모듈화된 신형저가 고효율 평판형 태양열 집열기 개발

  • 알루미늄 재질의 찬넬을 흡열판으로 이용하는 평판형 태양열 집열기를 개발하였다. 이러한 흡열판은 찬넬 내부 전체로 전열매체가 흐르기 때문에 집열기의 열적성능을 향상시킬 것으로 예상되며, 모듈화되어 있어 제작 및 설치가 기존 흡열판보다 용이하다는 장점이 있다. 제작된 찬넬형 평판형 태양열 집열기에 대한 집열효율 시험을 수차례 수행하면서 성능을 개선시키고 있으며, 그 결과 기존 상용화된 집열기 수준의 우수한 열적성능을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 알루미늄 재질 흡열판 외에 플라스틱 재질의 찬넬형 흡열판도 적용하였으며, 기타 실용화 및 성능 향상에 필요한 요소들에 대해 연구하였다.

  • Efforts have continued in recent years to research and develop new alternative energy sources to replace coal and oil. These days interest is exploding in new pollution-free renewable energy due to the rising prices of finite energy sources. In the field of solar energy, one of new renewable energy that has been actively researched and commercialized, research efforts have been focused on solar light energy, whose efficiency has, however, reached a saturation point already. Thus, this paper proposed a solar tracking-type parabolic heat collection device to utilize solar thermal energy rather than solar light energy. The proposed device was designed in a parabolic form to collect solar heat effectively. The investigator made its prototype by incorporating a five-axis censor-based solar tracking technology in it to sense changes to the location of the sun according to the seasons and periods. In addition, an administrator interface was designed and implemented for the efficient management of heat collection device.

  • The use of solar energy among renewable energy tends to increase because of its infinity and cleanness of resources. Even though the consumption rate of solar energy in our country is still low, however, in recent years, the research for solar energy have been widely conducted due to policy support of government. This study was performed to investigate the efficiency of heat collection using solar collector with single evacuated tube-type. As the results, the temperature of radiation fin for solar collector with single evacuated tube-type was lower in spite of high temperature of heat pipe compared that of double evacuated tube-type. In order to increase the efficiency of heat collection, it was confirmed that the loss of heat collection due to contact resistance as well as performance improvement for solar collector should be decreased.

  • Theoretical analysis for the thermal performance on the low-cost trickle collector, which is easy to manufacture and construct, has been performed. The results were in reasonably good agreement with those of the experiments. They have been applicable to predict long-term thermal performance on the low-cost solar collecting system. The dialogue type of computer program has been written based on the f-chart method and it can be used for designing a these collecting system, and investigating its economic feasibility.

  • There are mainly 3 heat losses from solar collector; top, bottom, and edge heat loss. Usually edge heat loss is small so that could be neglected. Of the total thermal losses occurring in a flat plate solar collector, top loss heat losses are dominant. Therefore it is necessary to calculate the top loss coefficient accurately in order to find out performance of solar collector. The flat plate solar collector(regenerator in summer) used in this study was made for year-round all conditioning. In order to find out collector efficiency for heating in winter without a system change, outdoor experiment was done. The top loss coefficient of this collector was about 3 to $4.5W/m^2^{\circ}C$. Futhermore use of selective coating in trickling surface can improve a performance of flat plate solar collector.

  • 최근 급격한 경제성장과 고도 산업사회로의 전환에 따라 에너지 수요가 크게 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 석유, 가스 등 화석에너지의 소비량과 온실가스 배출량이 급격히 늘어나고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 화석에너지의 소비와 온실가스 배출을 저감시키기 위해 친환경적인 에너지를 이용하기 위한 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 이와 같은 노력 중 하나가 바로 태양열에너지를 이용하는 방법이다. 태양열에너지는 자원 고갈의 우려가 없고, 에너지의 이용 과정에서 공해 물질을 배출하지 않아 대체 에너지원으로 각광을 받고 있다. 하지만 에너지 밀도가 낮고 에너지의 공급이 기상조건에 따라 큰 영향을 받으므로 태양열에너지를 이용하기 위해서는 효율적인 집열시스템이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우수한 열적특성을 가진 탄소나노유체를 히트파이프 작동유체에 적용하여, 태양열 집열기의 효율을 향상시키기 위해 탄소나노유체의 열전도도 및 점도특성을 비교분석하였다. 나노유체는 에탄올에 산화 다중벽 탄소나노튜브(Oxidized Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes, OMWCNTs)를 혼합하고, 초음파 분산하여 제조하였다. 에탄올-산화탄소나노유체의 열전도도와 점도는 저온($10^{\circ}C$), 상온($25^{\circ}C$), 고온($70^{\circ}C$)에서 측정하여 비교분석하였으며, 열전도도는 전기 전도성 유체의 비정상 열선법(Transient Hot-wire Method)을 이용하여 측정하였고, 점도는 회전형 디지털 점도계를 이용하였다. 실험 결과 0.1 vol%의 에탄올-산화탄소나노유체의 열전도도는 기본 유체 대비 33.72%($10^{\circ}C$), 33.14%($25^{\circ}C$), 32.26%($70^{\circ}C$)가 향상되었으며, 점도 또한 기본유체보다 크게 증가하지 않아 히트파이프 작동유체로서 우수한 효과를 나타낼 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 태양열 집열기 히트파이프의 효율 향상을 위한 기초자료로써 유용한 정보를 제공할 것이라 판단된다.

  • The absorbing rate of solar irradiation on the surface of an absorbing tube in a glass evacuated solar collector is numerically investigated. Four different shapes of the absorbing tubes are considered, and the absorbed solar irradiation on the surface is calculated for several distances between the absorbing tubes and the incidence angle of solar beam radiation. From the calculation, it is known that the absorbing rate of solar irradiation on the tube surfaces depends upon the shape and the arrangement of absorbing tube and the incidence angle.

  • Experiments for drying radish were carried out to analyze the drying characteristics and quality evaluation between solar heated-air drying and natural air drying system. Solar heated-air drying system consists of a small fan, a solar air heater and a tunnel dryer. Simulation model for thermal environments of solar collector was developed to investigate the effect of solar radiation and airflow rate on thermal performance.

  • In the solar heat collection system, we can determine how the collector will perform under specific conditions from the efficiency curve. By understanding the basic principles which govern the operation, designers can maximize the output from the collector. Absorptance, transmission and the total heat transfer coefficient were introduced to induce this efficiency curve. Designers who can make use of the implicit information on the curve in this report will generate systems which obtain the best return from their client's investment.

  • 파형 단면을 가진 유하식 집열기의 이론 및 실험 결과로서 유량, 각도등 집열성능에 미치는 영향등이 고려되었다. 입구 온도와 출구온도 차이가 적을 경우에는 이론과 실험치가 잘 맞으나 온도차이가 많을 경우 혹은 입구온도가 높을 때에는 투과체안에 생기는 결로 및 수증기의 영향으로 편차가 커진다. 개방회로와 폐쇄회로의 경우를 구분하여 실험되었는데 개방회로의 경우 효율은 약간 저하되지만 전반적인 성능은 폐쇄회로와 같은 경향을 나타내었다. 개방회로는 과열을 막는 방편으로 이용될 수 있다.
