Following the heightened facilitation of information system in the education field, educational institutions encounter frequent information security infringement accidents. However there is insufficient education for persons in charge of information security duties in educational institutions. This study aims to analyze differences of knowledge and skills required for information security professionals in educational institutions by institution type, service area and duty. Based on the results of multidimensional scaling on survey data, this study presents the information security education framework for educational institutions.

This study examined prevailing parents' knowledge of eye health for young children. 139 mothers responded to a questionnaire developed by the researchers. Mothers had general eye health knowledges regardless of their age, education level, and job, but they had less knowledges about children's eye health in some items. Therefore there is a need to develop education programs and materials for eye health as well as a need to provided for young children's parents.

Because personal information files held by educational institutions include sensitive information such as personal school affairs information or health information, damages resulted from personal information leakage of educational institutions are expected to be serious. In order to respond to this problem, the Ministry of Education has expanded information security education targeting (personal) information security officers in educational institutions. However, a number of personal information leakage cases of public institutions occurred at educational institutions. Thus, this study, targeting information security education centers, through an empirical research, tries to confirm whether information security education supply is being properly provided for (personal) information security officers in educational institutions, and suggest the appropriate balance between education supply and education demand as the implication for the educational direction of information security education centers.

지식정보사회로의 변화가 점차로 심화되면서, 기존의 법 이론으로서는 설명하기 어려운 여러 가지 새로운 법적 현상이 나타나게 되었다. 디지털, 정보, 네트워크 등 정보사회의 특징은 아날로그, 유체물, 소유에 중점을 두고 있는 현재의 법 원리에 근본적인 변화를 요구하고 있다. 이에 정보 홍수 속에서 의사소통과 법 해석의 문제, 기본 권리, 무체물의 재산성, 액세스에서의 권리성 등 정보사회에 대한 법 이론적 논의가 필요하게 되었다. 본 고에서는 정보보호라는 차원에서 현행 우리 헌법에서 정보보호문제가 어떻게 다루어지고 있는 지에 대해 살펴보고, 정보보호관련 법규들을 우리 헌법상의 국민의 기본권으로서의 전체적인 시각에서 개괄적으로 고찰하여 보고자 한다.

I examine what factors influence a firm's openness to external sources of knowledge in the Korean manufacturing sector. Related literature suggests a firm's appropriability strategy, absorptive capacity, technology entrepreneurship, firm size and industry-level technological opportunities as possible determinants. Using Korean Manufacturing Innovation Survey, I test how these factors influence the degree of openness of Korean manufacturing firm. I find the followings: First, when the appropriability strategy becomes tighter, a firm becomes more open to external sources. Second, when the share of highly educated employees increases, a firm becomes more open. Third, when a firm is a technology entrepreneur, the openness increases. Fourth, a large firm is likely to be more open. Lastly, ample technological opportunities increase the openness. In Korean manufacturing industries, the highly educated employees and technology entrepreneurship are more influential factors for a firm's openness.

This study analyzed the impact of information security service company certification on financial performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the "Information Security Service Certification Company" system from a financial point of view for information security service certified & non-certified companies, and listed & unlisted companies. From a financial point of view, performance analysis was conducted using two-way ANOVA on sales, operating profit, and profit rate. This study verified whether there is a difference in management performance between an information security service certified company and an uncertified company. In the financial performance indicators of sales, operating profit, and profit rate, the information security service certification system showed an impact on financial performance because the information security service certification company showed better management performance than the uncertified company. The implications of this study are that the empirical performance analysis from the financial point of view of the information security service certified company system can be used as a basis for negative regulatory policies to revitalize the information security industry in the future, contributing to the growth of information security companies with excellent growth potential.
