The eLoran system is considered the best alternative because the vulnerability of satellite navigation systems cannot be resolved as perfect. Thus, South Korea is in the process of establishing a testbed of the eLoran system in the West Sea. To provide resilient navigation services to all waters, additional eLoran transmitters are required. However, it is difficult to establish eLoran transmitters because of various practical reasons. Instead, the positioning with NDGNSS/AIS source can expand the coverage and its algorithm with applying continuous waves is under development. Using the already operating NDGNSS reference station and the AIS base station, it is possible to operate the navigation system with higher accuracy than before. Thus, it is crucial to predict the performance when each system is integrated. In this paper, we have developed a simulation tool that can predict the performance of terrestrial integrated navigation system using the eLoran system, maritime NDGNSS station and the AIS station. The esitmated phase error of the received signal is calculated with the Cramer-Rao Lower Bound factoring the transmission power and the atmospheric noise according to the transmission frequency distributed by the ITU. Additionally, the simulation results are more accurate by estimating the annual mean atmospheric noise of the 300 kHz signal through the DGPS signal information collected from the maritime NDGNSS station. This approach can further increase the reliability of simulation results.

본 논문에서는 이동 환경에서 지상파DTV의 Delay Profile의 도출을 위하여 이동 상태에서 필드테스트로 측정된 수신데이터에 포함되어 있는 PN 511(Psuedo Noise)코드를 이용하여 다양한 이동환경에서의 ACF(Auto Correlation Function)값을 도출하였다. 또한, 지역별 대표적인 LOS지역, NLOS지역, 중간지역으로 구분되는 대표적인 세 곳을 선정하여 다양한 이동속도에서의 도출된 ACF값을 통해 최대지연, 평균지연, RMS 지연을 도출하여 이동환경에서의 지상파 DTV의 Delay Profile을 제시하였다.

This study tried to examine the validity of the technical and institutional method to perform the purpose of public interest in terrestrial broadcasting. For this purpose, this study concentrated to the rate of direct reception of the terrestrial broadcasting that government and broadcasting company have offered since the digital transition. Results of analysis, it appeared that have not possibility of realization to set the direct receiving antenna and built-in Antenna for enhanced reception of the signal of the terrestrial broadcasting. Second, the MMS, if not enhanced the direct reception, was expected that repeated the retransmission through the pay broadcasting as the time of digital transition. Finally, the disaster broadcast was revealed that reduce the effectiveness of the UHD TV policy because of the mutual interference between frequencies and the incomplete solution of shadow area. According to these results, it is expected to be difficult for a while to perform the purpose of public interest in UHD TV.

KT는 디지털 홈네트워크 사업의 일환으로 2004년 셋탑 기반의 홈엔VOD서비스를 제공한 바 있으며, IP망을 통한 방송서비스의 기반을 마련하기 위해 가입자단까지 IP-멀티캐스팅이 가능한 장비로 교체하여 BcN시범사업의 일환으로 KT CAST 서비스를 제공한 바 있다. 그리고 2006년에는 IPTV사업자로 선정되어 2007년 7월 VOD및 양방향 데이타 서비스만을 포함한 iCOD 서비스를 서울 지역을 시작으로 전국으로 확대 제공하였으며 실시간 방송에 대한 KT의 다각적인 노력의 결실로 지상파 방송서비스에 대한 정부 규제가 풀려 2008년 11월부터 지상파 실시간 방송을 포함하여 다양한 채널 방송이 가능해졌다. 본 논문에서는 일련의 KT가 준비하고 제공하였던 여러 형태의 디지털 영상서비스의 발전 단계를 소개하고 앞으로 메가TV가 나아가야 할 방향에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

현재 지상파 DMB 재난경보방송 표준은 MATE 또는 BWS에서 정의한 URL 문법을 사용하여 추가적인 멀티미디어 자료를 참조할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 하지만, 현재 우리나라에서 활발하게 사용 중인 TPEG 메시지를 참조하는 방법은 정의되어 있지 않다. 본 고에서는 지상파 DMB 재난경보방송의 메시지가 TPEG 메시지를 참조하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 우선 AEAS와 TPEG에 대한 분석을 진행한다. 이러한 분석을 기반으로 하여 생성자 링크 방법과 전송자 링크방법의 두 가지 링크 방법을 제안한다. 두 방법 중 방송 지역의 넓이와 TPEG 서비스를 제공하는 전송자의 수에 따라 한 가지를 선택할 수 있다.

최근 3D 입체영상이 핫 이슈로 떠오르면서 관련 업계에서는 여세를 몰아 제품 개발이나 마케팅에 총력을 기울이고 있으며 방송, 영화, 게임 등에 접목하여 차세대 핵심 산업을 견인하고 있다. 특히, Post-HDTV 이후 3DTV 방송은 국내외 표준화 단체를 중심`으로 표준화 및 다양한 3DTV 실험방송 서비스가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이를 반영하듯, 케이블 및 위성 매체기반의 상용 3DTV 방송이 서비스 중에 있으며 이를 점차 지상파에도 적용하기 위하여 각 지역 방송표준단체는 타 표준단체들과 공조를 통하여 표준화를 진행 중에 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 다양한 디지털방송 플랫폼에서 적용이 가능하며 종래의 디지털방송과 호환성을 유지하면서 3DTV 방송서비스를 제공하기 위한 시스템 및 시그널링 방식을 소개한다. 특히, 시그널링 부분은 지상파/케이블/위성 매체에서 스테레오스코픽 비디오를 서비스하기 위하여 공통적으로 적용되는 기술로서 국내에서는 TTA를 중심으로 현재 MPEG 국제 표준화에 참여 중에 있다.

In order to fill the gaps in DTV coverage, KBS Technical Research Institute has researched on DTV on-channel repeating systems as well as DTV translators. The on-channel repeater can reuse frequency resources for expanding service coverage. but it has also many restricts in applications for ATSC DTV system. Thiss Paper compares two kinds of DTV on-channel repealer systems and also presents field test results of both systems. From these results, we Infer their characteristics and summarize the conditions and possibilities of the application for our broadcasting networks.

In this paper, a digital terrestrial TV reception antenna which can be applied to the fade zone was designed and investigated. The proposed antenna was configured for a wire antenna structure with $16cm{\times}14cm$, and the antenna parameters are calculated by using the MoM method. The proposed antenna can be used to the receiver for domestic digital broadcast in UHF.

This study considered the factor of the adoption of the satellite DMB. This study focus on the TV audience's demographic traits and media usage. The results are follows : 1) the elder-aged group, high-educated group and car driver group have high intention to be subscriber for the satellite DMB service. 2) the white collar group and the middle income group have high intention to be subscriber for the satellite DMB service. 3) the many media use group and the many function use of mobile phone group have high intention to be subscriber for the satellite DMB service. 4) the local TV audience like the entertainment genre in video and audio service and the information genre in data service 5) the local TV audience don't mind of the re-transmission territorial broadcasting by the satellite DMB service.
