Cytologic Features of Langerhans' Cell Histiocytosis (Langerhans 세포 조직구증의 세포학적 검색)

  • Langerhans' cell histiocytosis (LCH), known for histiocytosis X, is a clinicopathologic entity characterized by proliferation of Langerhans' cells (LCs) throughout the body including the reticuloendothelial system, bone, and skin. LCs is currently considered as a distinct type of histlocytic cells, not primarily phagocytic in nature. Recently, we could make the diagnosis on cytologic specimen in a 3 month-old-boy and a 3 year-old-boy. The cases were diagnosed on scraping smear from the skin and fine needle aspiration cytology from the lymph node, respectively. The characteristic cytologic features of Langerhans' cells were noted in the nuclei, namely eccentric, indented, elongated, and grooved nuclei. The cells also had abundant and acidophilic cytoplasm. The cytologic diagnoses were confirmed on the biopsies from the skin and lymph node, respectively.

Effect of Dietary Conjugated Linoleic Acid on Texture and Sensory Characteristics of Pork (Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) 급여가 돈육의 조직적.관능적 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • The effects of dietary conjugated linoleic aicd on pork quality was investigated using sixty four pigs. CLA was synthesized by alkaline isomerization method with corn oil. Pigs were devided into 4 treatment groups(16 pigs/group) arid subjected to one of four treatment diets(0, 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3% CLA diets) for 2 weeks before slaughter. Pork loin and belly were collected from the animals(105∼110kg body weight) slaughtering at the commercial slaughter house. Pork loin and belly meat were aerobic packaged and then stored during 2. 5. 8. 11 and 13 days at 4$\^{C}$ refrigerator. Samples were analysed for meat color, texture and sensory characteristics. There were no diference in meat color(L*, a*, b*), texture and sensory property among control and CLA treatment (s), and no changes as the storage period passed. This results mean that feeding CLA to pork doesn't change the meat color and texture of the pork what consumers consider when they buy some meat. Especially, feeding CLA to pork didn't transform sensory property of the pork. We considered these result as no problem in the pig fed with CLA.

  • 표고(Lentinula edodes)에 다량 함유되어 있는 아미노산은 면역효과와 밀접한 관련이 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 표고 특유의 향미에 대한 소비자들의 선호도가 상이하여, 표고를 맥아로 당화하여 소비자들의 섭취 편이성을 향상시키고, 아미노산을 포함한 당화액을 제조하여 면역효과가 증강된 제품을 개발하고자 본 연구를 수행하였다. 또한 버섯류를 비롯한 담자균류에는 다양한 약효성분이 함유되어 있어 민간에서도 자주 사용된 기록이 있다. 최근 고등담자균류인 버섯의 성분 및 유용성에 관심이 크게 증가하고 있는 추세이며, 이에 따라 버섯류에 대한 식품학적 및 약리학적 측면에서 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 표고(L.edodes)와 당화효소로 사용한 맥아의 비율에 따라 A (표고 1 kg : 맥아 50 g), B (표고 1 kg : 맥아 100 g), C (표고 1 kg : 맥아 200 g), D (표고 1 kg : 맥아 300 g), E (표고 1 kg : 맥아 300 g) 5개의 시험구를 설정하였으며, 제조된 표고당화액을 농축 후 동결건조 하여 분말로 분쇄 후 시료로 사용하였다. 표고당화액의 면역효과를 검증하고자, Raw 264.7에 표고당화추출분말 A, B, C, D, E를 각각 10, 50, 100 및 $500{\mu}g/mL$의 농도로 처리하여 각 시료에 대한 세포 독성과 항염증효과를 확인하였다. 세포독성 시험결과, E 시험구의 경우 $100{\mu}g/mL$의 농도에서 75.3%, $500{\mu}g/mL$의 농도에서 66.3%의 세포생존율을 나타내 독성을 보였다. 또한 A, B, D를 각각 $500{\mu}g/mL$의 농도로 처리 했을 때, 94.1%, 83.1%, 80.2%의 NO 생성율을 나타내어 E 시험구를 제외하고는 세포독성이 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 표고당화추출분말의 구성아미노산 함량은 C 시험구에서 19,699.01 mg%로 가장 높게 나타났으며, A 시험구에서 17,231.14 mg%, B 시험구에서 17,152.38 mg%순으로 높게 나타났다. E 시험구에서 13,367.98 mg%로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 모든 표고당화추출분말에서 총 16종의 유리아미노산 이 검출 되었으며, C 시험구에서 2,562.06 mg%로 가장 높게 나타났고, B 시험구에서 2,243.16 mg%, D 시험구에서 1,895.29 mg%, A 시험구에서 1,672.82 mg%순으로 높게 나타났다.

