가을도 중턱에 닿았다. 파란 하늘, 황금빛 들판, 알록달록 단풍과 낙엽, 시원한 날씨 덕분에 현장학습, 가율소풍 등 아이들의 야외활동이 유독 많은 10월이다. 그런 만큼 아이들 건강에 신경 써야 한다. 가을마다 잊지 않고 찾아오는 감기, 가을철 알레르기 등 아이들은 질병에 노출되어 있기 때문이다.

`건강'에 대한 의미가 특별해지는 요즘이다. 남녀노소를 불문하고 다양한 질병에 노출되어 있는 시대이니 만큼 정부에서도 촉각을 곤두세우고 의료 환경 개선에 적극 나서고 있다. 이에 따라 지난해에 이어 올해도 보험급여 확대를 통한 건강보험보장성을 강화하고 취약계층에 대한 다양한 의료혜택 제공 등의 정책이 추진된다. 2011년 바뀌는 보건의료제도를 알아보자.

주변을 돌아보면 배가 나온 사람을 심심찮게 찾아볼 수 있다. 예전에는 튀어나온 배를 후덕함의 상징으로 여겼지만, 요즘은 미용상 뿐 아니라 건강상에도 좋지 않은 것으로 보고 있다. 복부비만이 심할 경우 대사질환으로 발전할 가능성이 높아져 당뇨, 고혈압, 고지혈증 등이 동시에 나타나는 대사증후군으로 이어질 수 있다. 이러한 질병에 한꺼번에 노출되면 생명까지 잃을 수 있어 매우 치명적이다.

겨울철이 되면 추위를 피해 따뜻한 실내에서 생활하는 시간이 많아지므로 자연히 실외활동이 현저하게 줄어든다. 사람들이 실내로 모여들기 때문에 밀폐된 공간에는 미세한 먼지나 각종 오염물질로 넘쳐난다. 이것은 호흡기 질환에 쉽게 노출되어 있다는 것을 말한다. 하지만 우리의 몸은 뛰어난 적응력을 자랑하므로 규칙적인 운동과 충분한 휴식, 철저한 위생관리와 적절한 영양섭취를 통해 겨울철 질병에서 자유롭게 벗어날 수 있다.

영화 <힘을 내요, 미스터 리>에서 주인공 철수(차승원 분)는 한때 소방관이었다. 그러나 불의의 사고를 당해 정신지체를 갖게 되면서 소방관을 그만 두고 만다. 치명적인 위험 속으로 뛰어드는 소방관들이 가장 많이 앓는 질병으로 난청이 있다. 출동 시 사이렌이 울리는 등 심한 소음을 들을 수밖에 없기 때문이다.

The types of exposure data needed in an industry-based study depend on the diseases of interest and the study design to be used. The best situation occurs when we have quantified personal exposure estimates for the agents of interest, the least informative case occurs when we have only knowledge of the fact of employment in a plant, industry, or trade where exposure probability is high. Exposure information for most industry-based studies falls somewhere between these tow extremes. Job exposure matrices(JEM) are designed to link information on occupation with information on exposure to specific workplace hazards. Some forms of systematic error of bias may be less likely to occur in studies that utilize job-exposure matrices to indirectly infer exposures from job titles than in studies that assess exposures by asking subjects about their past exposure. JEM can be used effectively in industry-based studies for historic cohort studies, case-control study to assist with the retrospective assessment of occupational exposures among workers whose individual exposure histories are unavailable. JEM generally consist of a computerized database that links information about job categories and likely exposures. These two major axes may be stratified by calendar time. This article reviews the design of JEM in support of industry-based studies. Specific matrices may find broader applicability along with the increasing availability of detailed hygienic data.

The safety of human exposure to an ever-increasing number and diversity of electromagnetic field (EMF) sources both at work and at home has clearly become a public health issue. To date many $in$ $vivo$ and $in$ $vitro$ studies revealed that EMF exposure can alter cellular metabolism, endocrine function, immune activity, reproductive function, and fetal development in animal system. The major parameters found to be altered in cells or individuals following EMF exposure include an increase of free radicals, DNA damage, cancer risk, developmental defect, and reproductive dysfunctions. Epidemiological studies reported EMF can increase life-threatening illnesses such as leukemia, brain cancer, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, clinical depression, suicide, and Alzheimer's disease has been identified. These effects of EMF exposure differ according to duration of exposure, frequency of waves, and strength (energy) of EMF. In the present review, we briefly introduced the physical properties of EMF and summarized the effect of EMF on human and wildlife animals according to types of EMF, duration of exposure at cellular and organism levels.

The purpose of this study, fire officials during the field activities find causes fugitive dust of containing asbestos is the seriousness of the phenomenon is a threat case and through questionnaires, during on-site activities to prevent exposure to asbestos is effectively. Analysis of the relationship to field activities of fire officials and about the dangers of asbestos dust, asbestos cancer caused by asbestos, and to protect fire officials from the same disease like malignant mesothelioma, by varying the conditions of irrational, fire officials at the scene activities in advance of a deadly hazard is aimed to eliminate through optimization of organizational management and a safe and pleasant working conditions for fire officials through the deadly hazards at the scene of action is aimed to obviate. Also according to asbestos exposure by wearing protective equipment as well as thoroughly strengthen firefighting, firefighting awards to recognize the seriousness of the hazard factors, disease and provide compensation to the legal system, for diseases not yet recognized officially recognized by disaster supplemented by institutional, fire officials to improve morale and working conditions, etc. versus expectations is to improve public services.

In this study, in the Nativity birth chart of Classic Astrology, the study was conducted under the premise that 'If the natives are born with different structures to govern their diseases, diseases may appear differently in the lives of natives.' did. In the birth chart, an individual's innate health was analyzed through the strengths and weaknesses of sign, planets, and aspects. In the case of managing congenital diseases, we studied the aspect relationship between the native's ASC constellation and the fixed star and planet in the Nativity Birth Chart. In the case of controlling acquired diseases, it was judged by examining the constellations, rulers, and planets of the 6^th house that control diseases in the Nativity birth chart. In the case of acquired diseases, natives may be exposed to various accidents and diseases throughout their lives. So, we looked at the relationship between diseases through the energy and weakness of the planet coming through Pirdaria, the aspect relationship with the planet, and fixed star. As a result of the study, a native's health status is given differently depending on the strength and weakness of the innate sign and planet in the Nativity Birth Chart. And it has been proven that the health of the native is determined by the state of the 6^th House, who rules over disease, and the disease and accidents that come from Direction are determined by the relationship between the planet and the aspect coming from Pirdaria.
