Prior to the concrete and practical use of closed schools, this study was designed to identify trends in the use of closed schools, and the possibility and direction of the library's use of closed schools based on the status of closed schools and use cases. As a result of the case analysis, the building of libraries using closed schools can be reborn as libraries with different characteristics from general public libraries, such as providing complex cultural spaces, eco-friendly spaces, and local community places. In addition, based on the results of the study, future direction of library closure is suggested as follows: Provide local economic contribution and local revitalization opportunities, life-friendly and friendly space for local residents, recycling space linked with elderly welfare, care service, urban to rural Immigrants, creation of added value and creation of local business using closed schools, environment-friendly space, recycling as a complex community center, recycled into a space that meets and complements local needs.

This study aims to develop digital archives for honam catholic history institute. To achive the goal, this study considers historical archives of honam catholic history institute. Also, this study proposed an effective archiving method based on OSS(open source software) for contents collection, management, preservation and service. Archiving of local cultural contents can contribute to the local development along with cultural industry policy. This study performed interview with people in charge of management of archives to extract general requirements for implementation of local archives. With the results, this study limitations of current archives management and considerations of implementation of local archives. This study proposed a method to effectively solve the limitations through the processes.

The purpose of this study is to show practices of teaching method based on the type of knowledge in geography education. The results of examining the type of knowledge according to the five themes in guidelines for geographic education in america are as follows: the empirical-analytic knowledge-centered contents are suited for designing concepts inquiry-centered teaching. The historical-hermeneutic knowledge-centered contents are suited for designing problem solving-centered teaching. The critical knowledge-centered contents are suited for designing decision-making-centered teaching. In this shsdy, 1 emphasized teaching method based on the type of knowledge in Ceographv Education according to the responses of students and academic achievement. However, in practice l propose that teachers construct their lesson plans according to their various spheres of interest.

Today, people who live in sea of information are strongly appearing desire about quicker and more accurate information. For a long time people wanted to know information about place that I am and where I must go out, and there are various methods to have a keen desire for position information. Equipment that is using most among the method is digital camera. In this study, the accuracy of external orientation, GCP and check point depending on array of GCP and regional feature are analyzed after AT(aerial triangulation) with UltraCamX in three selected study area with specific feature. As analysis result, we could get to know that area with a mountainous district rapidly decreased accuracy of external orientation according as number of GCP decreases, and area with high buildings became low in vertical accuracy of checkpoint. This study has performed the analysis of regional factors in aerial triangulation accuracy.

This study focuses on the characteristic of community making in urban areas and the implications in the case of Samduck-Dong, Daegu City. This study observed the geographic feature of Samduck-Dong, the background and process of community making and the citizen's interests and respondence. Samduck-Dong is located near CBD of Daegu and surrounded by useful places and facilities. This area is perceived as an attractive housing environment. As the commercial function is increased and the studio type house for rent, so called one room, is constructed, it is anticipated to get some trouble of building up community. The program of community making in Samduck-Dong, started from wall removal, is attempted diversly now. The places in relation to community making became a representative character of Samduck-Dong. However, there is problems of citizen's participation and the appreciation sharing about the contents and scale of community making.

해양지명은 자연적으로 형성된 해양ㆍ해협ㆍ만ㆍ포 및 수로 등의 이름과 초ㆍ퇴ㆍ해저협곡해구 등 해저지형의 이름이다. 지명의 표준화란 지명을 통일(standardization of geographical names)하는 과정으로서 특정의 지리적 장소, 특색, 지역에 대하여 각각 공식적인 이름을 부여하여 표기하는 것이다. 해양지명 표준화는 각 개별국가들이 해도 및 해양간행물에서 통일된 해양지명을 사용하게 함으로써 항행의 안전을 도모하기 위하여 필요한 사업이며 해양측량기술이 발달하면서 해저지형에 대한 측량과 지명부여가 중요한 과제로 인식되고 있다 국내적으로 통일되고 국제적으로 공유될 수 있는 정확한 해양지명 부여를 위한 해양지명표준편람의 제작 목적과 방향에 관하여 연구하고 앞으로 해양지명위원회의 활동방향을 제시하였다.

