The purpose of this study is to analyze the benefits of library assisted instruction. A survey was conducted along with in-depth interview with students who have experienced library assisted instructions. As a result, 18 different domains of benefits of library assisted instruction have been identified through the students with the experience of the instruction. The benefits include 'increasing efficiency in learning', 'building the habits of reading', etc. The benefits of library assisted instruction are expected to be applied in the strategies to operation of library service.

The purpose of this study is to explore the meanings of the features of university students with regard to their smartphone usage in order to establish the culture of good smartphone use. In-depth interviews were conducted with nine university students. The collected data were analyzed qualitative method. As a results, five theme and 18 subthemes of characteristic of smartphone usage were identified. Those themes include 1. background of smartphone usage, 2. attachment to smartphone usage, 3. building of my own the world, 4. emergence of new human relation, 5. burden of smartphone usage. This study provided practical suggestions and follow studies for good smartphone usage.

In spite of theoretical logics about the necessities and effects of community networking, we have easily watched the failure of netwoking efforts and break of community networks in everyday life. Starting from these experiences, I tried to understand the process of community networking from the networkers'point of view, by the qualitative research method. Through qualitative in-depth interviews on the 6 experienced social workers in 4 communities, I analyzed their experiences of community network building, presented the results(practical guidelines), especially for the social workers expecting to be a community netwoker themselves. They consist of 10 categories and 5 themes(Being a leader/leaderships, partnership/teamwork building, understanding the impact of context, resource usage, netwoking sustaining).

이 연구는 우리나라에서 시행되는 수학경시대회의 문항분석 현황을 다루고 이를 바탕으로 문제은행 구축에 필요한 문항분석을 위하여 기본 및 선결과제를 제시한다. 또한, 몇가지 오답유형에 대한 문항을 분석하여 경시대회 문제의 질적 수준 확보에 필요한 기초자료를 제공한다.

Research methods is an integral component of a field and plays a crucial role for the development of a field. Three areas are explored to assess research methods in Korean library and information science (US) graduate programs: (1) comparison of research methods'courses across Korean LIS graduate programs; (2) content analysis of the trend of research methods education; (3) comparison of research methods'courses between the U.S. and Korean library and information science graduate programs.

The previous study showed a large variation in performance within the queries and suggested that characteristics of queries cotribute to retrieval performance. Three attributes, specificity, complexity and recency were used to analyze the different results within queries. The result showed that subject searching retrieve more relevant documents for a Query with low specificity than a query with high specificity and that queries from the doctoral students' dissertations were specific queries with high specificity.

최근 유무기 하이브리드 전자소자의 발전과 더불어 스트레처블 태양광전지 기술이 개발되고 있다. 본 연구는 스트레처블 태양광전지에 대해 기술을 선도하는 국가나 기관을 파악하고 우리나라의 기술 수준은 어느 정도인지 분석하기 위하여, 특허 데이터를 기반으로 정량 분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 스트레처블 태양광전지 기술은 전체 특허건수 1,747건 중에 48%를 차지하는 중국이 양적으로 우세한 것으로 나타났으며, 피인용도지수와 시장확보지수가 월등히 높은 미국이 질적으로 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 상위 주요출원인 1~2위로 선정된 일본 국적의 화학물질 제조기업이 재료분야에서 기술을 선도하는 것으로 나타났다. 우리나라는 양적인 면과 질적인 면에서 모두 두각을 나타내지 못하고 있으며, 기업체의 참여도 저조하여 상업화 단계로 발전하지 못한 것으로 분석되었다. 단, 스트레처블 태양광전지 기술의 성장단계가 성숙기 단계로 진입하고 있고 기술 독점 여부가 낮은 것으로 나타났기 때문에, 선택과 집중을 통한 전략적인 연구개발 계획을 수립한다면 기회가 있다고 판단된다.

The purpose of this study is to classify welfare regimes using the method of qualitative comparative analysis(QCA). By formalizing the logic of qualitative analysis, QCA makes it possible to bring the logic and empirical intensity of qualitative approaches to studies that normally call for the use of quantitative methods. In QCA each case is conceived holistically, as a configuration of conditions, not a collection of scores on variables. Major findings of this study are as follows. Firstly, major explanations for welfare state differences are partly supported. Indicators relevant to each explanation can appear to be important only if other causal conditions are considered. For example, in the interventionist welfare states, high GDP per capita must be combined with the weakness of the Right and ethnic homogeneity. Otherwise, it can't discern interventionist from liberalist welfare states. Secondly, the equation for the interventionist welfare states includes multiple causal conjunctures. Many studies of welfare state find the same results. The third main finding is that IDV(individualism index) which is proxy for the weakness of informal network matters. Combining with other variables, IDV seems to be important in explaining the emergence of Confucian welfare states.
