(Group Digital Surveillance System for Fishery Safety and Security, GDSS- F2S)은 대단위 양식장에 침입하는 도적을 방어하기 위하여 레이더 추적정보와 적아식별 정보를 제공하는 시스템이다.

  • This research explored the clothing behavior of dementia inpatient according to the dementia severity, dementia type and demographic characteristics. Data were collected by surveying 149 dementia inpatients and their caregivers. The collected data were analysed through frequency analysis, $X^2$-test, one way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test and t-test. The results were as follows: First, the dementia severity was classified into the severe, moderate and mild dementia by K-MMSE and the dementia types were composed of Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia and the others. The severe dementia group and Alzheimer's disease group included the more aged and more female inpatients. And the severe dementia group was lower self-support of the basic activities of daily living than the mild dementia group. Second, the change motions of the dementia inpatient's clothing differed from the clothing item and dementia severity. That is, the motions for pants were more difficult than those for upper garment. And the motions for severe dementia group were more difficult than those for the mild dementia group. Third, there were significant differences among the three groups by dementia severity and between the male and female dementia inpatient in the clothing behavior. Most of abnormal clothing behaviors were found in the severe dementia group. The positive clothing behaviors appeared in the mild dementia group. And interests of clothing and appearance appeared in the female inpatients.

  • The study investigates the clothes-wearing behaviors of female college students based on differences in indoor heating systems and cold sensitivity. The respondents included a total of 281 female college students living in South Korea and China. Data were analyzed through an ANOVA and, a paired t-test based on SPSS 21.0. Korean students were less dependent on winter clothing than Chinese students for the whole body parts except for the trunk. Korean students were more likely to feel coldness more but wore less clothing. Korean students' clothes-wearing behaviors with respect to coldness depended on the indoor heating system. Korean students tended to buy warmer clothing, although they preferred not to wear undergarments and tended to wear and to wear less winter clothing. Chinese students showed more active clothes-wearing behaviors to keep their feet warm. Finally, groups divided by indoor heating systems and cold sensitivity showed different clothes-wearing behaviors in comparison to those groups based only on indoor heating systems. Even in similar weather conditions, clothes-wearing behaviors for cold adaptation depended on the indoor heating systems and cold sensitivity. The results suggest that this perspective should be taken into consideration when evaluating clothes-wearing behaviors of certain groups or individuals.

  • This study aimed to provide the information on the thermal sensation and the amount of clothing worn of junior high school students in winter classroom the relation with their climate adaptability. Total usable questionnaires were obtained from 467 male and female students. The questionnaire included general characteristics, physical characteristics, self awareness of body shape, climate adaptability and subjective thermal sensation in winter classroom. The data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 18.0 for frequency analysis, factor analysis, chi-square analysis, t-test and correlation analysis. The results were as follows. The average body type based on BMI was normal($20.1kg/m^2$ ). Females perceived their body type as thinner than males. They wore more (8.67 garment items compared to 8.14 for males). Only about 25% of students voted the thermal sensation to neutral(47% cool~very cold, 28% warm~very hot). Females were more sensitive to the cold, perceived less healthy, and wore more garments in the cold. Students felt colder in winter classroom when their cold adaptability was lower and they actively adjusted thermal insulation against the cold. It is recommended to suggest the guidelines for the proper indoor temperature and for the wear behavior in classroom in the perspectives of increasing the learning efficiency and improving the students' climate adaptability.

  • The intent of this study was to determine whether different light exposure could modify the clothing behavior in the evening cold environment or not. Nine female subjects volunteered to this study. In a bright light or a dim light condition, light intensity was controlled 3000 lx or 10 lx respectively. Subjects were introduced to wear various kinds of garments whenever they need to feel comfortable as the room temperature began to decrease. The room temperature was lowered from $30^{\circ}C$ to $15^{\circ}C$ for one hour (21:00 h~22:00 h) and maintained at $15^{\circ}C$ for additional one hour (22:00 h~23:00 h). Subjects stayed in chamber from 08:00 to the next day 07:00. Clothing behavior, core temperature, subjective temperature sensation and melatonin secretion were measured. Most subjects put on the clothing more quickly and more thickerly in the bright light rather than in the dim light condition. The fall of core temperature during night was significantly less under the bright light in the late afternoon, suggesting that the set-point of core temperature has been set at a higher level during the evening and the night, being supported by the less amount of melatonin secretion. Thus, it is concluded that the quicker dressing behavior with thicker clothing in the "Bright" condition is advantageous in evening cold exposure, since it enables the core temperature to reach its set-point value more easily.

  • Thanks to various efforts to reduce disasters by the government and the Health and Safety Authority, disasters across industries and the construction industry show their reduction trend. However, the falling disasters in the construction industry have not decreased and increased on the contrary. Especially falling disaster caused by Hanging Scaffolding is the most critical disaster which shows low occurrence frequency but is directly connected to death of worker. The working environment for Hanging Scaffolding is poor in domestic construction site. In particular, the Hanging Scaffolding workers in small construction sites are not on the safety control and management by anyone for their works. They are driven to unsafe working condition with mostly uncertified facilities which are made by themselves. Therefore, this study is focused on searching falling disaster factors from the 242 disaster cases caused by Hanging Scaffolding Work in 15 years presented by KOSHA, and trying to provide suggestions for improvement. The improvement of the method of work requires facility improvement and work due to high accident rate caused by unsafe behavior. Analysis of the case of a disaster occurring over the past 15 years shows that no disaster occurred due to problems in the order of operations presented by KOSHA. However, it was found that many accidents resulted from death caused by safety belts not being installed or attached to ropes using safety belts without following the order of work. The most important aspect of improving the work method was the installation and wearing of lifeboats and safety belts.
