A Study on the Efficient Management of Job-related Collections in College Libraries (전문대학 도서관 취업관련자료의 효율적 활용방안 연구)

  • This study tried to suggest a plan for an efficient management and utilization of job-related collections closely connected to the job education field of colleges. The data were collected through data inquiry, telephone interview inquiry and questionnaire and based on the results of the analysis, an efficient utilization plan of job-related collections was derived. It reached a result that it is desirable that libraries initiatively operate job-related collections but in consideration of the approachability, use convenience and utilization of students, the display and management of materials are performed jointly with libraries and employment departments. In addition, so as to plan the development of the job-related collections, libraries need to develop the common basic major materials by major to consider the characteristics as well as educational purposes of colleges and develop the core employment major data connected to major related certificates and intensively secure job practice focused materials.

  • The police is huge career civil service organization. In 1999, police organization employed 7,801 persons as a new hiring. The police had revised employment system several times for competent human resources. But, it is true that much improvements need yet for person's employment which equip eligibility. Specially, discussions need for many new hirings by duty police system abrogation. Career civil service system is impossible of dismissal after permanent appointment. It is true that competitive rate of police officer examination much rose. But it's not important about organization development in addition this unconnects with competent resources. Must change police officer employment system for organization's future development. This study proposed policy about improvement way of examination for service step, field training officer and appointment.

A Study on Culinary Staffs' Subjective Perception of Star Chefs' Appearance in Cooking Broadcast (스타셰프의 쿡방 출연에 대한 조리사의 주관적 인식에 관한 연구)

  • As a research on culinary staffs' subjective perception of star chefs' appearance in cooking broadcast, this study analyzed the subjective tendency targeting culinary staffs in hotels & restaurants by applying Q methodology. Three research questions of this study were set up like below. First, what are the culinary staffs' acceptance types of subjective perception of star chefs' appearance in cooking broadcast? Second, what are the characteristics of homogeneous type of culinary staffs' subjective perception of star chefs' appearance in cooking broadcast? Third, what are the things in common and differences of culinary staffs' each subjective perception type of star chefs' appearance in cooking broadcast? In the results of typological analysis based on such research questions, total four types were drawn such as Acquiring expertise through cooking broadcast type(Type1, N=8), New broadcast genre recognition type(Type2, N=10), The profession of the chef reality recognition type(Type3, N=2), and Profession image of chef synergy type(Type4, N=2). Each type showed its own distinctive characteristics.

  • Traffic congestion has become severe in large metropolitan areas by the travel behavior of employees as the low rate of vehicle occupancy and the high rate of Private auto using. In order to relieve traffic congestion, central and local government plan to implement diverse transportation demand management strategies. The governments want to know what employment types and locations in different metropolitan areas lead to the highest rate of vehicle occupancy and Private auto use. This study suggest that in large metropolitan areas, the employment locations of urban and suburban as well as the employment type of service show low vehicle occupancy. In medium metropolitan sizes. low vehicle occupancies are observed in service employment as well as in the employment locations of CBD. CBD fringe. In small metropolitan areas, a low rate of vehicle occupancy exists in service employment as well as in the employment locations of urban and suburban areas. A high rate of auto use shows not only in basic employment but also in the employment locations of CBD and CBD fringe.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide analysis resources to develop high standard questions by analyzing item characteristics and item usability of 'Basic course of Information Technology' in the College Scholastic Ability Test, For the qualitative research, this paper analyzed content validity. For the quantitative research, this paper analyzed item difficulty, item discrimination, item reliability, and distracters. As a result of analyzing tests in 2005 and 2006, questions were equally extracted from educational contents. However, the standard of questions were in need of revision. The development of high quality contents in Vocational Education Section was needed in order to meet to the College Scholastic Ability Test standards. Therefore, it is required to develop various difficulties and acceptable distinguishable questions.

