Vibration Reduction of Steel Hot-Rolling Facility (제철 열간 압연기의 진동 저감책)

  • 본 연구에서는, 제철 열간 압연기에서 slab가 진입, 추출시 충격으로 인한 진 동에 의해 두께 조절용 위치센서가 오작동을 하는 원인을 규명하고 그 해결 책을 제시하고자, 기존 AGC Top Plate와 위치 감지센서의 작동 상태 및 진 동특성을 검정하였고, 문제점을 발견하여 각각의 구조를 개선, 재측정하여 개선정도를 확인하였다. Disk형 AGC Top Plate는 직경을 줄이고, 두께를 늘 여 자체 진동을 감소시켜, Plate 진동에 의한 위치센서의 오작동 원인 및 이 에 의해 제어 유압펌프에 Feedback되어 top부 제어계에 발생하는 Hunting현 상을 줄였다. 위치센서는 내부 Spring의 초기변형량을 증가시켜 내탄성에너 지량을 증가시켜, 센서자체의 진동 및 측정시 나타나는 여진현상을 제거하였 다. 본 연구를 통한 측정결과로는 최대 82.7%의 제진효과와 여진현상의 제거 효과를 보았다.

A Study on the Step-Up Converter with the New Topology Method (내구성이 개선된 발전용 가스터빈 온도센서 개발에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the problem is analyzed, and methods of improvement are presented. For evaluating the performance of the proposed EGT sensor, a complex environment test equipment has been developed to test both high temperature and vibration conditions at the same time. This equipment evaluates the accuracy and response time of the EGT sensor. In the results of the comparison test of the complex environment test equipment of heat and vibration, the existing sensor showed a carbonization problem, and the proposed sensor showed no problem. Therefore, it is expected that the improved EGT sensor will be able to be applied to various industrial fields, including gas turbines for power generation.

  • In this paper, the results of underwater vibration experiment are analyzed to verify platform vibration-induced noise isolation characteristics of a hull-mounted acoustic sensor. The experimental condition causing platform vibration-induced noise is generated using the mock-up hull, where the acoustic sensor is installed, with shaker in an acoustic water tank. The performance indices of ATF (Acceleration Transfer Function), AVS (Acceleration Voltage Sensitivity), and IL (Insertion Loss) for the acoustic sensor are calculated from the output of the standard accelerometers, which are installed on the mock-up hull and the acoustic sensor, and the output signal of the acoustic sensor. The frequency-dependent noise isolation characteristics of the acoustic sensor are analyzed based on the calculated performance indices and an effectiveness of the experiment is examined.

Proposition of a Vibration Based Acceleration Sensor for the Fully Implantable Hearing Aid (완전 이식형 보청기를 위한 진동 기반의 가속도 센서 제안)

  • The hybrid acoustic sensor for implantable hearing aid has the structure in which a sound pressure based acoustic sensor (ECM) and a vibration based acceleration sensor are combined. This sensor combines the low frequency sensitivity of an acoustic sensor with the high frequency sensitivity of an acceleration sensor, allowing the acquisition of a wide range of sound from low to high frequency. In this paper, an acceleration sensor for use in a hybrid acoustic sensor has been proposed. The acceleration sensor captures the vibration of the tympanic membrane generated by the acoustic signal. The size of the proposed acceleration sensor was determined to diameter of 3.2 mm considering the anatomical structure of the tympanic membrane and the standard of ECM. In order to make the hybrid acoustic sensor have high sensitivity and wide bandwidth characteristics, the aim of the resonance frequency of the acceleration sensor is to be generated at about 3.5 kHz. The membrane of the acceleration sensor derives geometric structure through mathematical model and finite element analysis. Based on the analysis results, the membrane was implemented through a chemical etching process. In order to verify the frequency characteristics of the implemented membrane, vibration measurement experiment using external force was performed. The experiment results showed mechanical resonance of the membrane occurred at 3.4 kHz. Therefore, it is considered that the proposed acceleration sensor can be utilized for a hybrid acoustic sensor.

