  • Chungchong-namdo area is place that Baekje cultures are straggling. Many ruinses of grant exist and is having special quality of seeing area such as Muryeongwangreung, Busosanseong, Gongsansung as Baekje cultural areas' center with Kongju of Buyeo. More than goods that equip the area's color if see culture goods been selling in tourist resort that there are many resemblant goods that can see in any local and goods development is insufficient misgovernment. Tourists understand history of the area and culture through head relic of having wide knowledge official rank and master basic knowledge. This research proposes culture goods design that apply relic that is excavated in Baekje culture station as a way to based Chungchong-namdo area culture and keep another province station and discrimination. Meantime, interest about Baekje histories was lacking but interest about Baekje histories is decaying through movie or history drama etc. the latest. Hereupon, Chungchong-namdo area culture expects to be activated developing goods design that combine traditional culture and modem thing accomplishes with beauty appropriateness and formative.

  • 본 연구는 저자가 2005년 평택시 문화상품 개발과정에 연구위원으로 참여하여 지역의 대표성을 가지는 디자인 고찰 과정을 살펴본 것이다. 연구목적은 고유문화재와 전통성을 바탕으로 한 상품 개발을 통한 인식 변화를 가져오는 것이다. 그리고 평택시의 문화성립 및 자긍심 고양 및 지역 위상을 확립하는 것이다. 또한, 국 내외 관광객 유치 및 지역 문화 알리기의 기반 마련하는 것이다. 이를 바탕으로 대표적 문화 상품의 개발을 통하여 도시 이미지 확산을 고려하는 것이다. 구체적으로는 평택농악(전통악기, 뱃지, 키홀더등), 문구사무용품(서류함, 책갈피, 시계, 키홀더), 생활용품 (컵받침, 탁상용 저금통, 북, 명함), 장식용품(주방용품등 문화관련 상품들을 개발) 등으로 세분화하여 조사 하였다. 연구 개발 과정을 통하여 도시브랜드 디자인 개발사례로 디자인 적용안을 도출하였다. 그 결과 지역의 도시브랜드 확립을 위한 결론이 선행되어야 한다는 아홉가지 결론을 구체화 할 수 있었다.

Tourism Resource Development of Travel Souvenir of Gangwon-do using Limited Production - Focusing on Inje-gun in Gangwon-do - (제한 복제생산방식을 활용한 강원지역 문화상품의 관광자원화 방안 연구 -강원도 인제군을 중심으로-)

  • A development proposal that maximizes the trend of travel souvenir and articles toward tourism and natural resources through utilization of the Limited Production method was the focus of the present research. First, the flaws of travel souvenir and articles, currently produced in Inje, Kangwon-Do, were identified, as were the regional uniqueness of the area. The comparative advantages of developmental conditions of the above-specified region to various other Si/Kun regions were demonstrated to ascertain the optimal production method of travel souvenir and articles. The results are as follows. Superior supply of,7aw materials necessary for production of wood-worked travel souvenir and articles are abundantly available and the dose proximity of 17 existing workshops self-contain the production capacity to sustain the Limited Production method. Furthermore, the regional governing council conveyed positive attitudes towards the prospect of creating a regional production complex of wood-worked travel souvenir and articles. The results demonstrate that the optimal method of maximizing the trend of travel souvenir and articles toward tourism and natural resources is achieved through systematic collaboration of industry, education, and tourism that promote development, production, and merchandising of Inje's regional travel souvenir and articles.

  • The Baekjae Culture Festival was first held with the objective to re-explore and succeed the traditions of Baekjae culture based on history of Baekjae's seat of government, Gongju and Buyeo. It has contributed to the development of regional culture and establishment of cultural identity of local community with its pride as the leading historical cultural festival that introduces the history and culture of Baekje. However, the current Baekje Culture Festival as a historical and cultural festival is faced with a criticism as it is operated in the direction far from its initial purpose due to the lack of recognition in its significance and application. Therefore, the National Baekje Cultural Products Concours is held as part of various contests of Baekje Culture Festival in order to encourage the pride of Baekje history, draw international attention for the advanced and unique Baekje culture, develop innovative ideas for cultural products and grow the talents in design. The awarded work of this national concours is believed to be effective for the cultural contents industry. However, unlike its initial purpose, the concours has become a one-time exhibitionist event. Hence, through the analysis of general facts and case of domestic cultural products this thesis aims to find a way to utilize the National Baekje Cultural Products Concours in order to re-evaluate the history and culture of Baekje and enhance the public recognition through their viewing, consuming, promoting and experiencing of cultural products.

