A study of design mechanism for the alerting car accident (차량 사고 위험인지를 위한 방안 설계연구)

  • By mobile technique and vehicle industry development, vehicle service industry based on Intelligent network as telematics service will be more raised. Most of countries expect its industrial market so that many researches and standardization are being advanced. For the telematics service, the vehicle safety technique will be very important so that its research should be expected. Hence, in this paper, we propose a design mechanism for the alerting car accident to identify or avoid dangerous accident by the network of cars.

  • AVM(Around View Monitoring) 시스템은 차량 주변에 대한 영상을 운전자에게 제공함으로써 안전 운전을 도와주는 시스템이다. 측면 거울이나 실내 거울을 통해서 볼 수 없는 사각 지대는 운전자의 안전 운행에 위협이 된다. 사각지대는 특히 후진 주행, 주차, 좁은 골목길 주행, 굽은 길 회전 등에서 차량 파손 및 인사 사고의 원인이 된다. 이러한 위험을 피하기 위해 후방의 장애물을 감지하는 후방 센서나 후방 카메라 등과 같은 운전자의 시야를 개선하는 ECU들이 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 이러한 ECU들의 도움을 받더라도 차량의 전, 후, 좌, 우 사방의 상황을 동시에 볼 수 없기 때문에 사고를 피하기 위해 운전자들은 주의를 기울여 운전해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 운전자의 안전 운행을 돕기 위해 차량 주변 영상을 실시간으로 제공하는 4SM 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 4SM 시스템은 차량의 전, 후, 좌, 우에 장착된 4대의 카메라로부터 입력된 영상을 통합하여 Bird's Eye View 영상을 운전자가 한 눈에 차량 주변 상황을 인식할 수 있도록 한다.

  • The purpose of this paper is developing a PML server which is capable of saving and managing effectively the information of vehicles using RFID technology in the logistical and distributive environment. The PML server logs and manages the real-time static and dynamic information about the vehicles in EPC code format which is represented by XML schema and transmitted by the RFID reader to the server. It receives information from SAVANT the RFID middleware and transmits the data to the traffic information management application The main system we developed consists of the EPC data registry, query processor, data converter, vehicle product and instance data storage, system management tool and application API parts.

  • In Korea, an intelligent transportation system(ITS) is established to efficiently operate traffic congestion on roads and is being used for traffic information collection and speed control systems. Currently, designated and dedicated lanes are in place to ensure traffic circulation and traffic safety, and systematic and accurate illegal vehicle crackdown systems with artificial intelligence technology are needed. In this study, we propose a vehicle number recognition model that can improve the efficiency of the traffic of designated vehicles. By applying computer vision technology, we are going to identify three-lane and four-lane multi-lane roads in real time and detect vehicle numbers by car to suggest ways to crack down on vehicles that violate the designated lane system.

  • To improve the performance of self-driving cars, the introduction of V2X, a communication technology that connects vehicles, infrastructure, and vehicles, is essential. Even if traffic information of the other vehicle is known, the structure of the intersection and a distance calculation algorithm are required for accurate calculations at roundabouts. This paper proposes a design algorithm for a rotating intersection and implemented in Matlab that complies with the national design rules and enables accurate calculations. Assuming the roundabout and the entrance/exit path to be a circle, a method for measuring the distance between vehicles at an arbitrary point was proposed using the horizontal shift of the entrance circle to the main circle. The algorithm could be used in fully autonomous vehicles by designing a roundabout suitable for the terrain by arbitrarily varying the angle between branches and the radius of curvature of the entrance and exit roads, and transmitting a warning signal when a collision between two driving vehicles is expected.

  • VANET (Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks) is a network between vehicles and between vehicles and infrastructure. VANET-specific characteristics such as high mobility, movement limitation, and signal interference by obstacles make it difficult to provide stable VANET services. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a vehicle type-based priority clustering method that improves the existing bus-based clustering. The proposed algorithm constructs a cluster by evaluating the priority, link quality, and connectivity based on the vehicle type, expected communication lifetime, and link degree of neighbor nodes. It tries to simplify the process of selecting a cluster head and increase cluster coverage by utilizing a predetermined priority based on the type of vehicle. The proposed algorithm is expected to become the basis for activating various services by contributing to providing stable services in a connected car environment.

  • In this paper, we propose a new opportunistic routing scheme based on timed bargaining game. The proposed algorithm effectively formulates the opportunistic routing mechanism as an repeated bargaining model using timed learning method. Additionally, we formulate a new contention window adjusting scheme for reduce collision rate. Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme has excellent performance than other existing schemes under widely diverse VANET environments.

  • 본 논문에서는 교통상황을 실시간으로 반영하여 최적의 이동경로를 제공하는 적응형 내비게이션 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 세 가지 요소로 구성되어있다. 첫 번째로 도로교통망 중 한 구획의 도로상황정보를 수집하고 공유하는 Traffic Control Center (TCC). 두 번째로 개별적인 도로나 교차로에 설치되어 차량으로부터 도로상황정보를 수집하는 Road Side Unit(RSU). 마지막으로 차량들 간의 망 형성을 위해서 사용되는 Dedicated Short Range Communications(DSRC)를 기반으로 차량에 설치된 단말기가 있다. DSRC를 기반으로 RSU와의 통신하는 단말기는 실시간 도로교통정보를 기반으로 운전자에게 최적의 경로를 제공한다. 이동속도와 같은 교통정보는 단말기에서 측정되고, RSU로 전송된다. RSU는 이 정보를 처리하여 해당 도로의 도로상황지수를 생성하고, 주기적으로 TCC에 전송한다. TCC는 RSU로부터 도로상황지수를 통합하여 TCC의 관할 구획의 모든 차량에 대해 도로교통정보를 만든다. 마지막으로 단말기는 효율적인 경로안내를 위해 최적의 경로를 도출하여 운전자에게 제공한다. 따라서 단말기, RSU, TCC간의 상호작용을 통해 AINS는 동적인 교통상황(정체, 교통사고 등)을 기반으로 새로운 형태의 적응형 지능 내비게이션을 제공할 수 있다.

  • 궤도회로를 사용하지 않고 무선통신을 이용하여 지상-차상간 정보를 송수신하고 열차속도를 제어하는 CBTC 시스템에서, CBTC 차상장치와 추진제어장치와 제동제어장치, 출입문 개폐장치 등의 차량내 각종 차량제어장치들간의 인터페이스를 죄 적화하기 위한 방안에 대하여 검토하였다. 또한 현재 국가연구개발사업으로 추진중인 경량전철 신호제어시스템 개발에 적용하여, 시스템 최적화를 통한 시스템 설계 및 시험평가에 적용하였다.

  • These studies developed system as well as its algorithm which can measure traffic flow and vehicle speed on the highway as well as road by using industrial television(ITV) system. This algorithm used the real time processing of dynamic images. The processing algorithm of dynamic images is developed and proved its validity by frame grabber. Frame grabber can process the information of a small number of sample points only instead of the whole pixel of the images. In the techniques of this algorithm, we made approximate contour of vehicle by allocating sampling points in cross-direction of image, and recognized top of contour of vehicle. Applying these technique, we measured the number of passing vehicles of one lane as well as multilane. Speed of each vehicle is measured by computing the time difference between a pair of sample points on two sample Points lines.
