지금까지 인류가 창안해 낸 가장 훌륭한 대안적 개발 패러다임은 '지속가능한 개발'이라 할 수 있다. 어젠다21(Agenda 21) 등 국제기구에서 논의되는 지속가능한 개발의 개념은 '미래 세대의 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 환경과 여건을 저해하지 않으면서 현 세대의 욕구를 충족시키는 개발'이다. 그리고 이 지속가능한 개발은 세 가지 핵심적 요소를 포함하고 있는바 이는 환경적 가치, 미래 지향성, 그리고 형평성이다. 이와 관련한 지속가능한 도시개발에 대해 알아보자.

이 글을 다음과 같이 요약한다. 첫째, 경제발전은 인간의 욕구를 충족시키기 위한 수단이다. 둘째, 경제발전에 관한 여러 이론들이 있다. 어떤 한 이론도 경제 발전을 충분히 설명하지 못한다. 여러 가지 복합적 요인을 고려하는 것이 타당하다. 셋째, 경제발전의 영향은 환경을 파괴한다는 증거가 있다. 넷째, 지속가능한 시민복지사회를 만들려면 동양적 환경가치관의 재발견과 적용이 필요하다. 다섯째, 1972년 스톡홀름 회의이후 환경보존과 관련하여 여러 가지 제도적 발전이 있었다. 그중 Agenda 21의 실천은 정부와 시민에게 중요한 움직임이다. 여섯째, 더 넓은 지속가능성 즉 5 가지 지속가능성의 적용을 권장한다. 특히 문화적 지속가능성의 실천이 중요하다. 일곱째, 국가투자를 적정화하면 환경투자비율을 높이면서 국민복지를 향상시키고, 경제성장을 지속하는 것이 가능하다. 여덟째, 지속가능한 시민복지사회를 만들려면 개인과 단체가 전략계획의 실천을 일상화해야한다.

Ecotourism has been considered as sustainable tourism since it has been believed to preserve the environment of a tourist destination as well as to satisfy the various needs of tourists. However, most of destinations recently developed for ecotourism have confronted environmental degradation. Therefore, it is necessary to challenge and reestablish the concept of ecotourism. This study seeks to provide new perspectives on the concept of ecotourism by estimating the sustainability of three ecotourism destinations in Jeju Island. The Yae-Rae Dong Ecotourism Village shows a high level of sustainability, while the Ah-Bu Oh-rum at Song-Dang Ri and the Experience Beach at Jong-Dal Ri shows a low level of sustainability. In result, the ecotourism in itself is not sustainable tourism, and further this study suggests that appropriate planning, development, and management of a destination are important factors to decide the success of sustainable tourism.

최근 들어 소득과 교육 수준의 향상으로 인하여 생활환경과 여가시간 그리고 건강에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 U-City와 지속 가능한 생태 도시에 대한 사람들의 관심이 증가되고 있다. 이러한 삶의 질 향상에 따라 최근 국토 해양부에서는 U-City에 더불어 지속 가능한 생태계 순환기능과 첨단 IT기술이 결합된 U-Eco City에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. U-Eco City는 첨단의 IT기술을 집대성한 유비쿼터스 기술과 생태계 순환기능 등의 생태 기술이 인간, 자연 그리고 공간으로 연결되는 혁신적이고 창의적인 도시환경과 무한한 도시가치를 창출하는 지속가능한 미래형 첨단 친환경 생태도시를 말한다. U-Eco City는 보다나은 생활환경을 추구하고자 하는 인간의 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 미래형 지속가능한 생태환경 도시로서 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 특히 미국과 영국에서는 활발한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. U-Eco City는 더 나은 삶을 향한 인간의 끝임 없는 욕구 충족을 위해서 지속적인 연구가 필요하다. 하지만 아직은 U-Eco City를 도시 브랜드화 하기 위한 체계적인 연구가 미비한 상황이며, 특히 U-Eco City를 도시 브랜드화 하기위한 필수적인 단계인 인증과 관련된 부문에 연구가 많이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서 현재 통용되는 인증 제도를 통한 체계적인 제도의 정립, 인증 기준의 마련뿐만 아니라 인증을 위한 세부 지침의 마련 등이 필요하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 U-Eco City 개발 기발 요소 기술들을 기존의 인증기관을 통해 인정을 받을 수 방법들을 제시하고, 그 외의 요소기술들은 인증 기준을 제시하고, 인증기관을 인정하기 위하여 세부기준을 마련하도록 하였다, 다음은 신기술, 신제품 등, 인증을 받을 수 있는 제도적, 법적, 절차를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 인증제도를 통하여 U-Eco City를 도시 브랜드화를 하여 국내외 시장에 공급하고, 향후 개발될 U-Eco 기술인증업무를 지속적으로 수행하도록 하는데 그 목적이 있다.

Everyone knows the importance of environmental education, which is essentially required especially today. In particular, the education could influence greatly students who have to get in their class and they might build their own thought on the basic concept regarding environment and ecosystem through their elementary school period. But the current elementary education has not the independent subject of 'environment' but only refers to other courses some dealing with it, leading to the highly possible failure of achieving comprehensive and concrete approaches toward environmental education. In that sense, it will be meaningful that based on existing academic discussions and approaches about various environmental issues facing our society, we seek desirable directions for environmental education at primary school for sustainable development that is needed in this era and its possible applications. The concept of sustainable development that puts an importance on the harmony between the development of environment and its preservation should be rather the one which helps to satisfy desires of the future and now generation together and also emphasizes that environmental protection should be primarily considered even in the situation in which economic development could be seen necessary. Therefore, the key to environmental education for sustainable development lies in building the attitude respecting 'life and nature' and such value will be accomplished through education.

