particular, Partner Square (Gwangju) was found to increase the ability to use online shopping malls and positively influence startups in online shopping malls. Third, it was found that young people have increased their self-esteem, discovering opportunities, and reinforcing their creativity, in addition to simply increasing their sales after starting the online shopping mall.
