Most public libraries construct and operate their websites to provide the various user groups in local communities with internet access in Korea. But the representative public library's websites designed for children who are going to lead the next generation information based society, are unsatisfactory and don't reflect their approaches to information. The main factors of content and circumstance of usage are also extremely poor. Therefore, this research analyzed the construction of websites for children, their interface and design, search services, the contents of provincial representative public libraries amongst public libraries in korea and suggested improvement schemes.

This paper starts by describing the wireless internet service as a new function in the internet age. It then discusses the usefulness of wireless internet for improveing library information service. Recently the use of wireless internet service, as a major internet service in the future, has been rapidly increased because it can be provided various type of information using individual's cellulasphone without the time and space restrictions. Therefore, wireless internet service will be of great use for decentralization and rapidness of library function as well as improvement of user service by providing various interface of information retrieval.

In Web2.0 environment, with advanced platform technologies, global vendors such as Google, Microsoft and Yahoo provide competitive geospatial services based on global map and satellite image. But the relatively low level of platform technologies has not rapidly increased the land information and geospatial service markets in Korea. For the ubiquitous next generation Internet, as a one of the R&D projects by Korean Land Spatialization Group, the project for platform technologies has being made to provide customized land information and geospatial service. The platform technologies can be categorized for streamming, mashup and geosearch. More specifically, the 2D/3D Hybird streamming engine, mashup engine for u-GIS service and next generation search engine for land information have being developed. In this context, the strategies for efficient development and use of geoweb platform technologies are required. This study surveys the present geospatial products and services using of platform technologies to propose the strategies for efficient development and use of platform technologies. The strategies for efficient development and use of platform technologies can be proposed focusing on target market and each of platform technologies.

유비쿼터스시대에 발맞추어 사용자가 언제 어디서나 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 컴퓨팅 환경의 제공이 가능해졌고 이에 따라 차세대 컴퓨팅으로서 휴대형 PC가 실용화될 전망이다. 차세대 휴대형 PC에서는 지금까지의 시각, 청각에 의한 인터페이스 외에도 촉각, 후각, 미각과 같은 인간의 오감을 통한 실감형 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 인터페이스가 등장할 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사용자 중심의 실감형 인터페이스를 구현하기 위하여 다른 삼감 즉 촉각, 후각, 미각 가운데에서 후각에 대하여 이를 어떻게 부호화 할 것이며 또한 MPEG7 기반에서 XML로 기술하는 방법과 활용문제에 대해 기술한다. 본 논문에서는 인간의 오감 가운데 기억과 밀접한 관계가 있는 후각정보를 기반으로 이를 표현, 재생, 검색할 수 있는 방법에 관하여 기술한다.

오늘날 웹의 사용자와 컨텐츠가 급격히 증가함에 따라 지능적 정보시스템과 웹 서비스(Web Service) 개념이 여러 분야에서 활발히 연구되고 있으며, 사용자에게 의미 정보를 제공하기 위한 시맨틱 웹서비스의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 시맨틱 웹 서비스를 위한 FXDB (FUZZY XML DATABASE) 시스템 설계 기법과 의미정보(Semantic Information)를 자동으로 실시간 웹 서비스 할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 FXDB 시스템은 XML 기술과 퍼지기술을 이용하여 웹상의 메타데이타를 데이터베이스에서 의미적으로 자동해석하고 XML 기반 웹 서비스할 수 있는 시스템 구조를 제안한다. 따라서 시맨틱 웹 환경을 위한 메타데이타의 해석을 좀 더 자동화, 지능화 할 수 있는 차세대 웹을 구현하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다. 또한 웹 사용자의 입장에서는 의미정보에 따른 빠른 의사결정과 시맨틱 웹 정보검색이 가능하게 될 것이다.

