The Relative Influence of Social and Psychological Factors on Life Satisfaction : Comparison of Entrepreneur and Paid employee (삶의 만족도에 대한 사회적, 심리적 요인의 상대적 영향력에 관한 연구 :창업자와 임금근로자 비교를 중심으로)

  • It is about the study of life satisfaction with type of employment(entrepreneur/paid employee), social factor(social capital), and psychological factor(self efficacy) in Seoul. The empirical results using Seoul Welfare Panel showed that psychological factor was the most powerful, and economic (household income levels) and social factor were in order. Type of employment was also significantly affected on life satisfaction, and paid employee's life satisfaction was higher than entrepreneur's one. In case of paid employee, psychological(self-efficacy) and social(norms, informal networks of participation, non-profit trust) factor in addition to the economic factor were significantly. In case of entrepreneur, economic and psychological factor and only norm among social factors were significant. Finally, The implications for politicians and local public officials were reported.

Study on the Factors Affecting the Intention to Participate in the Boycott: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Anger and the Moderating Effect of Online and SNS News Usage (불매운동 참여의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 분노의 매개효과와 온라인 및 SNS 뉴스이용의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The boycott of Japanese products triggered by Japan's economic retaliation has heated up the Republic of Korea. This study examined the factors affecting the boycott participation intention in 217 college students and ordinary people in their 20s and 30s. The results of the study showed that perceived egregiousness, self-efficacy, and subjective norm had a positive effect on boycott participation intention, and perceived egregiousness had an indirect effect on boycott participation intention through anger. In addition, these overall impacts were moderated by online and SNS news usage. This study is significant in providing academic and practical implications for understanding boycott phenomena by verifying various influencing factors on consumer boycott intentions and comprehensively reviewing the mediating effect of anger and the moderating effect of online and SNS news usage.

  • 세계적인 석학 피터 드러커는 우리나라를 기업가정신이 가장 왕성한 나라라고 칭찬한 바 있다. 하지만 국민소득 2만달러의 목전에서 겪은 외환위기, 내수침체, 청년실업난 등으로 10여 년 간 제자리걸음하고 있는 지금, 그 말이 참 무색하게 다가온다. 이 악순환의 고리를 끊기 위해 우리 경제 활성화의 견인차로 다시 벤처가 나섰다. 지금이야말로 우리 벤처인들이 위험을 무릅쓰고 포착한 기회를 사업화하려는 모험과 도전의 기업가정신으로 재무장하여야 할 때이다. 기업가정신은 돈을 벌기 위한 정신이 아니다. 주위 사람과 공동체를 중시 여겨 자기희생을 감수하는 결단이고, 상상하기 어려운 힘든 역경 속에서도 좌절하지 않고 죽을 힘을 다하는 도전이며, 탄탄대로를 거부하고 비바람 부는 날 풀이 무성한 인적 드문 길을 선택하는 모험이다. ‘자본이 없어서, 기술이 없어서, 인재가 없어서’일을 못하겠다고 조건을 탓하거나 주저하지 말자. “신에게는 아직 12척의 배가 있사옵니다”라며 백의종군하여 병사도, 배도, 무기도, 군량미도 없이 홀몸으로 대함대와 맞서 찬란한 승리를 거둔 이순신 장군을 되새겨보라. 우리 벤처인에겐 아직 혁신과 도전과 모험정신이라는 기업가정신이 있지 않은가. 하늘에 온통 구름이 끼여있고 천둥번개가 내리쳐도 여전히 구름 뒤에는 밝은 태양이 빛나고 있다. 우리 벤처인이 기업가정신을 놓지않고 이상을 위해 도전한다면, 곧 구름 뒤 태양은 모습을 드러내고, 그대 벤처인을 향해 찬란히 빛날 것이다. 벤처인이여! 벤처 재도약의 동력이 될 기업가정신으로 재무장하고, 두 발로 땅을 박차고 일어나 구름 위 이상을 향해 힘차게 도약하자.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the ideas of dental hygiene education programs between Korea and America. The America dental hygiene education program aimed at development capacity such as comprehensive dental hygiene care, critical thinking and problem solving, self-assessment skill to prepare for and engage in life-long learning, effective interpersonal and communication skill which evidence-based approach to dental hygiene process.

The Clinical Competence and Related Factors of the Nursing Students: Focused on the Subjects who studied Problem-Based Learning (간호학생의 임상수행능력과 관련요인 -문제중심학습을 한 대상자를 중심으로-)

  • Purpose: This study was to evaluate clinical competence in relation to self-directed learning, critical thinking disposition, and participating in PBL(Problem-Based Learning) group activities of nursing students. Methods: Data were collected from 108 nursing students in Oct. 2006. Results: Clinical competence had a significant positive correlation with self-directed learning, critical thinking disposition, and participation in PBL group activities. There was a significant difference in clinical competence according to interpersonal relationship. Participation in PBL group activities was the most influential factor of clinical competence($R^2$=.34). Also, the influence of clinical competence increased with the addition of self-directed learning($R^2$=.42). Conclusion: It is essential to encourage the self-directed learning and participation in PBL group activities for the improvement of clinical competence. It is relatively important for clinical competence to consider the educational environment systematically.

