The new rocks of the oceanic crust, like basalt, are created in the mid-oceanic ridge, and the magnetic polarities of the rocks are supposed to be oriented as following the Earth's magnetic field. An extensive magnetic survey of total field at sea level reveals mainly unusual north-south magnetic stripes parallel to the axis of the mid-oceanic ridge, especially in the Atlantic Ocean. From this stripes the Earth's magnetic field is considered as repeatedly 'flipped'(the N pole becoming the S pole, and vice versa) and many times over geological time. The discovery of stripes of alternately normal and reversed-magnetized rocks forming the ocean floor has been a key evidence for the sea-floor spreading, continental drift, and plate tectonics. This study introduces a simple apparatus to explain a possible mechanism of the magnetic reversal in the new oceanic crust, which makes a magnetic stripe adjacent to the mid-oceanic ridge. The apparatus shows a bar magnet effect of adjoined stripes to have a special magnetic polarity on the rocks in the center of the mid-oceanic ridge. The new magnetic stripe seems to be generated not only by Earth's magnetic field, but also by neighbored stripes in the mid-oceanic ridge, acting as a bar magnet.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine levels of awareness, attitude and practice of wearing seatbelt of university students using a long distance commute. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used to investigate a convenience sample of 118 university students in Chungbuk province. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, t-test, ANOVA and Scheffe'test using SPSS version 22. Results: A significant positive correlation was found among awareness, attitude and practice. There were statistically significant differences in awareness, attitude and practice according to some of general characteristics(gender, age, commuting time, the last point of no seatbelt, socioeconomic status). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it can be used to develop an accident prevention and health education program.

A smiling face usually has a positive effect on interpersonal relationships by delivering a warm impression. However, the stereotype content model and compensation effect between warmth and competence suggested that warmth perceptions caused by a smiling face could influence competence perceptions negatively. This study examined the negative impact of the advertising endorser's smile on purchase intention in an expensive product category by adopting the self-construal level. The study results showed that consumers with independent-self construal (vs. interdependent self-construal) showed a lower purchase intention when exposed to an ad containing an endorser's smile. In comparison, consumers with interdependent-self construal (vs. independent self-construal) showed a lower purchase intention when exposed to an ad without an endorser's smile. Thus, this study demonstrated a moderating role of self-construal in the relationship between advertising endorser's smile and purchase intention. These findings provide valuable theoretical and practical implications for effective advertising strategies in the expensive product category.

We report a case of a girl with a symptomatic anomaly of medial meniscus. The complaint of the patient was pain and snapping of the knee. The anterior horn of medial meniscus has anomalous insertion which was extended to the intercondylar notch of the femur on the surface of the anterior cruciate ligament, it attached to lateral wall of medial femoral condyle. This anomalous band was not detected in MRI of knee but found during the operation. After resection of anomalous band, the symptoms completely disappeared.

An integrated circuit for magnetic stripe storage system is implemented. All the analog and digital circuits are integrated in one chip. The analog block contains preamplifier, peak detecter, comparator and reference generater. And digital block includes reference window signal generater, up/down counter for F/2F signal measurement, bit-error detection logic, and control logic. Both the encoding and decoding functions for F/2F signal processing are provided. An AGC(automatic gain control) circuit which was included in conventional circuits is eliminated due to optimized circuit design. Misreading prevention circuits are also proposed by fixing up new reference bit when broken bits are detected. The prototype chip is implemented using $0.8{\mu}m$ N-well CMOS technology and operates from 3.3 V to 7.5 V of supply voltage. It occupies a die area of $3.04mm^2(1.6mm{\times}1.9mm)$ and dissipates 8 mW with a 5 V supply voltage.

Physical characteristics of a magneto-rheological(MR) fluid can be influenced by a magnetic field. In the present study, the behaviors of MR fluid are visualized and the shear stresses are measured under the magnetic field for density 1.3, 1.5 and 1.7 $g/cm^3$, and viscosity 100, 1000 and 10000cp. When the magnetic field is applied, particles of MR fluid are arranged along lines of magnetic field. It is observed that the flow pattern of MR fluid under the magnetic field is different from that of MR fluid without the magnetic field. Shear stress of MR fluids under the magnetic field changes significantly. Shear stress by the magnetic field increases the shape of a quadratic equation. When the density changes from $1300kg/m^3$ to $1700kg/m^3$ at 2.0A, the shear stress increases about 33%.

