The Effects of Perceived Social Stigma on the Life Satisfaction of Sexual Minorities (사회적 낙인 인식이 성소수자의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The primary goal of this study is to examine the factors that affect how satisfied sexual minorities are with their lives. This study focuses on how sexual minorities perceive social stigma, the social influences involved in its perception, and the effects this perception has. Using stress-coping theory, this study looks at how social stigma, as a perceived stress, affects social support and self-esteem, how the stigma influences the degree to which individuals "come out" in an effort to cope, and the resultant effects of this coping mechanism on life satisfaction. The data used if from a sample of 478 individuals who self identify as gay, lesbian or bisexual. It was collected through an online survey. Using SEM, the quality was evaluated by analyzing the measurement model, and the relationship of the variables included in the theoretical model was verified by analyzing the structural model. The results of this study show that social stigma directly affects the life satisfaction of Korean sexual minorities. It significantly influences the social support they receive(from family and sexual minority peers), and their self-esteem. The degree to which the individual "comes out" is shown to affect life satisfaction as well. In contrast, the mediating effect of heterosexual support is shown to be insignificant. Based on the analyses, practical strategies regarding social stigma, social support, self-esteem, and "coming out" are suggested for sexual minorities. The social stigma should be reduced and society-scaled campaigns promoted in order to improve their level of life satisfaction. In addition, institutional protection should be developed and specialized educational courses on human rights provided which will empower these minorities with self-help mechanisms. Furthermore, issues such as establishing support system and providing a social welfare system for the sexual minority community are discussed.

  • The object of this study is to improve obstacles related with physical affordance and cognitive affordance by adopting Norman's theory for affordance of mobile application of museum education. As to conduct the study, I have selected the mobile device application of G museum for the need of observation and interviewing, and have applied think aloud protocol to analyse matters of affordance. By this study, learners will be possible to conduct appropriate behavior instantly under the circumstance of unfamiliar museum mobile environment because of sophisticated design to make learners perceive and understand information provided with designed interface based on realistic improvement that will be made by inspecting possible problems of affordance in position of museum education mobile system users. Additionally learners will be able to control contents of museum and to experience interactive learning which motivate exploratory activity to accomplish meaningful learning.

  • After SERVQUAL was proposed as a measure of perceived service quality, several arguments have been made against its validity and some competing measures have been developed. This paper reviews those controversies. Particularly, it compares the concept of expectation in the research of service quality with that in the research of satisfaction, re-purchase intention and suggests the authors' opinion. In addition, the paper suggests sequential casual relations among expectation, perceived performance and perceived service quality. With the help of previous researches concerning "SERVQUAL" and the related topics, six variables concerning travel services were identified. The six variables are tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurances, empathy and costs. Seven hypotheses were developed using these variables. The review of literature covers service's concept, model and method of service quality evaluation, and relationship among the concepts which is related to the service quality. The results of our study suggest further research is necessary to clarify which one is a better tool because we have a conflicting research outcome in terms of model fitting. The study also shows that assurances and costs have positive effect on customer satisfaction. It also turned out that customer satisfaction has positive effect on repurchase intention.

  • Formation of optical meaning shown in the picture book screen is the original expression method in that it makes you understand properties or characteristics of subjects more easily and faster adding another images to them, exaggerating or reducing them as well as shows the phenomenon that you try to deliver. In this study, I first prepared the framework of classification on metaphorical expression methods of the picture books' illustration through theoretical study on the optical metaphorical characteristics and expression forms to analyze how the metaphorical expression methods shown in the picture books for children works optically and psychologically to them. Also, I divided the expression form into 2 types to derive optical psychological perceptional response of children through the empirical survey and analyzed linguistic psychological response of children by type utilizing it as the survey materials of in-depth interviews. Finally, I think that the result of this study will help screen production based on personality and creativity of illustrators and, in addition, it will be utilized in studies and tests of the effective expression methods for students who learn illustration.

