A Design and Implementation of a Web-based Ship ERP(SHERP) (웹기반 선박용 ERP (SHERP) 설계 및 구현)

  • Shipping companies have become interested in the development of strategic ship assets management systems which are implemented for high competitiveness and business rationalization to meet the tough business environment of high oil prices and decrease in cargo. In this paper we introduce a ship assets management system that is suitable for the SAN(Ship Area Network) environment. This system is designed to execute business strategy of ship owners giving consideration to requirements of shipping stakeholders. In addition we have implemented it in a web-based ERP system (SHERP) which separates user interface and business logic. The SHERP is based on STEP and PLIB, which are international standards for data exchange of mechanical devices and parts. It also adopts a ship ontology to manage the ship information and knowledge during its life-cycle. The SHERP will be a concrete example of servitization of shipbuilding, as an information system which is used in ships and ship groups.

A Study on the Human Resource Recruitment and R&D by the Growth Stage of ICT SMEs (ICT 중소기업의 성장단계별 인적자원 채용 및 연구개발에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the trouble of recruitment and research and development of ICT SMEs. Recently, many ICT SMEs have emerged for selling products and services using the technology of the 4th industrial revolution. However, SMEs have relatively deficient resources compared to large companies, the difficulty of maintenance or growth of human resources and intangible resources. This research methodology organized the four stages of the analysis process. The first analysis is the association rules for human resource recruitment. The second analysis is the difficulty of hiring jobs and experienced workers by each stage of company growth. The third analysis is a regression analysis of the trouble of R&D activity. The last analysis is an analysis of association rules on the difficulties of management activities by company growth. As the research result, the first analysis has shown a difference in favored human resources by the ICT industry. The second analysis also showed factor differences in job recruitment difficulties for each stage of corporate growth. In the third analysis, the operation of research institutes in ICT SMEs is influenced by industry type, corporate certification, corporate growth stage, self-technology development, joint technology development, technology transfer, and commercialization. As the last analysis, ICT SMEs showed factor differences in difficulties in management activities by stage of corporate growth. This study contributed empirically emphasizing the troubling phenomenon of human resources and R&D necessary for the growth of ICT SMEs. As a theoretical implication, this research contributed to the research-area expansion of management information using big-data technologies. In particular, this research practically suggests the differentiated direction of recruitment and R&D by ICT SMEs based on industry and each stage of company growth through the association rules of big data.

The Effect of Small-World Structure in Team Processes on Team Performance (팀 프로세스의 작은 세상 구조가 팀 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated the effect of small-world structure in team processes on team performance. I discussed the theoretical relationship between small-world structure in team processes and team performance and analyzed the relationship using pass data of soccer teams. I constructed the 128 pass networks from the pass data of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and then measured the structural features indicating small-world structure of the networks. Correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed in order to examine the strength and direction of the relationship. According to the results, the clustering has an exponential relationship with team performance and the connectivity has a log-function relationship with team performance. Finally, I found the positive effect of small-world structure in team processes on team performance. Through theoretical discussion and empirical analysis, this study found that small-world structure in team processes increase team performance by facilitating task coordination and collaboration between team members.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential use of the theme collection as a new classification method that reflects the interest of users in terms of classification and categorization. For this purpose, the background of the theme collection was identified based on the discussion of the library resource organization and the introduction of the curation service of bookstore. In addition, based on case analysis, which is building the theme collection, concrete concepts and characteristics of theme collection are derived. Based on the above discussion, the classification and categorization characteristics of public library themes collections were analyzed, and the characteristics and functions as a classification were compared with other categories relatively. Finally, the utility and applicability of the theme collection is presented and it is based on the discussions about the user-centered classification system design of the library in the future.

  • Recently, researches and projects of companies based on artificial intelligence have been actively carried out. Various services and systems are being grafted with artificial intelligence technology. They become more intelligent. Accordingly, interest in deep learning, one of the techniques of artificial intelligence, and people who want to learn it have increased. In order to learn deep learning, deep learning theory with a lot of knowledge such as computer programming and mathematics is required. That is a high barrier to entry to beginners. Therefore, in this study, we designed and implemented a web-based deep learning platform called DeepBlock, which enables beginners to implement basic models of deep learning such as DNN and CNN without considering programming and mathematics. The proposed DeepBlock can be used for the education of students or beginners interested in deep learning.