A Study on the Development of Souvenirs as Local Cultural Tourism Products - Focused on developing souvenir design - (지역 문화관광상품으로서의 기념품 개발 연구 - 기념품 디자인 개발 중심으로 -)

  • With the recent strengthening of local autonomy and the recognition of the culture and tourism industry as a driving force for the fourth industrial revolution, the importance of research on the revitalization of the local culture and tourism industry is further emphasized. Thus, in this paper, the concept and type of local culture and tourism products were summarized and the research direction was presented through this. As a research method, the internal and external factors of the culture and tourism industry in Korea were used as the SWOT analysis method. In the text, three representative sites were selected and analyzed for the development of local cultural and tourism products, and Seoul, Jeju Island, and Gyeongju all found that they lacked local cultural and tourism products. It also found another value through its role of cultural development as well as the economic aspect of the development of cultural tourism products. In order to revitalize the local culture and tourism industry, which has become more important, the government proposed measures to promote differentiated creative products, efficient marketing, and legal security in various ways. In order for this study to be better data for researchers in the culture and tourism industry and related industries, research should be conducted with detailed surveys that could not be conducted due to various restrictions in the future.

  • Although crafts industry in Chungcheongbuk-do where Cheongju International Craft Biennale is held has an excellent infrastructure, it is backward comparing with other regions. So we face up to the reality and desire to contribute to the creation of added value and the development of local crafts culture through study on the here and the hereafter of Chungbuk crafts industry. We figure out the customer satisfaction and the potential customer preference for cultural products on sale currently. Then, we establish a detailed marketing strategy and study the way how we can solve the current difficulties including design, technique and marketing.

Research on the Impact of Digital Music Products on the Development of Regional Tourism Economy

  • In this paper, we propose a study to investigate the significant impact of digital technology on the development of the cultural industry and tourism. By collecting, selecting, and analyzing data on digital music products from 281 cities in China from 2005 to 2022, we confirm that well-known digital music products play a crucial role in promoting domestic tourism economic growth. However, their impact on the international tourism economy is not significant. Furthermore, these well-known digital music products can not only promote the development of the regional tourism economy but also influence the tourism economy of neighboring cities. The promotional effect of well-known digital music products is particularly important in fourth- and fifth-tier cities with rich cultural diversity and abundant tourism resources. Overall, well-known digital music products have a positive role in stimulating market vitality and promoting regional tourism economic development. These findings provide an important foundation for the integrated development of culture and tourism in the digital age and offer valuable insights for upgrading regional industrial structures and fostering regional harmonious development.

Suggestions for Using Historical and Cultural Resources in Uiseong : Focusing on the Gilt-bronze Crown and the Earthenware of Jomunguk (의성 지역 역사문화자원 활용을 위한 제안 : 조문국 금동관과 토기를 중심으로)

  • In the Geumseongsan Tumulus of the Uiseong area where the Jomunguk was existed in the Three Han Period, many relics such as metal craft ornaments and Uiseong-style earthernware were excavated. However, it is hard to find cases where the excavated relics were used to develop cultural products. In this study, symbolic relics which can express the culture of Uiseong Jomunguk were selected from excavated relics. Then, the basic design that can be applied to various cultural products were derived from symbolic relics. In order to select symbolic relics, the formative characteristics of the metal craft relics excavated from the Tablili Tumulus and the Dali Tumulus were examined. As a result, a gilt-bronze crown excavated from the Tablili Tumulus was selected as a symbolic relics. And then the basic desin was derived from the gilt-bronze crown. The basic design is expressed in the form of birds based on the bird's feather shape at the edge of the standing ornaments and the record of the Bongdae(鳳臺), the phoenix's habitat. And the application design that changed the expression of the birds' face was presented. The earthenware excavated from the Uiseong area was designed as a soil pot and applied various indoor air purification plants. The result of this study, which reinterprets and reconstructs the historical and cultural resources of the region in accordance with the modern sense, can be used as useful data for the development of cultural products of Jomunguk. Furthermore, if the design derived from the Jomunguk relics is used as a representative symbol of the area, it will be possible to derive an image of a differentiated region from other regions. Finally, it is expected that the result of this study will be a chance to re-evaluate the value of the historical and cultural resources in the region.
