The Control of Vertical Vibration of Building Slabs using Tuned Mass Dampers (동조질량 감쇠기에 의한 건물 바닥판의 연직진동제어)

  • The floors of building structures equipped with vibrating machines can be susceptible to large vibration as a result of resonance or beating. Such a vibration can be reduced efficiently by using tuned mass dampers. However, the effectiveness of the damper depends greatly on the location and the natural frequency of the damper. To determine the optimum damper location is especially important since the dynamic behavior of a building structure varies with the location of the input loading. To this end, it is intended to decide the location and natural frequency of tuned mass dampers for reducing vibration of both loaded floors and floors located nearby the loaded floors considering the location and frequency components of the loading. The Vector composition method and the super elements are used th obtain the responses in steady states, and the optimum damper location and natural frequencies were found with the given damper mass.

  • The effectiveness of two passive control techniques for alleviating the pressure oscillation generated in a supersonic cavity flow is investigated numerically. The passive devices suggested in the present research include a triangular bump and a sub-cavity installed near the upstream edge of a rectangular cavity. The supersonic cavity flow characteristics are examined by using the three-dimensional, unsteady Wavier-Stokes computation based on a finite volume scheme. Large eddy simulation (LES) is carried out to properly predict the turbulent features of cavity flow. The results show that the pressure oscillation near the downstream edge dominates overall time-dependent cavity pressure variations. Such an oscillation is attenuated more considerably using the sub-cavity compared with other methods, and a larger sub-cavity leads to better control performance.

  • The most common problem encountered in domestic tunnel construction sites are solving public resentments caused by damage to adjacent structures and buildings. The most effective excavation method in rock tunnelling is the drilling and blasting, which is the main cause of vibration resulting in the public resentments. In this study, numerical analysis is conducted to compare the vibration reduction effect of line drilling and pre-splitting methods. Furthermore, the numerical simulations are verified and the results are quantified. Finally, various combinations of explosives used in controlled blasting are used and the vibration reduction effects are evaluated, thereby proving the applicability of the controlled blasting for reduction of vibration in tunnelling.

  • Due to the travelling of the train with high speed the period of maintenance activities of the ballasted track is coming to be short, and more from the residential area of the ballasted track tunnel circumference the civil appeal is increasing with railroad vibration problem. To reduce the vibration problem and a maintenance cost establishes the ballast mat in the tunnel within part segment. In this study, to estimate the vibration reduction effect of the ballast mat we have done a comparative analysis with the vibration field test by the transit train by at the ballasted track with ballast mat and the standard ballasted track without vibration protection in tunnel.

  • For an electromagnetic suspension (EMS)-type urban Maglev train using U-shaped electromagnets, both the vertical and the lateral air gaps for levitation are maintained only by the electromagnet. The train can run over curved rails without active lateral air gap control because the U-shaped electromagnet simultaneously produces both a levitation force and a guidance force, which is dependent on the levitation force. Owing to the passive control of the lateral air gap, the lateral vibration could exceed the limits of the lateral air gap and acceleration. In this study, dynamic analysis of a Maglev train is carried out, and the effectiveness of a lateral damper for vibration reduction is investigated. To more accurately predict the lateral vibration, a Maglev vehicle multibody model including air-sparing, guideway irregularities, electromagnets, and their controls is developed.

회전축계의 진동해석 시스템

  • 동력을 발생하거나 이를 이용하는 대부분의 기계장치는 회전하는 축계 장치 를 갖고 있는데 이들은 중량을 갖는 회전체와 이것을 지지하거나 연결하는 강성축과 베어링으로 구성되므로 진동형태에 따른 고유진동수를 나타낸다. 그 결과 축계 장치 가 운전되는 동안 발생하는 기진력이 축계 강도를 초과하거나 진동수가 시스템의 공진점에 일치하던지 가까우면 이들 진동에 의해 축계 장치에 부착되어 있는 카프링, 감속기어, 지지베어링, 밀봉씰, 공정볼트 등이 이상마모 또는 피로파괴의 원인이 되므로 설계시나 운전중에 이에 대한 진동원인들을 PC를 이용하여 현장운전자들이 쉽게 규명할 수 있도록 개발하고 발생되는 진동문제를 효과적으로 해결할 수 있는 진동 저감장치를 몇 가지 소걔하였다. 국내에서 제작되는 선박, 자동차, 발전프랜트 또는 여기에 설치되는 엔진의 진동저감울 위해 이들 소프트웨어와 하드웨어들은 국내 관련기업의 현장기술 지도를 위해 여러차례 활용된 바 있으며 이를 이용하므로 써 축계진동 저감기술 자립은 물론 국산화 제품의 성능향상에도 크게 기여할 수 있다고 본다.

Effect of the Trend fo Civil Complaint and Apartment Price at Management System of Floor Noise at Houses (층간소음 관리시스템이 민원저감과 아파트 가격에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구는 현재 사회문제화 되고 있는 층간소음 피해 실태조사 분석을 통하여 적용 가능한 층간소음 분쟁의 예방을 위한 효율적인 관리시스템을 개발 적용하였다. 설문조사 분석결과, 층간소음의 주요 발생 원인으로 아이들 뛰는 소음과 어른 걷는 소음이 55% ~ 75%로 가장 심각한 소음원으로 나타났으며, 소음 피해시간대는 저녁(18시~22시) 시간대는 50% ~ 65%로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 야간(22시~ 06시) 시간대는 26% ~ 45%범위에 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 층간소음관리시스템 적용 전 후의 민원저감효과 분석결과, 전라도 광주는 100%, 대구시는 87.5%, 서울의 경우는 83%, 경기도는 71% 순으로 나타나, 평균 약 85% 이상의 민원 저감효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 층간소음관리시스템 적용 전 후의 아파트 가격 변화 분석결과, 적용된 아파트의 경우는 평균 17.23백만원 상승한 반면, 미적용된 아파트는 0.55백만원 하락한 것으로 평가되었다.