  • 와관과 실체의 갈등은 문학작품의 주제 중에서 가장 보편적이면서도 복잡한 양상을 지니고 있다 희곡 Macbeth에 있어서 이주제는 Shakespeare의 어느 작품에서보다도 핵심적인 역할을 하며 특히 외관과 실체의 주제를 시각적으로 보여주는 복식이미저리는 그의 주제를 상징적으로 나타내는 데 효과적일 뿐만 아니라 극적 분위기 창조 및 무대사에서배우들의 의상변화로 인한 시각적이미저리 효과를 극대화 시키고 있다 본 연구의 목적은 Macbeth에 내재된 복식 이미저리를 고찰하고 이를 가장 최근에 공연된 macbeth의 무대의상에 적용 분석함으로써 무대의상 제작시 복식 이미저리의 효과적인 무대적용 여부를 파악하는 것이다.연구의 방법은 먼저 이론적인 배경으로 희곡 Macbeth의 본문을 분석하여 복식이미지저리와 관계된느 대사 및 지문 등을 추출한 다음이를 하나의 케이스 연구대상으로 선정된 1996 RSC극단 공연의 Macbeth 무대의상에 적용하여 분석 고찰 하였다 본 연구에서 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다 첫째 자신의 실체를 파악하지 못한 인물이나 혼동하는 인물은 자신의 신분에 맞지 않은 남의 의상을 적응기간조차 없이 착용함으로써 결국은 자신을 파멸로 몰고가는 복식 이미저리가 제시되어 있었다 둘째 자신의 실체를 분명히 지각하고 있는 인물들은 새로운 복식이나 신분에의 적응은 많은 시간과 노력을 요한다는 것을 매우 잘 파악하고 있었으며 이것은 그들의 대사 중에 구체적으로 제시되어있었다 1막1장의 Banquo 의 대사 중에 나오는'새로운복식'과 '새로운 신분'에 비유 2막 4장의 macduff의 대사중에 나오는 '새로브'와 '헌로브'의 비유 5막 2장의 Caithness의 '자제력의혁대'등의 비유는 복식이미저리의 구체적인 표현으로 분석되었다. 셋째 복식 이미저리의 측면에 1996 RSC의 Macbeth 무대의상을 분한 결과 이의상들에는 '난쟁이가 훔쳐 입은 거인의 옷' 으로 대표되는 복식 이미저리가 직접적으로 제시되지는 않았지만 공연전체를 통하여 무대장치 및 의상에 변화를 주지 않음으로써 이 작품의 초시한성과 복식이미저리를 오히려 역설적으로 표현하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 따라서 이공연의 의상 계획은 복식 이미저리의 역설적인 한 표현으로 분석되었으며 관객에게 등장인물의 외곤은 그 실체를 그대로 반영한다는 Shakespeare 본래의 의도를 잘 보여주는 의상계획으로 파악되었다 이러한 결과는 Shakespeare극의 무대의상 디자인 및 제작시 무대의상이 단순한 무대의상 그 이상의 의미로 고려되어져야 함을 보여주며 이는 관객에세 의미 깊은 메시지로 전달될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • This study suggest that firms can use online brand communities as an IMC tool to achieve high brand loyalty through marketer-controlled or loyal customer-controlled brand contacts. In this perspective, the online brand community as a marketing communication tool can help the firm in eliciting favorable responses from customers. This study finds that an online brand community, as a critical marketing promotion tool, helps a firm elicit favorable relationship with customers and build strong brand loyalty. In particular, this study suggests several important theoretical and managerial implications. First, this study confirm that "advertising usefulness" is the most powerful and important factor that affects cgerial 's positive emotionomehile "sales promotion usefulness" impacmehin "interactivity" but dies not impacmhin "cgerial iexperience"ltyevent usefulness" impacmehin "cgerial iexperience"but dies not impacmhin "interactivity." An Impact of Skin Care Service Quality on Perceived Reciprocity and Long-term Relationship Orientation (피부미용 서비스품질이 호혜성지각·장기적 관계지향에 미치는 영향)

  • With the increasing number of skin care shops, service quality development that can meet the customer needs is needed to obtain differentiated competitive advantage. Accordingly this study was attempted to provide basic data on marketing necessary for operating a skin care shop by identifying the impact of service quality on perceived reciprocity and long-term relationship orientation among the customers using a skin care shop. This study conducted a survey of 290 female customers using skin care shops located in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, Jeollanamdo and Jeollabukdo, and Gyeongsangnamdo and Gyeongsangbukdo through personal visit, e-mail, and post service, and the collected data were analyzed with SPSS Ver. 18.0 and Amos Ver. 18.0. As a result, it was proven that overall goodness-of-fit to the theoretical model of the research hypotheses set in this study is good. In Hypothesis 1, "Skin care specialist's work ability, facility and sanitation, and care products had a significant positive (+) impact on perceived reciprocity," which was partially adopted. In Hypothesis 2, "Skin care specialist's work ability, care products, and devices and tools had a significant positive (+) impact on long-term relationship orientation," which was adopted. In Hypothesis 3, "Perceived reciprocity had a significant positive (+) impact on long-term relationship orientation," which was adopted. Therefore, it can be concluded that skin care specialist's work ability, facility and sanitation, care products, and devices and tools are the service quality elements for allowing customers to feel thankful or encouraging them to visit the skin care shops continuously.

