Study of Oxygen Concentration and Performance under Driving Conditions for Fuel Cell Vehicle (연료전지자동차 운전환경에서 산소농도와 성능에 대한 연구)

  • 산소분압은 연료전지의 성능을 좌우하는 주요한 인자이다. 실생활에서 공기 중 산소농도는 21%이지만 차량이 많은 도심지역에서는 약 20%, 환기시설이 낙후한 지하주차장은 약 18%까지 산소농도가 감소한다. 높은 고도에서 산소농도는21%이지만 산소분압이 낮아져 연료전지자동차의 효율이 감소하는 영향이 발생될 수 있다. 농도에 따른 연료전지의 성능곡선 결과를 empirical equation에 적용하여 연료전지 자동차의 운전환경에 속하는 산소농도 18$\sim$23% 범위와 고도 0$\sim$4,000 m 범위에서 연료전지의 성능변화를 분석하였다. 공기공급량(SR)이 2일 경우 산소농도에 따른 성능변화를 비교한 결과 산소농도 18%인 성능은 산소농도 21%에 비하여 10%이상 감소하였으며 산소농도 21%를 기준으로 공기공급량이 2인 유량으로 공급할 때 산소농도가 18%까지 낮아질 경우 산소농도 21%에 비하여 22%이상 성능이 감소하는 결과가 나타났다. 고도가 4,000 m인 경우 산소분압은 약 13 kPa까지 낮아지고 이로 인하여 연료전지 성능은 약 25%까지 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This study suggested practical application of climate design on apartment complex with the focus on the use of Cold Air Flow and green building design method. The domestic research on the wind path analysis has been associated since the early 21th century in urban planning and site planning, this initiative study aimed to mitigate the urban heat island effect and to promote the sustainable urban development. It is, however, mostly focused on the flow analysis and heat flow in the urban context, due to the poor application of the wind path analysis in actual planning and design. Special attention is paid to the possibilities of identifying and developing the application methods in relation to Cold Air Flow and building design. This study examined these relations and suggested some trenchant approach to a more comprehensive and efficient use of the wind flow analysis in climate design.

Comparison of Diesel Exhaust Particle Concentration between Large Above-Underground Parking Lots (수도권 일부 대형상가 지상주차장 및 지하주차장의 공기중 디젤엔진배출 입자상물질의 공기중 농도 비교)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted in order to investigate the diesel exhaust particle(DEP) concentrations in the thirteen parking lots of large shopping complex. Methods: The real-time black carbon(BC) concentration was determined using an Aethalometer, and elemental/organic carbon concentration was determined according to the method of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health(NIOSH) 5040. The particle number concentration(NC), lung deposited surface area concentration(LDSA) and geometric mean diameter(GMD) were determined using a DiSCmini aerosol monitor. Results: The average concentration of BC, EC, OC, NC, LDSA and GMD were $19.1{\mu}g/m^3$, $12.6{\mu}g/m^3$, $51.5{\mu}g/m^3$, $94,000particles/cm^{-3}$, $298{\mu}m^2/cm^{-3}$ and 57 nm in all parking lots, respectively, approximately 3-fold higher than those found in the urban outdoor. The average concentration of BC were $21.3{\mu}g/m^3$ in underground parking lots, 3-fold higher than above parking lots. Conclusions: Therefore, the parking lots at the large shopping complex can be considered a potentially dangerous environment with a high concentration of DEP nanoparticles.

Area Extraction of License Plates Using a Artificial Neural Network (인공신경망을 이용한 번호판 영역 추출)

  • In the current study, the authors propose a method for extracting license plate regions by means of a neural network trained to output the plates center of gravity. The method is shown to be effective. Since the learning pattern presentation positions are defined by random numbers, a different pattern is submitted to the neural network for learning each time, which enables it to form a neural network with high universality of coverage. The article discusses issues of the optimal learning surface for a license plate revered by the learning pattern, the effort of suppression learning of the number and headlight sections, as well as the effect of learning pattern enlargement/reduction and of concentration value conversion. Results of evaluation tests based on pictures of 595 vehicles taken at an underground parking garage demonstrated detection rates of 98.5%.

