It is aimed to explore the impact of various dimensions of transformational leadership on employee performance and satisfaction, and to try to find the acting mechanism of the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance. The study used a questionnaire survey method and SPSS23.0 for statistical analysis. Through the analysis of 378 questionnaire surveys, it was found that the four constituent variables of transformational leadership would have different degrees of influence on job performance and satisfaction. Enterprise leaders should put emphasis on the choice of leadership style and pay special attention to the work attitude of employees. This study provides useful enlightenment for companies to carry out human resource management work. However, this study did not verify whether job satisfaction has an intermediary role in between transformational leadership and job performance, which is also an area that needs to be further studied in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of automobile logistics in the domestic automobile industry and to derive and evaluate the factors to improve the quality of automobile logistic services to final consumers. To that end, we selected the relevant factors through literature review and expert interviews, and conducted a survey with consumers and experts. The quality of automobile logistic service was evaluated using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results show that the "kindness of shipping staff" is high on the importance of customers but low on the importance of employees. On the other hand, factors that have high customer satisfaction but low staff satisfaction include "rapid handling of complaints", "transportation accuracy of receipt", "kindness of delivery staff", and "automobile manual guide and explanation of internal functions". This study has academic and industrial significance in that it has derived important factors for evaluating the quality of automobile logistics services and suggests improvement measures for experts and consumers who actually work in the industrial field. Future research should investigate measures to minimize the returns and complaints of shipment offices which have not been examined in this study.

  • This study investigated the perception and experience of users who visited in Seoul office of the National Archives, a branch of the National Archives of Korea(NAK). For collecting data, the study utilized the Researcher Survey Toolkit developed by Archival Metrics Project and revised the questionnaire to reflect services of NAK. Questionnaires completed by 47 users were collected and analyzed, and interviews with one survey respondent and two staff were performed. It was found that the purpose of the visit is mostly to identify records that prove land ownership of users' ancestors. Types of records frequently used were also those concerning lands and forests. User feedback on the staff was generally positive, and users perceived them to be helpful and kind. However, there was an opinion that the staff did not provide accurate information about whether NAK hold records that the user wanted to find. The staff also said that it was challenging to confirm where requested records are located when providing services for users. User evaluation on the usefulness and the ease of use of NAK portal services was not very positive, and it was perceived to be very inconvenient to search in the portal. Overall, users were satisfied with the services of NAK, although some users suggested that services need be provided efficiently, and NAK must clarify the criteria for the non-disclosure of public records.

  • The purpose of this study explores the relationship between male inmates' gender stereotypes for female correctional officers and its impact on their stress level while they are doing their time in prisons. To fulfill the purpose of this study, this study uses a set of survey data of 216 male inmates collected from prisons nationwide. The data contains information regarding male inmates' perceptions towards male and female correctional officers as well as their stress level in prisons. The findings of this study suggest that male inmates have low level of gender stereotype against female correctional officers. Further, this study found that none of male inmates' gender perceptions toward female officers has impact on the inmates' reported stress. Rather, perceptions toward the entire correctional officers, which include both gender officers, have influence on the inmates's stress during incarceration. This finding suggests that male inmates consider female officers as a part of professional correctional organization without specific gender stereotype or perceptions toward female officers. It indicates that the concerns regarding the relationship between male inmates and female officers may be a mere myth rather than a serious issues that need to be considered as a barrier for expand female officers carrier opportunity in the corrections systems. Finally, Implications for the research findings for preventing suicide attacks are discussed.
