EU and NAFTA which are huge regional economic blocs came out the world economy at the end of the twentieth century. It is the first that Europe has been trying to establish regional economic integration which is a revolutionary change to world economy. So that regional economic integration of Europe(European Union) has been improving to make a complete economic political integration. This paper analyzes trade creation effect for joining European Union(EU) of Central Eastern European countries with random effect estimation and fixed effect estimation. 12 Central Eastern European countries have become membership states of EU since 2004 is able to get 27.4% of trade increase effect on average between old and new membership countries one another as well as between new membership countries one another respectively. It is very important for some countries have a plan to affiliate to EU in the future to realize such a big effect if they are in.

최근 경제자유구역에 관한 법률이 통과되면서 인천, 부산, 광양항이 그 첫 번째 대상지로 지정될 예정이다. 그러나 경제자유구역 제도는 동북아 비즈니스 중심국가 상업의 일환으로 매우 중요한 사업이지만 수도권과 대도시 중심의 지역간 불균형발전 초래, 유사한 제도인 자유무역지역이나 관세 자유지역, 국제자유도시, 외국인투자유치지역 등과의 중복성으로 자칫 비효율적인 투자가 우려되고 있다. 본 연구는 군산항 인근을 경제자유구역으로 지정할 필요성과 잠재력을 제시하고, 경제자유구역제도의 발전방향과 유사지역과의 통합정보 관리시스템 도입방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Discussion of Economic Community in East Asia are active. This trend began in the late 20th from the EU and North America's regional economic integration is in response to the movement. East Asia in the late 1990s to the actual for the FTA, it was not very active. As East Asian Economic Community became one of agendas for ASEAN+3 Leaders' meeting since 2004. Japan has been positioned itself as a leading country in East Asia. However, the emergence of China in the East Asian economic community have been changes. Moreover, East Asian countries began concerns over regional economic community with frequent conclusions of FTAs and China is leading the discussion on strengthening economic cooperation in the region. Some of it in terms of economic community in East Asia will not be smooth. First, East Asian countries do not have a common goal. Second, East Asian countries have a lot of diversity. Third, China and Japan are expected to compete in the championship. Therefore, East Asian economic community should be approached in the long-term perspective.

An integrated assessment model of climate and the economy (IAM) has been a standard tool for the economic analysis of climate change and policy recommendations. Since policy measures to address climate change take places at a national level, a regional integrated assessment model of climate and the economy (RIAM) is gaining more importance. A RIAM is a useful tool for the assessment of regional (or national) impacts of climate change. This paper investigates the main features of the currently available RIAMs. The focus is social welfare functions and the regional aspects of climate change. The comparative analysis shows that there is a huge gap between the economics of climate change and its applications to RIAMs. As an application, this paper examines the effect of social welfare functions on optimal solutions of the RICE (Regional Integrated model of Climate and the Economy) model. It is found that optimal climate policy such as carbon tax or emissions control rate is very sensitive to the assumptions on social welfare functions of RIAMs. It is better for each country to have their own RIAM as a basic tool for national climate policy-making and for international bargaining in greenhouse-gas mitigation. This is because a country's own preferences such as efficiency, equity, and sustainable development as well as national circumstances can be reflected in RIAM. The Republic of Korea has not developed its own RIAM yet. The comparative analysis and the numerical model in this paper can be a stepping stone for the development of such a national model.

남북한 경제통합 시에 이익지대 확대 방안을 모색하고, 남북한 경제의 발전적인 방안을 탐구하고자 한다. 한반도 공급망 이익지대를 분석하여 공급망 이익지대 확대 전략을 수립하고자 한다. 그리고 한반도의 경제통합 시에 경제적인 손실과 낭비, 시행착오를 줄이고 경제발전의 부흥기를 도모하기 위함이다. 현재 북한지역의 무게 중심지를 분석하고 향후에 인구의 유동에 의해 초래될 무게중심지를 시나리오 기법으로 분석하여 위험요인을 최소화 하고자 한다.

This study analyzes the awareness of citizens towards the autonomous integration process between Goesan-gun and Jeungpyoung-gun. According to the survey, the citizens of Goesan-gun agreed on the integration, but the citizens of Jeungpyoung-gun disagreed on the plan. This result is different from the findings of the opinion surveys which were conducted in 2009 and 2012. The reason why some citizens agreed on the integration is that the integration will help more with the systematic administration service and the convenience of administrative process. Also the citizens are expecting the expansion of the convenient facilities and the economic growth through the local festivals. In the political view, it will cut the operating cost of the two provinces. However, there are some reasons for the disagreement of the integration. The first reason is that the independent development will be more beneficial for each province. And it will be more effective if each province separately promotes the local festivals to be more productive. Nevertheless, the citizens in both areas admit the necessity of the population influx and elevating the local economy for both provinces. These two areas are expecting to have the autonomous local economy and the complementary and competitive relationship with the nearby metropolitan councils while building the Jungwon cultural zone which is supported by the regional association.

국가 간의 자유무역협정을 통한 세계 경제는 통합화를 추구하고, 이러한 결과로 국가 또는 기업 간의 경쟁이 점점 가속화되고 있다. 시대적 Paradigm은 세계 경제의 통합과 경쟁 방식의 변화이며, 이러한 가운데 소비자들은 건강과 Wellbeing에 대한 관심이 혁신적으로 증대되고 있다. 특히 U-Health의 필요성 증대, 지속적인 U-Health 시장 수요의 증가의 전망되고 있으며 고령화 사회로 접어들면서 건강관리 비용이 GDP의 7% 상회할 것으로 예측되고 있다. 따라서 국가는 국가 경쟁력을 위해, 지역은 지역 경쟁력을 위해 U-Health 산업의 육성을 간과할 수 없다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 충북 지역의 독자적 생존노력 강화 차원에서 차별적인 U-Health 서비스의 우수 브랜드 개발을 통하여 지역 경제활성화 방안을 연구하고자 한다. 먼저 충북 지역은 U-Health 분야의 Power Brand 제정을 통한 충북 지역의 U-Health분야의 독자적 경쟁력을 구축할 수 있다. 그렇게 하기 위해서는 U-Health 제품에 대한 효율적 마케팅전략 전개 필요하다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 SWOT 분석을 통한 경쟁력 확보 전략, STP 분석을 통한 지역 산업화 전략, Marketing Mix 전략을 통한 산업의 활성화 전략을 연구하였다.

남북한의 경제협력은 한반도 통합과정과 통일 한반도에 있어서 매우 중요한 의미를 지니게 될 것이다. 남북한 통합이 아직 속단할 단계는 아니므로 중장기적 전망이 타당하겠지만 러시아의 시베리아지역은 아ㆍ태지역과 유럽(중동과 서남아시아와 중앙아시아 포함)을 이어주는 교량의 위치에 놓여 있는 중요한 지역이므로 이지역을 둘러싼 국제적인 경쟁과 다양한 형태의 국가간 및 지역간 협력의 시대가 불원간에 도래할 것임을 전망할 수 있다.(중략)