  • 고속도로에서 주행속도가 높아지게 되면, 도로의 노면 상태에 따라 차량의 안전과 쾌적한 운전자의 환경이 변화될 수 있다. 이처럼 도로의 노면 상태를 결정하는 주된 인자는 도로의 평탄성과 소성변형에 의한 노면의 요철이라고 할 수 있다. 평탄하지 못한 도로를 자동차가 고속으로 주행하게 되면, 자동차의 속도에 의한 도로와의 마찰이 발생하여 자동차에는 매우 큰 흔들림이 발생하게 된다. 또한, 도로의 경우에도 자동차의 차축과 도로면에서 발생하는 충격에 의해 미세한 진동이 발생하게 된다. 그리고 광섬유 브래그 격자(FBG)센서는 외부에서 작용하는 매우 미세한 물리량에 의한 변화의 측정이 가능한 매우 우수한 계측 센서로 사용이 가능하기 때문에 온도보상형 광섬유진동센서를 제작하였고, 이를 고속도로 포장면의 평탄성 모니터링에 활용하고자 하였다.

Study on improving passive sonar detection using acoustic vibration matching method for front and rear signal of complex sensor (복합센서의 전후방 신호에 대한 음향진동 정합기법을 이용한 수동소나 탐지성능 향상에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, ship hull-mounted passive sonar system solution is needed in the perspective of improving target detection and elimination of vibration-induced noise. Our research team suggests acousticvibration matching method using front and rear signal of a sensor as the improvement of the problem above. Thus in this paper, theoretical background about matching method and its application on finite element method based multi-physics simulation are described. Furthermore, it is shown that target detection and hull vibration performance are improved by using matching method under the condition of our sensor system. Finally, practicality and future research are discussed.

Fatigue Damage Detection and Vibration Sensing Using Intensity-Based Optical Fiber Sensors (광강도형 광섬유센서를 이용한 피로손상 및 진동감지)

  • Fatigue damage detection and vibration sensing for a laminated composites and impact location detection for a steel beam have been carried out using optical fiber sensor. Intensity based optical fiber sensor is constructed by placing two cleaved fiber end in a hollow glass tube, and multiple reflection within the cavity is considered. Fatigue signals are measured by embedded optical fiber, surface mounted optical fiber sensor and strain gage simultaneously. For vibration sensing, optical fiber sensor is mounted on the carbon fiber composite beam and its response to free vibration and forced vibration is investigated. In impact location detection, two optical fiber sensors are used and the information obtained from two sensors is arrival time delay of vibration caused by impact. Impact location can be calculated from this time delay. The obtained results show that the intensity based optical fiber sensor provide reliable data during long-term fatigue loading, unlike strain gage which deteriorate during the early part of the fatigue test. Optical fiber sensor signals coincide with gap sensor in vibration sensing. The precise locations of impact can be detected within 4.1% error limit.

  • For the development of liquid density measuring sensor using the natural frequency of a pipe, its principle and construction method were described. The stainless steel pipe, which has length of 32 cm, inside diameter of 2.3 cm and outside diameter of 2.5 cm, was used for the sensor. The exciting coil and the photo sensor were used to excite and to pick-up it, and the feedback circuit was designed to continue its vibrating. The natural frequency was consistent with the result of the spectrum analysis. It had a linearity of 0.0027 % and a sensitivity of 0.032 % in liquid density range from $0.8\;g/cm^{3}$ to $1.4\;g/cm^{3}$ and its frequency variation ratio was 0.024 $%/^{\circ}C$ in temperature range from $10^{\circ}C$ to $35^{\circ}C$.

  • 센서를 사용한 구조물의 진동측정 시 여러 문제로 인해 사용의 제약을 받아왔다. 이를 극복 하고자 최근 카메라를 이용한 진동 측정 기술이 연구되고 있지만 보통 산업용 카메라의 낮은 샘플링 주파수로 인해 구조물의 진동 측정에 한계를 보였다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 라인 스캔 카메라의 높은 샘플링 주파수를 이용한 진동 측정 기술을 제안하고 실험을 통하여 성능검증을 수행하였다.