차세대 멀티미디어 휴대 단말인 핸디콤비는 "핸드헬드 콤비스테이션(Handheld ComBiStation)"의 약자로서 인터넷상에서 다양한 멀티미디어 응용서비스를 어디서든지 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 휴대형 컴퓨터 비서이다. 음성인식 처리나 멀티미디어 데이터 저장, 검색 등과 같이 복잡한 계산이나 방대한 양의 정보 저장과 처리는 서버의 도움을 받아 다양한 멀티미디어 응용 프로그램을 핸디콤비에서 이용할 수 있으며, 한글-영문문자 인식과 펜 제스처 등과 같은 지능형 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하여 사용자들에게 최대의 편의성을 제공한다.

인터넷은 전세계를 대상으로 구축된 네트워크로서 개방형 구조의 프로토콜을 사용하므로 대부분의 호스트 컴퓨터 시스템들은 정보보안에 취약한 상태이다. 이와 같은 보안 취약성으로 인해 상용화 서비스에 대한 교환 정보의 수정, 검색, 파괴 등의 역기능이 발생하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 기존의 보안 방식 정책으로는 인터넷 보안의 역기능에 대한 완벽한 대책이 될 수 없으므로 이에 따른 보안정책 크로스 연동 메커니즘을 설계하여, 기존의 방식과 비교 분석해서 앞으로의 차세대 인터넷에 적합한 연동메커니즘을 제안하고자 한다.

대화형 멀티미디어 서비스를 위한 차세대 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 국제 표준 규격인 MPEC-4에서는 저작된 콘텐츠를 저장하기 위한 포맷으로 XMT (extensible MPEG-4 Textual format)와 MPEG-4 파일 포맷 (MP4)를 제공하고 있다. XMT와 MP4는 각각 텍스트 형식과 이진 형식이며 각기 장단점을 가지고 있으므로, 콘텐츠의 효율적인 저작, 관리 및 스트리밍을 위해서는 두 포맷간의 상호 변환을 수행할 구 있는 컨버터가 필요하다. 또한 나날이 콘텐츠의 종류와 수가 증가됨에 따라 MPEG-4 콘텐츠의 용이한 검색도 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 MPEG-4에 기반을 둔 대화형 콘텐츠를 저작하고 검색하기 위한 XMT-A to/from MP4 컨버터를 설계하고 구현하였다.

UMTS(Universal Mobile Telecommunication System)는 시간, 위치 및 단말기의 종류와 독립적으로 모든 사용자에게 동일한 서비스를 공급하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해서는 현재 사용자가 사용하고 있는 단말기의 종류나 사용자 위치에 독립적인 연결 설정과, 서비스 로밍(service roaming)의 기술이 필요하다. UMTS를 포함한 차세대 통신망에서 가장 중요한 개념은 서비스 로밍을 가능하게 해주는 VHE이다. VHE는 사용자에게 시간과 공간에 독립적인 일관적인 서비스를 제공하는 것이지만, 아직까지는 서로 다른 망을 연동 하는데 있어서 많은 문제점이 해결되지 않은 상황이다. 기존의 전화망과 인터넷망을 통합시켜주는 JAIN 기반 위에, Mobile Agent Technology(MAT)를 이용해서 기존환경의 문제점을 극복하고, 새로운 형태의 서비스를 창출할 수가 있다. 이 논문에서는 MAT를 기반으로 하여 이동 환경을 고려한 효율적인 정보검색 시나리오를 설계하고 그 시나리오를 제시한다.

The field of the web service orchestration introduced to generate a valuable service by reusing single services. Recently, it suggests rule-based searching and composition by the AI (Artificial Intelligence) instead of simple searching or orchestration based on the IOPE(Input, Output, Precondition, Effect) to implement the Semantic web as the web service of the next generation. It introduce a AOP programming paradigm from existing object-oriented programming paradigm for more efficient modularization of software. In this paper, we design a dynamic web service orchestration and invocation scheme applying Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) and Reflection for Semantic web. The proposed scheme makes use of the Reflection technique to gather dynamically meta data and generates byte code by AOP to compose dynamically web services. As well as, our scheme shows how to execute composed web services through dynamic proxy objects generated by the Reflection. For performance evaluation of the proposed scheme, we experiment on search performance of composed web services with respect to business logic layer and user view layer.