Construction of a Virtual Mobile Edge Computing Testbed Environment Using the EdgeCloudSim (EdgeCloudSim을 이용한 가상 이동 엣지 컴퓨팅 테스트베드 환경 개발)

  • Mobile edge computing is a technology that can prepare for a new era of cloud computing and compensate for shortcomings by processing data near the edge of the network where data is generated rather than centralized data processing. It is possible to realize a low-latency/high-speed computing service by locating computing power to the edge and analyzing data, rather than in a data center far from computing and processing data. In this article, we develop a virtual mobile edge computing testbed environment where the cloud and edge nodes divide computing tasks from mobile terminals using the EdgeCloudSim simulator. Performance of offloading techniques for distribution of computing tasks from mobile terminals between the central cloud and mobile edge computing nodes is evaluated and analyzed under the virtual mobile edge computing environment. By providing a virtual mobile edge computing environment and offloading capabilities, we intend to provide prior knowledge to industry engineers for building mobile edge computing nodes that collaborate with the cloud.

The Technology Application of Fourth Industrial Revolution in Organization (조직 내 4차 산업혁명의 기술 적용에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically examine organizational change for a technological application of the fourth industrial revolution. The theoretical background of this study utilized organizational change management, the fourth industrial revolution, technological innovation, and voluntary acceptance. This research method used structural equations, cluster analysis, and analysis of variance. According to the results of the study, the organizational implement system, organizational leadership, and organizational operating system provided a positive effect on the voluntary technology acceptance of organization members. The voluntary technology acceptance provided a positive effect on the effectiveness of individual task innovation. However, organizational institutionalization among the independent variables did not affect voluntary acceptance. All independent variables except the organizational institutionalization had a partial mediating effect in the mediating effect verification. Meanwhile, The three groups by the cluster analysis were classified as new technology apathy, preference, and anxiety groups, and differences appeared among groups in the importance of organizational change variables. The organizational implement system in the technology apathy group and the organizational operating system in the technology anxiety group have a positive effect on voluntary technology acceptance. The technology preference group shows that a positive effect on organizational leadership and a negative effect on organizational institutionalization for voluntary technology acceptance. This study analyzed the technology application of the fourth industrial revolution in the organization based on the theory of organizational change. There has been reexamined the organizational change theory based on the new technology acceptance by the change of external environment in the fourth industrial revolution and the importance of technology innovation. As a practical implication, firms that are interested in a new technology of the fourth industrial revolution should prioritize preparing an implementation system when designing organizational changes.

  • This study was carried out to overcome the problems of the existing fitness business and to build a fitness system that can meet the increased demand in the Corona situation. As a platform technology for non-face-to-face fitness edutainment service, it is a next-generation fitness exercise device that can use various body parts and synchronize network-type information. By synchronizing the exercise information of the fitness equipment, it was composed of learning contents through MR-based avatars. A quantified result was derived from examining the applicability of the customized evaluation system through momentum analysis with A.I analysis applying the LSTM-based algorithm according to the cumulative exercise effect of the user. It is a motion capture and 3D visualization fitness program for the application of systematic exercise techniques through academic experts, and it is judged that it will contribute to the improvement of the user's fitness knowledge and exercise ability.

  • Being one of the municipality belonging to a large metropolitan city, there are areas with a special environment of rural characteristics that are different from general urban areas. Gijang-gun of Busan Metropolitan City is a good example. Although it maintains the highest level of the number of patrons per public library and the number of books per capita in Busan, and is also promoting various projects to strengthen the knowledge and cultural competitiveness, in Gijang-gun, a Complex Area where rural and urban areas coexist, most of the resources are concentrated in urban areas, and cultural facilities that provide public services are lacking in relatively few rural areas. In this regard, this research strives to enhance the vision and strategy of the Gijang-gun's public libraries, reflecting the characteristics and needs of the patrons as viewed through their urban-rural complex environment.

Creating Songs Using Note Embedding and Bar Embedding and Quantitatively Evaluating Methods (음표 임베딩과 마디 임베딩을 이용한 곡의 생성 및 정량적 평가 방법)

  • In order to learn an existing song and create a new song using an artificial neural network, it is necessary to convert the song into numerical data that the neural network can recognize as a preprocessing process, and one-hot encoding has been used until now. In this paper, we proposed a note embedding method using notes as a basic unit and a bar embedding method that uses the bar as the basic unit, and compared the performance with the existing one-hot encoding. The performance comparison was conducted based on quantitative evaluation to determine which method produced a song more similar to the song composed by the composer, and quantitative evaluation methods used in the field of natural language processing were used as the evaluation method. As a result of the evaluation, the song created with bar embedding was the best, followed by note embedding. This is significant in that the note embedding and bar embedding proposed in this paper create a song that is more similar to the song composed by the composer than the existing one-hot encoding.