  • The purpose of this study is to discuss the elements and meanings of the performative scenography which has been revealed through the new directorial interpretation and deconstruction process of the musical 『All Shook Up』. The performative scenography characteristics after postmodernism aim to create individual active perceptions and various social meanings through audience's voluntary and particular emergence. To this end, the theoretical foundation of scenography was examined by periods in advance. Based on this, I attempted to establish performative scenography for synthesized scenic and media design through the reconstruction process for the 『All Shook Up Travelers』. As a result, I set up visual narrative based world of 『All Shook Up Travelers』 which was produced by text-based intense images for a direct medium in order to expand actors' inner narrative and established unique performative scenography of its own: 1. enhancing the adapted one's narratives for the actors' and audience's co-existence and detachment, 2. delivering its own independent meanings which have double meanings, 3. encouraging audience's critical and active perception experiences through collage and montage of media.

Study on Air Logistics Service Provider's Performance Under Post Covid19 Situation: Focusing on Trust and Reciprocity (포스트 코로나 시대의 항공물류 서비스기업의 경영성과에 대한 연구: 신뢰 및 호혜 개념을 중심으로)

  • Due to COVID 19, we are facing unprecedented phenomena. Among various industries, the aviation industry, as it is directly affected by the corona crisis is actively establishing various survival strategies, such as expanding cargo transportation. The market size of air cargo transportation is continuously increasing due to the characteristics that distinguish it from other transportation, and as individualism and selfishness deepen in the aftermath of COVID 19, it can be inferred that the concept of reciprocity within distribution channels will become important in the post-corona era. The specific contents of this study(research question) are as follows. First, as a central member of the air logistics distribution channel, logistics service companies business process and the sub-dimensions of trust of are identified, and how trust is built with transportation companies is investigated. Second, the effect of such trust on the various performances of logistics service companies is analyzed. Third, we examine whether the influences of the sub-dimensions of trust change according to the perceived reciprocity of logistics service companies. In addition, we investigate whether the perceived reciprocity changed before and after the corona situation. In particular, this study theoretically integrates the concepts of trust and commitment, which have been distinguished in many prior studies, to improve the parsimony and practicality of the research model. This study will be able to present useful academic and practical implications by empirically examining how trust is built between members of the air logistics distribution channel and furthermore, how much it affects the performance of logistics service companies, and by identifying the moderating effect of reciprocity.

A Study On User Experience Based Storydoing Operating Principles (사용자 경험 기반 스토리두잉의 작동원리에 관한 연구)

  • Along with the spotlight of storytelling, storydoing has attracted public's attention as it has been utilized in various different areas. There are valued message by producer and story to back it up in the storydoing. Recipient will acknowledge the affordance encouraged by producer and confirm the message by practicing it. Finally producer will evaluate the practice process. Therefore, storydoing promotes the product of company, strengthens the brand image and delivers message and value through a previously mentioned cycle. Ultimately, storydoing is operated based on user's experience. In this study, based on the experience theory of John Dewey, in order to discover how the interactivity and continuity operate story doing, we conducted a study on the concept of storydoing, the national and international story doing status, the difference between storytelling and storydoing, the elements of story doing, the relationship with user experience, and the principle of operating story doing. As a result, we learned that story doing had the five elements of message, story, characters, action, and confirmation, and operated by the interaction and continuity between the producer and receptor. Thus, through this research to understand the nature of storydoing, we have identified new trends of the cultural industries and discovered the possibilities to expand the application scope of storydoing, which was currently applied by companies to promote their brand images, onto contents field. More importantly, the proposal of theoretical differences between storytelling and storydoing makes this report meaningful in terms of sociocultural, industrial and academic aspect.
