Process change and modification, which are caused by process failure, equipment life cycle and economic environment, have been generated in the chemical plants. And the MOC (management of change) base on the reasonable process safety technology such as change judgment, hazard identification by accurate technical references and risk assessment. But it is difficult to carry out the MOC because of lack of experience, shortage of knowledge and none of process safety specialists. In this study, the MOC system which could make enhancement of safety by finding and complementing weakness of MOC in chemical facilities was developed. This developed MOC system based on QRA was recommended the obvious standard for decision-making process, MOC procedure based on risk assessment and risk estimation of the process modification. The study based on the above way sought the enhancement of safety by performing Risk Based MOC for chemical plants.
Korea has been at the forefront of green growth initiatives. In 2008, the government declared the new vision toward 'low-carbon society and green growth'. The government subsidies and Feed-in Tariff (FIT) increased domestic usage of solar power by supplying photovoltaic housing and photovoltaic generation systems. Since 2000, solar power industry has been the world's fastest growing source with the annual growth rate of 52.5%. Especially, BIPV(Building Integrated Photovoltaic) systems are capturing a growing portion of the renewable energy market due to several reasons. BIPV consists of photovoltaic cells and modules integrated into the building envelope such as a roof or facades. By avoiding the cost of conventional materials, the incremental cost of photovoltaics is reduced and its life-cycle cost is improved. When it comes to atypical building, numerous problems occur because PV modules are flat, stationary, and have its orientation determined by building surface. However, previous studies mainly focused on improving installations of solar PV technologies on ground and rooftop photovoltaic array and developing prediction model to estimate the amount of produced electricity. Consequently, this paper discusses the problem during a planning and design stage of BIPV systems and suggests the method to select optimal design of the systems by applying the national strategy and economic policies. Furthermore, the paper aims to develop BIM tool based on the engineering knowledge from experts in order for non-specialists to design photovoltaic generation systems easily.

Recently, OOM(Object-Oriented Method) access method which begins to apply to software development is emphasizing development cost and time reduction through independent software reuse. But because of planning to the exclusion of the lack of knowledge and expansion or performance for development technology many problems are coming out. Therefore, this thesis suggests Effective Object-Oriented Modeling methods considering the plan for higher productivity enhancement of software in the software development life cycle. Effective Object-Oriented Modeling method includes, methods, Use Case modeling methods, Analysis Modeling methods, Design Modeling methods and others. This thesis suggests Framework model method read in characteristics as follows. First, suggestion about effective object-oriented standard model development, Second, retrenchment of software development or maintenance cost, Third, solution about uncertain problems of projects in line with the application of new technology.

Shipping companies have become interested in the development of strategic ship assets management systems which are implemented for high competitiveness and business rationalization to meet the tough business environment of high oil prices and decrease in cargo. In this paper we introduce a ship assets management system that is suitable for the SAN(Ship Area Network) environment. This system is designed to execute business strategy of ship owners giving consideration to requirements of shipping stakeholders. In addition we have implemented it in a web-based ERP system (SHERP) which separates user interface and business logic. The SHERP is based on STEP and PLIB, which are international standards for data exchange of mechanical devices and parts. It also adopts a ship ontology to manage the ship information and knowledge during its life-cycle. The SHERP will be a concrete example of servitization of shipbuilding, as an information system which is used in ships and ship groups.

It is not easy to present a generalized operating model because the operating environment of a sport event is composed of a complex matrix structure. In this study, we propose 'standardization' which provides guidance of concept and process of sport event management to solve this sports event management problem. To purpose complete of this study, the frame was developed by the international standard ISO 9001: 2015 is applied. The standards framework for sports event process management system structure proposed in this study consists of scope of application, citing standard, Terms and definitions, organizational situation, leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation, and improvement. This sport event process management system standard can be applied to any organization that wants to host, prepare, and operate sport events regardless of the form or scale of the sport event. In addition, this standard was focused on process management of life-cycle stages of sporting events, therefor it was possible to manage interrelationships and dependencies between processes and processes.