  • 1970년대 이후 도시 중심의 급속한 공업화 정책을 추진한 결과, 농촌의 저발전 문제에 직면하고 있다. 1980년대 중반부터 이에 대한 대응전략으로서 농공단지 개발을 통한 산업유치, 농산물 가공산업 개발 및 유통체계 개선, 관광농업 개발 등이 논의되어 왔다. 오늘날에 와서는 WTO 체제 하에서 농산물 무역자유화가 보편적인 규범으로 자리잡아 가면서 이러한 변화를 더욱 재촉하고 있다. 이 글의 목적은 농공단지와 관광농원을 중심으로 우리 나라 농산업 발전과정을 고찰하고, 향후 발전 방향을 제시하는 데 있다. 농공단지와 관광농원 육성사업의 특성과 성패요인을 분석하는 데 있어서 이용된 자료는 주로 2차자료이다. 농공단지조성사업의 성과에 대한 많은 논란에도 불구하고, 개량적인 지표는 그것이 농촌지역경제 활성화에 직간접적으로 공헌하였음을 보여준다. 농촌노동력의 66.1%를 고용하고, 이들에게 1인당 월 평균 70만원 이상의 소득을 제공해 주었으며, 서비스업 등 관련산업의 성장에도 영향을 미쳤기 때문이다. 그러나 농공단지조성사업은 많은 문제점도 안고 있다. 농촌지역에 숙련 노동자가 부족하며 직업훈련 기회 및 창업지원 프로그램이 도시지역에 집중되어 있다. 또한 입주 기업이 농산물이나 골재 등 현지 자원을 활용하는 경우가 매우 적은 것으로 나타나고 있다. 이에 대한 대응책으로서 농촌 주민들이 손쉽게 참여할 수 있는 직업훈련 프로그램을 개발하여 제공해야 하며, 경영과 시장정보 분석 등을 기술적으로 지원할 수 있는 효과적인 지도체계를 구축해야 한다. 관광농업은 새롭게 떠오르는 산업이다. 아직 기반이 취약하지만 국가 경제성장과 도시화 진행 추이에 비추어 볼 때 관광농원은 점차 증가할 것으로 전망된다. 하지만 이 산업의 지속적인 발전을 위해서는 정책의 유연성을 확보해야 하고, 농원운영자의 경영능력이 향상되어야 하며, 수요의 계절성을 극복해야 하는 등의 과제를 안고 있다. 또한 공동운영 형태의 농원에 있어서는 참여자들을 효과적으로 조직하고, 토지소유권 분쟁을 해소해야 하는 문제가 있다. 무엇보다도 아직 이 산업의 기반이 취약하다는 전제 위에 점진적이고 지속적인 재정과 기술지원이 요청되고 있다. 다양한 운영 프로그램의 개발과 지역내 네트웍 형태의 연계개발 방식의 채택이 필요하며, 관광농원이나 농어촌휴양지 개발지역에서는 산업개발 및 주거지 개발계획이 관광여건 조성과 총체적으로 연계되어야 할 것이다.

Critical Literature Review on Exposure Assessment Methods for Metalworking Fluids in Epidemiological Cancer Study (금속가공유 노출과 암 발생위험역학조사에서 금속가공유 노출 평가 방법에 대한 고찰)

  • 그 동안 많은 역학연구를 통해서 금속가공유(metalworking fluid, MWFs) 노출과 여러 조직에서 암 발생 위험과의 관계를 밝혔지만, 금속가공유 종류(비수용성, 수용성, 합성, 준합성)별로 구분된 위험은 아직 완전하게 규명되지 않았다. 역학조사에서 금속가공유 노출을 대체할 수 있는 인자(surrogate)로서 정성적(qualitative), 명목적(ordinal) 혹은 준정량적인(semi-quantitative) 변수들(금속가공유에 대한 노출 유무, 노출 정도: 높음, 낮음 등, 직업 유무, 근무기간 등)을 이용하여 금속가공유 노출을 평가하였다. 이러한 노출평가방법은 기본적으로 금속가공유 노출 강도(intensity)가 고려되지 않을 뿐만 아니라 노출 분류 오류(misclassification)도 항상 존재할 수 있어 금속가공유 노출은 물론이고 종류별 위험을 밝히기 어렵다. 일부 역학연구에서 금속가공유 종류별 누적 노출양(cumulative exposure level)과 암위험과의 관계를 밝혔다. 이러한 연구결과들은 모두 금속가공유 종류별로 과거노출을 추정할 수 있는 자료(정량적인 노출평가자료, 과거직업력, 취급했던 금속가공유 종류 등)가 잘 기록되어 있는 1개의 대규모 자동차공장에서 나온 것들이다. 따라서 금속가공유에 대한 노출자료가 부족하고 사용특성에 대한 기록이 없거나 부족한 일반 인구나 산업을 대상으로 한 역학연구에서는 금속가공유의 종류별 위험을 밝히는것은 불가능하다. 금속가공유 종류별로 과거 노출에 대한 확률(probability)을 추정하는데 일반적으로 활용할 수 있는 노출확률 메트릭스를 개발하는 것이 필요하다.