  • 최근 모바일 기기의 활성화에 따라 M-learning (Mobile learning)이 활성화되고 있다. M-learning을 기반으로 한 코스웨어나 모듈 설계 시 학습자의 적극적 참여와 의미 있는 상호작용의 기회 제공과 실제적 환경에서의 교육활동을 지원하는 것에 초점을 맞추어야 한다. 근접발달영역이론 (Zone of Proximal Development : ZPD)이란 독자적으로 문제를 해결함으로써 결정되는 실제적 발달수준과 성인의 안내나 보다 능력 있는 또래들과 협동하여 문제를 해결함으로써 결정되는 잠재적 발달수준간의 거리이다. 한편, 스캐폴딩은 학습자의 근접발달영역을 변화시키며, 학습자가 스스로 학습할 수 있도록 도와주는 구체적인 방식이라 할 수 있다. 또한 스캐폴딩 (Scaffolding)은 학습자가 구조를 조직하고 새로운 지식을 구성하도록 교수자 또는 촉진자가 도와주면서 교수자와 학습자간에 상호작용하는 과정이다. 본 연구에서는 근접발달영역이론을 이용하여 모바일로 교사가 학습자에게 스캐폴딩을 제공하는 수업모형을 제안한다. 본 모형의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문제해결을 위한 스캐폴딩만이 아니라 문제 해결 후 격려 스캐폴딩을 제공하여 학습력 강화가 이뤄지도록 하였다. 둘째, 교사와 학습자 사이에 다양한 스캐폴딩을 제공하여 상호작용을 강화하였다. 셋째, 자신에게 맞는 개별학습, 반복 학습이 가능하고 자기 주도적 학습이 강화되도록 하였다.

Effects of a Winter Training Camp on Physical Fitness, Physical Self Efficacy and Nutrients Intake in Juvenile Taekwondo Players (청소년 태권도 선수들의 동계훈련 캠프 참여가 체력, 신체적 자기효능감 및 영양섭취에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a winter training camp on physical fitness, physical self-efficacy and nutrients intake in juvenile Taekwondo players. Sixty three subjects of male middle school student Taekwondo players participated in this study. Before and after attending Taekwondo winter training camp, Taekwondo related fitness and physical self efficacy and nutrients intake of subjects were measured and compared. The results of this study were as follows: 1) There were significantly improvements (p<0.001) in 1200m run, sit up, push up. 2) There was no significantly change in physical self efficacy. 3) There were significantly increase intakes (p<0.001) in total calorie, protein, fat, fiber, Ca, P, K, vitamin A, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, niacin, vitamin C and vitamin E. However, index of nutritional quality in fiber, Ca, K, vitamin A had not good assessment. These results suggested that a winter training seems necessary to keep psychological management and scientific dietary management as well as physical training in juvenile Taekwondo players.

  • In the post-pandemic era, colleges and students keep passion for learning online sine its unique advantages. This study explores how students' basic psychological needs drawn from self-determination theory, connect to interaction, and learning engagement in the context of online learning. While prior research explored students' intentions, digital interactions, and engagement in online learning, this study aims to come up with a united conceptual model drawing the three basic psychological needs and interaction and their effects on learning engagement. 178 response data collected through a questionnaire survey, were analyzed using PLS-SEM. Findings indicate that online learning interaction enhances intrinsic motivation, leading to higher learning engagement. Autonomy emerges as the most influential psychological need on learning engagement. This study integrates self-determination theory with online learning interactions and engagement and offers practical insights. Future research should examine long-term outcomes and diverse student populations.

The Participation Effect of Study Abroad Program: Mixed Methods Research on College Students' Career Decision Self-efficacy (해외 교환학생 프로그램의 참여 효과 : 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감에 대한 혼합방법연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine study abroad participation and its relationship with career decision self-efficacy. It also aims to explore the explanatory factors for this relationship using mixed methods. Data were collected from 258 study abroad participants using pre- and post-test surveys at the A university. Subsequently, qualitative interviews with 16 participants were conducted to explain quantitative results. Findings showed that the career-related achievement goal and participants' interactions with local students played an important role in participants' career development. On the other hand, the group of participants whose career decision self-efficacy decreased after participation were also identified. This finding can be understood from the qualitative finding that participants bounced back to their previous career plans after return, re-experiencing the barrier of reality in finding a job in the Korean society. This is different from the circumstances in a destination country they studied abroad in. In addition, the quantitative finding can be understood from the qualitative finding that some students decided to participate in study abroad program simply for vacation and international experiences, without trying to relate it to career exploration. Based on findings from this study, implications for higher education institutions running a study abroad program were discussed and suggestions for future research were provided.

The Effects of Environmental Education Program using Action Learning on the Environmental Literacy and Self-efficacy of Elementary Students (액션러닝을 활용한 환경교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 환경소양과 자기효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to investigate the effect of environmental education programs using action learning on elementary school students' environmental literacy and self-efficacy. To this end, an environmental education program using action learning was applied to 22 sixth graders of 'A' Elementary School in Busan. The results of this study were as follows. First, environmental education programs using action learning were effective in improving the environmental literacy of elementary school students. After implementing the environmental education program using action learning, students' environmental values, cognitive, and procedural ability changed positively. Environmental issues awareness and ecological knowledge improved, and there was a significant increase in environmental behavior and environmental function. Second, environmental education programs using action learning were effective in enhancing the self-efficacy of elementary school students. After implementing environmental education programs using action learning, students' confidence in problem solving and their ability to judge their behaviors improved. Third, elementary school students showed active participation and interest when conducting environmental education programs using action learning. Students have become open to protecting the environment when they find problems, devise solutions, and practice them. After reflection, it was confirmed that students' immersion and satisfaction in class were high as a solution was reached, leading to efforts to sell items they did not use and donate profits to environmental protection organizations.