This study aim that definite the relationship between coastal environment and different sand bar communities, as well as to analyze their spatial distribution of barrier island in the Nakdong river estuary. Survey method follow by Braun-Blanquet(1965) and there a total of 118 relev$\acute{e}$'s were undertaken. Definition of the relationships between species and environmental variables with Canonical Correlation Analysis(CCoA) and that to applied these relev$\acute{e}$'s with the RIM(Kim and Kim, 2006) program and that to classification used the SYN-TAX 2000 program(Podani 1979). On the basis of about 118 phytosociological releve's, the vegetation of xeric and hydric type was arranged in twelve plant communities: Xeric type-Pinus thunbergii community,Vitex rotundifolia community, Carex pumila community, Imperata cylindrica var. koenigii community, Miscanthus sacchariflorus community and Calystegia soldanella community, Hydric type-Salix dependens-Calamagrostis epigeios community, Calamagrostis epigeios-Phragmites communis community, Phragmites communis-Ischaemum aristatum community, Phragmites communis community, Scirpus planiculmis community and Suaeda glauca-S. japonica community.These plant communities represents sand dune vegetation and salt marsh vegetation. Widely distributing types in the actual vegetation map were sea club-rush community, reed community in salt marsh, and dry grassland. The edge in the coastal sand bars has zonation that almost distribution by the reed community in salt marsh. But outside of it were distributed sea club-rush community. Dry grassland type distributes higher zone of the center in coastal sand bars. Respectively, the coastal sand dune and salt marsh vegetation types were distributed ocean and inland on the frontier of it.

In this paper, we study the security of key recovery enhanced key exchange protocol. We present a subliminal channel of self-escrowed Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol proposed by P. Paillier and M. Yung in ICISC\`99, and also we present a method to prevent such a subliminal channel. In addition, we review and analyze the weakness of the modified key recovery enhanced key exchange Protocol proposed by C. Kim and p. Lee in PKC 2001.

본 연구는 가족의 구매의사결정에 대한 실증조사로서 성별역할관념론 및 자원이론과 가족구성원의 지각된 영향 간의 관계를 규명하였다. 영향을 주는 구성원은 남편과 아내와 자녀로 한정했으며, 영향을 지각하는 가족구성원은 남편과 아내로 제한하였다. 성별역할관념변수는 Scanzoni Sex-Role Scale(SSRS)로 측정하였으며, 자원변수는 남편과 아내 각자의 수입과 교육수준으로 측정하였다. SSRS 는 요인분석을 사용하여 차원(요인)을 파악한 후 자원변수와 함께 지각된 영향 간의 관계를 규명하기 위하여 다변량 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 요인분석 결과는 Scanzoni(1975)의 분석 결과와 요인구조 면에서 차이가 있었다. SSRS 는 아내의 척도 2 개 차원과 남편의 척도 3 개 차원으로 구성되어 있다. 그러나 본 연구에서 남편의 척도는 1 개의 차원으로 나타났다. 조사대상이 된 제품은 TV, 냉장고, 세탁기, 침대, 장롱, 식탁, 자동차, 남성정장, 여성정장, 여행지로 모두 10 개 였다. 성별역할관념변수의 영향을 분석한 결과는 "제품 특이적"이거나, 영향을 지각하는 "지각주체 특이적"이거나, 성별역할관념의 "차원 특이적" 현상을 보였다. 또한 우리나라의 남편들은 성별역할관념변수에 상관없이 자기의 영향을 더욱더 크게 지각하는 반면, 아내의 영향을 더욱더 적게 지각하는 경향이 있었다. 아내들도 남편보다는 자기의 영향을 더욱더 크게 지각하는 경향이 있으나 남편만큼 강한 것은 아니었다. 이 결과를 분석하면 남편들은 남성우월의 전통을 유지하려는 경향이 높은 반면 아내들은 이런 전통에 변화를 기대하는 진보적 성향을 띠고 있는 것으로 해석된다. 본 연구의 결과 자원이론은 지지를 받지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 다시 말해 자원이론은 부부사이에서 기대했던 영향과 반대 방향으로 나타났을 뿐만 아니라 부모와 자식 간에도 기대했던 것과 반대 방향으로 나타났다.

Angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma is a rare soft tissue tumor that generally affects children and young adults. We report a case of angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma in an 11-year-old boy who complained of a back mass for 3 years. Surgical excision was performed. The excised specimen showed a $4.0{\times}3.6{\times}3.0cm$, well circumscribed, grayish white tumor, with multicystic changes. Histological examination showed proliferation of spindle or round shaped tumor cells. There was a dense fibrous pseudocapsule with prominent chronic inflammatory cell infiltrates.