본 논문의 연구 목적은 여성 창업활동에 영향을 미치는 여성창업가의 특성 요인을 다면적, 실증적으로 연구를 실시하여 도출하고, 이를 통해 지속가능한 여성창업의 활성화를 위한 이론적·실무적 인사이트를 제시하여 경쟁력 있는 여성 창업기업의 발굴 및 육성에 대한 제언을 궁극적으로 함에 있다. 이를 위해 여성창업활성화를 여성창업가의 특성과 역량을 파악하고자 심층 인터뷰를 토대로 탐색연구를 실시하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 8명의 여성창업가를 대상으로 한 심층 인터뷰를 통해서 창업태도(독립욕구, 개발욕구, 호의적여건), 창업진입률, 창업동기, 창업활동과 제약조건 등에 관한 주요 내용을 분석해 보았다. 연구의 독창성과 연구적 가치를 위해 여성 기업가, 창업가 8명을 심층인터뷰를 진행하였으며, 여성창업가의 보편적 특성을 객관적으로 확인코자 남성창업가 8명을 비교집단으로 심층인터뷰 진행하였다. 이를 통해 고성장, 고부가가치를 창출하는 벤처 창업생태계에서 수적 열세를 보이고 있는 여성의 창업활동 참여와 활성화를 위한 이론적, 실무적 인사이트를 제공하고자 한다.

우리나라는 높은 인구밀도, 도시화, 급속한 산업화 등 환경관리에 매우 불리한 여건에 놓여 있다. 1 9 7 0년대 이후의 고도 압축성장과정에서 복합적인 환경문제가 동시다발적으로 발생하였고, 최근에는 신기술 개발에 따른 새로운 환경위해물질에 의한 인체 및 생태계의 피해 발생 가능성이 증대되고 있다. 한편 환경문제 해결과정에서는 지역간, 이해집단간의 갈등이 첨예하게 대립하고 많은 환경문제가 국제적인 협력과 공동대응이 요구될 만큼 복잡하게 전개되고 있으며, 국민적 욕구와 기대수준은 단순한 환경질의 개선뿐만 아니라 경제·사회·환경이 조화를 이루는 지속가능한 발전의 실현과 삶의 질 향상을 요구하고 있다.(중략)

Based on the theoretical review of social cooperatives and the results of the fourth round of fact-finding, this study tried to discuss the sustainability of social co-operatives from the social, economic, and environmental aspects, focusing on the seven principles of co-operatives. The issue of sustainability is "a development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, the use of resources, the direction of investment, technological advances and institutional change in harmony with one another. as defined as "a process of change that advances the needs and desires of all future generations". It contains the meaning of connecting a sustainable society to future generations through harmony and balance, rather than opposing concepts of social value, environmental conservation, and economic growth. As a result of arranging the concept of social, economic, and environmental sustainability contained in sustainable development, and the seven principles of cooperatives and their connections, I would like to suggest the following about the sustainability of social cooperatives. First, efforts should be made for social contribution closely related to the local community. Second, it is necessary to create a profit model along with the public interest. Third, partnerships should be strengthened. When examining the public values and objectives that social cooperatives want to realize through this study, the three scopes of sustainable development are directly related to the role of important actors in pursuing social and economic values that social and economic organizations are facing. would. Therefore, the sustainability issue of social cooperatives is based on the concept that the goals and values pursued by social cooperatives are harmonious and balanced development in the environmental, social, and economic aspects, not only their own efforts but also the institutional support of the government. this will have to be presented.

Maeul Community Media is community media practice that media education combine with community activism based on the region. Maeul Community Media appeared with Seoul city's supporting policy in 2012 and is now enlarging on a national scale beyond Seoul. This study is aimed at understanding and investigating Maeul Community Media activists' practice process by using a grouned theory approach. In-depth interviews were carried out of study participants who worked on as activists based on visual and radio field since 2012. By open coding based on grounded theory, 16 categories and 59 subcategories were discovered. The outcome of axial coding showed the centeral phenomena that can be called 'sustainable desire for Maeul Community Media act'. On the condition of the instability of public support and the absence of a village channel, the strategic practices were discovered, which are diversification of participants recruitment and modes of participation, invention of space-media, seeking multilateral distribution methodologies and the collective action plans of networks to stabilize the management and to empower Maeul Community Media networks. As a result, Maeul Community Media and civil society were networked by discovering and agenda-setting pending issues. And we could find that the desire and expectation for the role as a village's public sphere were enlarging.

The purpose of this study is to achieve an understanding of psychosocial needs of elderly female residents living in the nursing home and their evaluation about psychosocial services from their perspectives. In-depth interview by constructivist inquiry was conducted to explore residents' needs. Purposive sampling was used to ensure that participants could communicate verbally and share their experience of living in the nursing home. 8 female residents who cognitively intact and aged 65 or over were invited to participate in this study. Data collection was conducted from January 1 to 5 in 2008. The interviews were recorded and transcribed. Constant comparison method was used for data analysis. Levels of psychological needs were identified as four categories-satisfied needs; unmet needs; hidden needs; lack of expression of needs. While nursing home generally focuses on medical care provision, residents' psychosocial needs tend to be relatively overlooked. The satisfaction of psychosocial needs is significant in guaranteeing well-being in later life.