  • 지난 2010년 9월 21일 서울을 비롯한 우리나라 중부지역에 급습한 집중호우로 인하여 저지대 및 지하 공간 등에 상당한 홍수피해가 발생하였다. 이는 도심지역의 기존 수방대책의 한계점을 절실히 드러낸 호우사상으로 향후 극한 강우에 대비한 대응책 마련이 시급할 것으로 판단되며, 이러한 도심지역의 집중호우에 의한 홍수피해를 미연에 방지하기 위한 구조적 대책으로 저류조 설치를 고려해 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 도심지역에 시공이 간편하며 유지관리가 편하고 공사비가 저렴한 PN(Plastic Nodular) 빗물저류조를 설치하였을 경우 타 공법에 비하여 장점으로 부각될 수 있는 효과와 집중호우시 우수저감 효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과 PN 빗물저류조 설치시 상부 토지이용계획이 가능하며 사업비의 절감과 악취, 해충발생에 따른 민원 및 안전사고 등의 문제점이 해소 되는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 호우시에는 방재 기능과 갈수기에는 부족수량을 대체 이용할 수 있으며 평상시 저류조 상부는 근린공원과 체육시설 및 별도의 부족한 차량의 주차장 공간 등으로 이용 가능효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

A Study on the Effective Method of Fire Extinguisher Maintenance In the Underground Parking Lot of the Apartment (아파트 지하주차장 소화기의 유지관리 효율화 방안에 관한 연구)

  • The definition of an apartment is a building more than 5 stories high and which is the standard law. Currently, the number of apartments is increasing much faster than detached houses. Owning an apartment is a normal trend these days. However, the increasing number of apartments has been increasing the number of apartment fires which also has been making social problems. Therefore, this study was conducted for the fire extinguisher among other fire facilities because it is important for initial fire suppression. The research subject is on the fire extinguisher that is in the underground parking lot of 40 apartment complexes which are more than 10 stories. Survey and analysis were conducted for 80 fire extinguishers. There are two fire extinguishers for each apartment. The result of this study is that all installed fire extinguishers are ABC dry chemical type, 92% of them is 3.3kg and that meet the legal height(less than 1.5m). However, the condition such as appearance, inspection, manufactured year, appearance of signs, material of signs, size of signs, etc. was insufficiency. So improvement of law and system that are fire facility construction, maintenance implementation and additional designation of type approval about sign will be needed in my opinion.

  • The stack effect in high-rise buildings is expected more significant at nights in winter due to the large temperature difference between the inside and outside of the buildings. However, the existence of large openings such as natural ventilators on the floor may effect the position of neutral plane, smoke spread at fire and thus obstruct the door openings for rescue. In this paper, the vertical and horizontal pressure distribution with different openings of natural smoke ventilators was experimentally analyzed by investigating pressure differentials.

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅은 환경 및 사용자의 상황을 필요로 하는 곳에 센서 노드들을 부착해 환경 정보를 자율적으로 수집하고, 수집된 정보를 관리 및 제어하여 사용자에게 적합한 서비스를 제공하는 기술이다. 상황인지 미들웨어는 무선 센서들로부터 습득한 정보를 기반으로 사용자게 어떤 서비스를 제공할지 결정한다. 이를 통해 사용자는 적절하게 필요로 하는 서비스를 받을 수 있다. 따라서 현재 유비쿼터스 환경을 제공하기 위해서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 미들웨어에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 우리는 실제 환경을 신속히 판단할 수 있도록 다양한 기기로부터 들어오는 환경 정보들을 수집하여 컴퓨팅 시스템에게 적합한 컨텍스트로 가공하여 관리 및 전달하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 환경 정보를 수집하는 센서, 무선 및 유선 디바이스로부터 전달받은 정보를 컴퓨팅 시스템이 사용하기 적절하도록 수집, 관리, 여과, 통합하는 모니터링 시스템에 대한 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술하였다. 이는 다양한 양식의 정보를 컴퓨팅 시스템이 인식하기 최적의 형태로 변경하여 상황판단 컴퓨팅 시스템이 신속하고 정확하게 상황판단을 할 수 있도록 설계되어있다. 마지막으로 홈 및 지하주차장 시나리오에 기반하여 구현한 상황인지 미들웨어의 환경 모니터링 시스템을 검증하였다.
