In General, the measured loads and load-time function suggested by Bachmann iota walking are used for vibration analysis of structures subjected to footstep loads. It is not easy to measure walking loads because they we influenced by various parameters. Therefore, it is needed to model the walking loads that can be applied to structure analysis. Parameter study is used for the walking loads having various walking frequency for vibration analysis of structures under walking loads. In this study, walking loads were measured directly by using a force plate within two load cells, and the parameters of the walking loads were analyzed. The measured walking loads are decomposed into harmonic loads by using the Fouler series. Functional relationship between the walking frequency and the Fourier coefficients can be derived from the coefficients of harmonic loads obtained by the decomposition process, and the walking loads were formulated. It is possible to apply the venerated walking loads easily or conveniently by the proposed equation to the analysis of a structure subjected to walking loads.

Recently, the floor systems those require large open space may have low inherent damping due to the decline of the use of curtain walls. Furthermore, the use of the high strength materials has resulted in more flexible and longer spanning in floor systems. The long span structures such as shopping malls, offices and large assembly rooms may lead to significant dynamic response due to human activities. Excessive vibrations make the occupants uncomfortable and deteriorate the serviceability of buildings. It is now proved that footfall loading is the major source of floor vibrations. The common method of application of walking loads for the vibration analysis of structures subjected to walking loads is to inflict measured walking loads and periodic function at a node. But this method could not account for the moving effect of walking. In this study, natural frequency and damping ratio of example structure are evaluated by heel drop tests. And the application of equivalent walking loads is used for on efficient vibration analysis of the plate structures subjected to walking loads.

It is conducted to analyze vibration loads on KSR-III(KSR: Korea Sounding Rocket) and its major segments during their ground transportation and various handling process. These loads may be different from the real flight environment. Inadequate assessment of these loads can cause not only local damages on the rocket system but also the critical problem like flight mission failure. Therefore, transportation and handling loads must be considered during design and attenuated to ensure that the rocket structural damage does not occur. This work is concerned with the generation of criteria and prediction of transportation and handling loads for KSR-III. The results show that the shipping container is well designed to satisfy the design requirements. The maximum vibration level recorded during whole transportation and handling for KSR-III is less than 2g, the criteria of KSR-III movement condition.

In this paper, a higher harmonic control (HHC) methodology is applied to find the optimum input scenario for the vibratory hub loads reduction. A comprehensive aeroelastic analysis code, CAMRAD II, is used to model the HART (Higher-harmonic-control Aeroacoustic Rotor Test) II rotor, and parametric study is conducted for the best HHC inputs leading to a minimum vibration (MV) condition. The resulting outcomes are compared with the earlier HART II test results. It is indicated that the control input adopted in the MV condition showed less satisfactory results. The new MV condition obtained in the present investigation can achieve 45% lower vibration level than the baseline uncontrolled condition. The optimum HHC input results lead to 3/rev harmonic input having $0.8^{\circ}$ amplitude and $350^{\circ}$ phase angle. About 5% reduction in the required power is possible but accompanies with the increase of vibration level.

This paper describes a helicopter vibration induced by main rotor in forward flight. The hub loads in the fixed frame, which are dominant source of helicopter vibration, are obtained by multi-blade summation of rotating blades loadings. The components of 3/rev, 4/rev, and 5/rev blades loadings are transmitted by blades to 4/rev hub loads in the fixed frame. The vertical vibrations of helicopter at pilot seat and copilot seat are calculated through rigid body transfer functions considering airframe to be rigid body. The blades are assumed to be elastic and undergo the flap, lag, and torsion motion and free wake aerodynamic model is used to calculate the precise blade loadings in the analysis. The 4/rev vertical vibration responses are analyzed from rotating blade loadings and fixed hub loadings.

In this study, the hub vibration load characteristic is evaluated for a rotor in high advance ratio conditions while investigating blade loads through the structural load prediction and harmonic analysis. Numerical studies are performed to validate the wind tunnel test data performed in NASA as the rotor advance ratios are varied from 0.40 to 0.71. A good correlation is obtained for rotor performance calculation at the range of advance ratios considered. It is observed that the hub vibration loads remain almost unchanged when the advance ratios are higher than 0.5, even though the amplitudes of blade structural loads become larger with increasing advance ratios. A harmonic analysis on blade moments is confirmed that the dominant structural mode is 3/rev component for flap bending moments and 4/rev for lag bending moments. The reason is due to the tendency of the second flap and lag mode frequencies which approach 3/rev and 4/rev, respectively, as the advance ratios are increased.
Recently, the vibration of underground structure due to high speed railway loads has been increased substantially as compared with middle and slow speed. The buried gas pipelines under continuous impact forces and repeated loading are more influenced by the vibrational loads than another pipelines. However, the static analysis was not enough to allow for the effect of vibrations because it uses impact factors for the design or analysis process. In this study, characteristics of Pipelines was quantitatively estimated through each conditions of soil covers and train speed, and the new vibration prediction is presented about the vibrational velocity.
