The major factor which influence the degree of job stress was job satisfaction. Conclusion: The factors affecting the job stress of school nurses was correlated with one another and influenced to the degree of the job stress directly and indirectly. The factor that affected the degree of the job stress directly was the job satisfaction and the personal values. As shown this result, it is important that the factor of the job stress lies in the mental characteristics.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of job stress, self-efficacy and empowerment of 119 Emergency medical technicians in Jeollanam-do. Methods: This study used the data collected from 346 respondents working for first aid in a fire station. To answer research questions, this study employed frequency analysis, reliability test, F (t)-test, ANOVA, Scheffe' post-hoc test, and multiple-regression analysis. Results: In terms of demographic characteristics, marital status and age had significant impact on job stress, but sex and education did not. In terms of job characteristics, first placement, rank, and tenure made significant difference on job stress, whereas certificate, department, and area did not. These results address that general characteristics, self-efficacy and job stress are critical variables on empowerment. Conclusion: From the research findings, it is concluded that fire fighters' job stress can be reduced if professional development programs are given to them, which is likely to provide better public services such as first aids and welfare, as well as to increase job satisfaction.
Purpose: The study aimed to identify factors influencing work-life balance in female service workers. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with an online survey of 234 service workers using volunteer panels. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire from July 16 to 24, 2017. Major variables included work-life balance, resilience, emotional intelligence, job stress, and fatigue. Using the SPSS 24.0 program, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. Results: The mean score of the work-life balance level of female service workers was $2.9{\pm}0.85$ on a total score of 6. A multiple regression analysis revealed that smoking, resilience, job stress and fatigue were statistically significant factors in the model (p<.001), with an explanatory power of 50.3%. Emotional intelligence was not significantly associated with work-life balance. Conclusion: The level of work-life balance was considerably low in female service workers. This study suggests that nursing interventions to enhance work-life balance are required at both the individual and organizational levels.

The purposes of this study were to identify the factors that affect the life satisfaction of unmarried one-person households and to examine how these factors influence this population. This study targeted 308 unmarried one-person households. The results found the following: one-person households without marriage experience had higher levels of job stress than one-person households with marriage experience, and the level of differentiation of family projections was lower; the overall level of life satisfaction was higher in one-person households without marriage experience than in one-person households with marriage experience; in one-person households without marriage experience, higher life satisfaction correlated with higher levels of self-integration, family projection processes, and family retirement differentiation, and lower job stress, which was correlated with higher self-control ability, higher evaluation and higher material support; and life satisfaction was found to be higher in unmarried one-person households that received more information and had a lower age, lower job stress, and higher monthly income. This study contributes to the literature in that it explores how marital experience interacts with demographic variables, occupational factors, psychological factors, and social support factors and consequently affects the life satisfaction of unmarried one-person households.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the level and related factors related to health-promoting lifestyle in operating room nurses in Korea. Method: A cross-sectional descriptive survey design was employed. The data were collected using questionnaire for three weeks in December 2018 from 110 operating room nurses working for more than six months in a general hospital located in Seoul. The Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile-II, The Korean Version of the Practice Environment Scale of Nursing Work Index, and Operating nurse's Job stress Factor Scale were used. Results: Significant relationships were observed between health promoting lifestyle and educational level(p= .025), perceived economic status (p= .001) wearing a lead apron for protection from radiation during the operation(p< .001), work satisfaction(p= .016), and fatigue related to work(p= .006). Also significant correlations were identified between nursing work environment and health promoting lifestyle. However, the health promoting lifestyle was not statistically different based on occupational stress(p= .365). In multiple linear regression analyses, the level of health promoting lifestyle found to be higher in subjects who did not wear a lead apron for protection from radiation(p= .017), and who had more positive perception of the nursing work environment(p= .034). Conclusion: In order to increase health promoting lifestyle of operating nurses, the strategies to improve the nursing work environment are essential.

Results: The findings revealed that occupational stress and quality of sleep were statistically significant variables of the physical component score with an explanatory power of 42.2%. Occupational stress, depression, and religion were statistically significant variables of the mental component score with an explanatory power of 43.3%. Conclusion: Continuous monitoring and appropriate intervention for occupational stress, quality of sleep, and depression are needed to improve manufacturing workers' health-related quality of life.
Countries recognize seriousness and concern about aviation terrorism, try to stamp out of it but aviation terrorism has been increasing in the world. Airport security is completely up to the result of security screening for passengers, check-in baggages and cargo at the check point. To complete effectively human and physical screening at the airport, it is essential to secure modernized screening equipment and specialized security screener, and airport security supervisor to supervising them. In this study, A survey conducted to find out the effect on screening equipment operating factors of airport security supervisor's individual attitude. The results of the study are as follow First, the duty view of airport security supervisor meaningfully affect expertise of screening equipment operating factors, satisfaction, reliability, and education and training, national point of view meaningfullly doesn't affect screening equipment operating factors. Second, the working condition effects on the education and training, if the working condition is getting better, intent to change occupation is getting lower. Third, duty stress meaningfully effects on the intent to change occupation, now airport security supervisor works in poor condition. Therefore, airport security supervisor needs to be prude of protecting the airport from the terrorism and various attacks and various kinds of aviation security regulations and procedures and comply with operating standards and keep the life of the country and its people, and needs to change awareness. And It is nessasary for government or airport authority or airline to prepare countermeasure for the improvement of their labor conditions.

This study was conducted to examine the correlations between fatigue, health perception, happiness, and health promoting behaviors, and to identify the influencing factors on health promoting behaviors of clinical nurses in two general hospitals. Data were collected from 153 clinical nurses from February 5 to March 30, 2018. Data were collected through personal interviews using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Fatigue according to the general characteristics showed significant differences in drinking and job stress. Health perception according to the general characteristics showed significant differences in disease. Happiness according to the general characteristics showed significant differences in marital status, type of work, clinical career, nursing unit satisfaction, economic level, and job stress. Health promoting behavior according to the general characteristics showed significant differences in clinical career and economic level. Health promoting behaviors showed significant positive correlations with health perception and happiness, but a significantly negative correlation with fatigue. Happiness and economic level, which accounted for 24% of the variance, were significant predictors influencing health promoting behavior in clinical nurses. To improve health promoting behavior in clinical nurses, it is necessary to develop a program that can raise the happiness considering the economic level.
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among potential job-related risks, emotional dissonance, and job turnover intention of caregivers at the long-term care facilities in South Korea, and to explore the potential mediator role of burnout in this association. For the study, survey data of 434 caregivers at long-term care facilities were collected and analyzed using structural equation modeling method. The results showed that high level of caregivers'perception of the potential job-related risks led to increased burnout and turnover intention of caregivers. Second, caregivers'burnout partially mediated the effect of the potential job-related risks on turnover intention. Third, the more caregivers experience emotional dissonance, the higher the possibility of caregivers'burnout. On the other hand, emotional dissonance of caregivers did not give significant direct impact on turnover intention. Burnout fully mediated the relationship between emotional dissonance and turnover intention of caregivers. Lastly, the more caregivers experience burnout, the higher possibility of turnover intention. Based on the results, researchers suggested possible intervention methods as well as preventive measures to reduce the turnover of caregivers at long-term care facilities.