이 고장을 대표하는 3개의 도시 전주, 익산, 군산은 지리적 특성과 역사적 특성으로 인해 동일 문화권이지만 지켜온 현상들에서 서로 다르며 격리된 느낌의 단부소외성을 지니고 있다. 전북은 우선 완주, 익산, 고창에 이르는 백제, 마한의 평야와 해안의 문화권과 이씨왕조의 본향으로 고도의 특색을 지닌 도시문화권인 전주권, 거대한 산세를 자랑하는 지리산의 자연과 맥을 같이하는 남원권역으로 크게 대별 되어진다. 전북지방의 건축문화적 토대는 여타의 문화와 동일하게 백제의 숨결속에서 느낄 수 있다. 화려함도, 아기자기함도 없지만 있는 그대로, 한국의 정서를 압축한 듯 절박함을 바탕으로 한 백제의 문화적 속성을 지니고 있다. 한편 지나간 시절의 영화가 현재에 재현되거나 지속되고 있지는 못하나 지난 삶의 자취에서, 이곳 사람들의 인정에서 맛의 문화에서 그 깊이와 멋의 가닥을 찾을 수 있다. 현대의 도시들은 이러한 도시형성상의 문화적 지혜나 건축적 혜안을 관철하여 이루어지고 있지는 못하다. 우리의 최근의 역사들은 연약하지도, 섬세하지도 않고 오히려 일시에 옛 자취를 휩쓸어 버리는 강성을 지녀 혼이 담긴 과거의 흔적을 유지하기 쉽지 않다. 우리는 이러한 현상을 주시하였고, 옛 백제 문화의 정신을 토대로 성장하고 있는 현재의 모습들을 관찰하며 반성도 했고, 이어지고 남겨져야 할 이 고장의 특성을 헤아렸다. 마지막으로 이 고장의 미래가 발전적이기를 염원해 본다.

제7회 서울와우북페스티벌이 지난 9월 28일부터 10월 3일까지 6일간 홍익대 주차장거리와 갤러리, 북카페 등에서 개최됐다. 이번 축제의 주제는 '책에, 취하다'로 문화체육관광부(장관 최광식)의 지원으로 약 100여개의 출판사가 축제에 참여했다. 10월 1일에 열린 개막 행사는 국내 최초의 기상캐스터 출신 방송인 이익선 씨의 사회로 김묵원 작가의 동양화 기법을 타 장르와 유기적으로 결합한 드로잉 퍼포먼스와 인디가수 '박솔'의 공연 등이 어우러져 화려한 개막 공연이 펼쳐졌다. 10월 2일에는 한국 캘리그래피의 개척자인 이상현 작가가 어쿠스틱 밴드 송 브리즈와 협연하여 캘리그래피와 음악의 조화를 보여줬다. 그 외 아트워크 집단인 '마스터 브릿지', 싱어송라이터 '양창근' 등이 공연을 펼쳤다. 거리 행사 마지막 날인 10월 3일에는 마포구 지역의 예술가들이 로컬 콘서트를 열어 마포구만의 특색 있는 공언을 선보였다.

부동산 정보는 많은 사람들이 관심을 가지며 현실 생활에서 많은 비중을 차지하고 있는 부분이다. 또한 부동산 정보는 변화가 많으며 실시간적인 성향이 짙고 지리적 특색이 상당히 강한 편이며, 또한 기존 정보의 매개체인 정보지와 공인중개사 사무소에서의 정보는 한계에 도달하게 되었다. 이에 대한 해결책으로 부동산정보는 전자지도를 기반으로 한 Internet-GIS 시스템을 활용한 부동산정보시스템의 도입이 절실하다. 본 시스템은 지리정보시스템(G.I.S Geographic Information System)의 장점인 전자지도를 이용하여 각 지역에 산재되어 있는 부동산정보의 체계적인 구축을 위한 데이터 베이스 설계와 인터넷에 적용시키기 위한 Internet-GIS 기술의 적용을 중점으로 한 실용성 있는 인터넷정보 시스템이다.