In this thesis, for the assessment of software development process for project complexity and project size : one of digital watermarking algorithm is selected and examined. Digital watermarking provides a solution to illegal copying of digital contents and has many other useful applications, including web broadcast monitoring, transaction tracking, authentication, copy control and device control. This thesis focused on the method for customizing software development path, considering the project environments and characteristics. The selection standard of software development path is composed of process items, based on the ISO/IEC 15721 Information Technology Guide for ISO/IEC 12207 (Software Life Cycle Process) and ISO/IEC 15504 Information technology - Process assessment. To evaluate the algorithm, a system for selecting development path, which reflected algorithm, was examined.
This study investigates the thermal conductivity and density of expanded polystyrene insulation materials collected from buildings under going energy retrofit projects. Due to the absence of initial thermal conductivity data, determining precise long-term patterns was challenging. Analysis based on design documents revealed that expanded polystyrene insulation maintained consistent performance over ten years. Notably, the thermal conductivity measurements of insulation samples of the same grade and age varied significantly. Additionally, the insulation density was found to be substantially below the standard specified in the design documents. The results of the experiment indicate that performance management during both construction and operation phases is lacking. It is crucial to apply building commissioning, which involves performance verification throughout the building's life cycle, to properly evaluate building energy performance improvements, such as building energy retrofit projects.

Coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) is caused by SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory SyndromeCoronavirus 2). To date, seven coronaviruses that can infect humans were reported. Among them, infections with four coronavirus strains (HCoV-229E, HCoV-OC43, HCoV-NL63, and HCoV-HKU1) resulted in mild symptoms such as common cold, whereas SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV caused severe symptoms and epidemics in 2002 and 2012, respectively. In the most recent, SARS-CoV-2 was first reported in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and became a notorious cause of the ongoing global pandemics. To diagnose, treat, and prevent COVID-19, the development of rapid and accurate diagnostic tools, specific therapeutic drugs, and safe vaccines essentially are required. In order to develop these powerful tools, it is prerequisite to understand a phenotype, a genotype, and life cycle of SARS-CoV-2. Diagnostic techniques have been developing rapidly around world and many countries take the fast track system to accelerate approval. Approved diagnostic devices are rapidly growing facing to urgent demand to identify carriers. Currently developed commercial diagnostic devices are divided into mainly two categories: molecular assay and serological & immunological assay. Molecular assays begins the reverse transcription step following polymerase chain reaction or isothermal amplification. Immunological assay targets SARS-CoV-2 antigen or anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody of samples. In this review, we summarize the phenotype, genome structure and gene expression of SARS-CoV-2 and provide the knowledge on various diagnostic techniques for SARS-CoV-2.
The current study applied the random forest algorithm to Korean crime victim survey data collected biennially between 2010 and 2018 to explore the relationship between crime/victim characteristics and the victim's criminal damages. A total of 3,080 cases including gender, age (life cycle stage), type of crime, perpetrator acquisition, repeated victimization, psychological damage (depression, isolation, extreme fear, somatic symptoms, interpersonal problems, moving out to avoid people, suicidal impulses, suicide attempts), and emotional changes after victimization (changes in self-protection confidence, self-esteem, confidence in others, confidence in legal institutions, and respect for Korean legal system/law) were analyzed. Considering the features of data that are difficult to apply traditional statistical techniques, this study implemented random forest algorithms to predict crime and victim characteristics using the victim's criminal damages (psychological damage and emotional change) and selected good predictors using VSURF function in VSURF package for R. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the relationship between the type of crime and depression, extreme fear, somatic symptoms, and interpersonal problems, between perpetrator acquisition and somatic symptoms and interpersonal problems, and between repeated victimization and changes in respect for Korean legal system/law. Gender and life cycle stage (youth/adult/elderly) were found to be related to extreme fear and changes in self-protection confidence, respectively. However, more empirical evidence should be aggregated to explain the results as meaningful. The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to enhance the experts' knowledge and educate them on cases about the relationship between crime/victim characteristics and criminal damage. Strengthening their interview strategy and knowledge about law/rules were also needed to increase the effectiveness of the Korean victim assessment system.