Relationships among Job Characteristics, Knowledge Sharing, Organizational Culture, and Organizational Commitment in Occupational Health Nurses and Clinical Nurses (보건관리자와 임상간호사의 직무특성, 지식공유 및 조직문화가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the relationships among job characteristics, knowledge sharing, organizational culture, and organizational commitment in occupational health nurses (OHN) and clinical nurses (CN) to identify factors that might influence organizational commitment. It aimed to contribute to the improvement of knowledge management in health care organizations, including industrial workplaces and hospitals. Methods: A convenience sample of 188 nurses, specifically 100 OHN and 88 CN, was selected. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-tests, correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. Results: OHNs had a significantly higher education level and current work experience; higher proportion of participants with contract employment status, day work shift, less turnover experience, good lifestyle; and higher scores on organizational culture ($3.3{\pm}0.61$) and organizational commitment ($3.1{\pm}0.60$). Additionally, the correlations among organizational commitment, job characteristics, knowledge sharing, and organizational culture ware higher (r=.38~.57) among OHNs as compared to those among CNs. Further, the organizational commitment of OHNs was significantly influenced by knowledge sharing, organizational culture, working hours, and salary ($R^2=.32$), while that of CNs was influenced by organizational culture and life event stress ($R^2=.11$). Conclusion: There is a need to develop measures to enable nurses to contribute to the improvement of knowledge management in health care organizations as major human resources, by including interventions for the major factors leading to between-group differences in organizational performance.

Evaluation of the Life and Job Satisfaction of Indie Musicians (인디 뮤지션의 삶과 직업 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • Academic interests have long left from the field of indie musicians, despite of their social and cultural values. This also means indie musician policies have enjoyed lack of evaluation. Main purpose of this study is to understand the indie musicians' environment, music activities and their job satisfaction by employing online survey method which were conducted over 105 Korean indie musicians. Survey results show that indie musicians feel the lack of performing facilities that can hold over 50 seats. Indie musician group with experience of 6 years and more has more chances of performing at big facilities. This group also tends to play more often, and earn more money from music activities. Also, analysis shows that satisfaction level of Indie musicians is affected by two factors - music activities and social reputation. From the results, we can conclude that indie musician policy needs to build grounds to harmonize supports from various field rather than play as a single supporter. Patriarchal attitude that government should do and can do everything is no more in effective at least in indie music field.

Analysis for Factors of Predicting Problem Drinking by Logistic Regression Analysis (로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용한 문제음주 예측요인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors which predict problem drinking on adults. Using the data on the Korea Welfare Panel Study for the 7th year, 3,915 people responded to the demographic factor, psychosocial factors and drinking behavior. And the logistic regression analysis was conducted to identify predictors of problem drinking. As a result, 36 percent of those surveyed showed that the problem drinking group. Gender, age, education, occupation, economic status, self-esteem, depression, and satisfaction of family and social relationships were correlated to alcohol use. In addition, the results of logistic regression, gender, age, education, job, self-esteem, depression were predicted problem drinking. Based on these findings, it is recommended practical counterplan that prevention of the problem drinking.