  • This paper analyzes the sources of EMI noise, and Presents the noise reduction method using the modulation of switching frequency. Modulating the switching frequency makes the noise of side bands by shattering emission spectrum, and then can reduce the size of EMI filter at input line of power supply.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to recognize a face image of the 3D using the LVQ network. LVQ network of the proposed method, We used the front view of a face image to get to a coded light to a training data, can group a face image including the side of various angle. For an usefulness authentication of this algorithm, Various experiment which classifies a face image of the angle was the low.

  • 최근 들어 공장에서만 사용되는 로봇을 탈피하여, 사람과 함께 생활하면서 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 인간 친화적인 로봇이 전 세계적으로 개발되고 있다. 인간과 자연스런 상호작용을 위하여, 화자를 바라보고, 깨끗한 음성신호를 얻는 과정에서 음원의 위치 추적은 필연적이다. 본 연구는 마이크로폰에 도달되는 동일 신호의 도착시간지연(Time Delay of Arrival)정보를 이용하여, 음원 위치를 구하는 기존의 수학적인 방법론[1]을 소개하고 검토한다. 모의실험을 통하여, 방법론[1]이 허상음원을 생성하는 음원 위치 측정임을 보인다.

  • Power electronic loads inject harmonic currents into the utility system. The large increase of power consumption will inevitably lead to deteriorating power quality due to the popularization of switch-mode power electronic equipment. In this paper, a periodic voltage is injected in the control circuit to vary duty cycle of the rectifier switch within a line cycle so that the fifth-order harmonic of the input current is reduced to meet the IEC 61000-3-2 requirement. Experimental results are presented to confirm the validity of this method.

  • In this paper, we present harmonic reduction of a Single-Switch Three-Phase Boost Rectifier which is operated at 25kHz. A simulation result shows that input current harmonics of Single-Switch Three-Phase Rectifier are reduced by Harmonic-Injection Method. Sixth harmonic is used for Harmonic-Injection Method.

A Case Report of a papule and nodule acne patient Treated with Osuyu-tang Based on Shanghanlun Provisions (『상한론(傷寒論)』 변병진단체계(辨病診斷體系)에 근거하여 소음병(少陰病) 오수유탕(吳茱萸湯)을 투여한 후 호전된 구진성·결절성 여드름 증례 1례)

  • Objective: In this study, we aimed to inform people that acne can be improved with Osuyu-tang (OSYT) based on the Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system (DPIDS). Methods: We evaluated the progress of symptoms, patient compliance, and presence of side effects after the patient took OSYT. The progress of acne treatment was evaluated using the Korean Acne Grading System (KAGS), visual findings, and patient statements. Results: According to the DPIDS, the patient was diagnosed with provision 309 of soyinbing. After administration of OSYTfor 50 days, KAGS decreased from grade 3 to grade 1. Cold hands and feet improved significantly. Conclusions: Through this case study, we showed the possibility of the clinical interpretation and application of OSYT and suggested further case studies in the future.

Fabrication and Evaluation of Levosulpiride-loaded Amorphous Spray-dried Microparticle for Improved Solubility (용해도 개선을 위한 레보설피라이드 무정형 분무 건조 미세분말의 제조 및 평가)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate amorphous spray-dried microparticles (SDM) containing levosulpiride to increase its solubility. SDM are prepared via solvent evaporation using polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as the water-soluble polymer and Cremophor RH40 as the surfactant. The SDM is prepared by varying the amounts of PVP and Cremophor RH40, and its physicochemical properties, solubility, and dissolution are confirmed. All levosulpiride-loaded SDMs converted the crystalline drug into an amorphous form, significantly improving drug solubility and dissolution compared with the drug alone. SDM consisting of drug/PVP/Cremophor RH40 in a weight ratio of 5:10:3, with increased solubility (720 ± 36 vs. 1822 ± 51 ㎍/mL) and dissolution rate (10.3 ± 2.2 vs. 92.6 ± 6.0%) compared with drug alone, shows potential as a commercial drug for improved oral bioavailability of levosulpiride.
