Study of Engine Control/Performance Modeling for Helicopter Simulator (헬리콥터 시뮬레이터용 엔진 제어 및 성능 모델링 기법 연구)

  • Engine control/performance model for helicopter simulator if one of the most important models which affect flight performance and handling quality. It is typical to develop the model based on the raw data and models from the engine designers/manufacturers. The approaches in this study were to develop the basic model bated on the available resources and to tune and verify it based on the ground/flight test results. The maintenance manuals of TB3-117 which is installed in KA-327 were reviewed and the components to be simulated for the engine control model were categorized and modeled. Piece-wise linear modeling method was used for the engine performance model. The engine performance data in the engine maintenance manuals were incorporated into the engine steady state performance tablet, which were incorporated with the transfer functions for the dynamic performance. Engine control/performance model was compared and tuned with the round/flight test results. It was verified that the fidelity of the model was within the tolerances in FAA AC120-63.

  • The general ground control system has control and information display functions for the operation of a single unmanned aerial vehicle. Recently, the function of the single ground control system extends to the operation of multiple UAVs. As a result, operators have been exposed to more diverse tasks and are subject to task overload due to various factors during their mission. This study proposes an adaptive ground control system that reflects the operator's condition through the task overload measurement of multiple UAV operators. For this, the ground control software is developed to control multiple UAVs at the same time, and the simulator with six degree-of-freedom aircraft dynamics is constructed for realistic human-machine-interface experiments by the operators.

  • This paper assesses communication performance using a roaming simulator when roaming occurs between onboard and ground wireless communication devices for communication based train control system (CBTC). Generally, CBTC is defined as the system regularly collecting location and speed data from each train, transmitting distance information to a train, and optimizing train speed according to train performance. When a train is moving, roaming is also performed to continuously transmit and receive train control information between the ground controller and the train. To operate CBTC, packet loss rate should be less than 1%, roaming time less than 100ms during roaming. We developed a roaming simulator to check communication performance before installing ground and onboard equipments on actual wireless sections. The roaming simulator to be introduced in this paper is for roaming simulation before conducting CBTC field test, which is the project to develop Urban Rail Signaling System Standards, being conducted in KRRI. The simulation consists of one onboard wireless communication device and three ground wireless communication devices, and the roaming simulator estimate packet loss rate occurring during roaming process of the two devices. Therefore, if you use the roaming simulator before the field test, you can predict various problems to occur in actual environment and reduce time, cost and people necessary to resolve these problems.

  • 철도차량의 동력원은 화석연료를 사용하던 디젤차량에서 최근 고속전철 및 도시철도차량, 경량전철 등 전기를 주 동력원으로 사용되고 있다. 철도차량에 전기를 공급하는 시스템은 일반적으로 개활지 등 지상구간에 적용되고 있는 가공전차선 방식과 지하구간, 터널 등에 적용되고 있는 강체가선방식 그리고 경량전철 등에 채용되고 있는 제 3궤조방식이 있다. 최근에는 일반적으로 지하구간의 가선시스템에 적용되던 T-Bar방식의 강체가선 방식에서 탈피하여 고속주행이 가능한 R-Bar방식의 강체가선 방식에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 최근까지 지하구간의 터널구조에서 강체전차선로를 급전시스템으로 채택할 경우 열차의 최고속도는 국내의 경우 90km/h, 국외의 경우 160km/h를 넘지 못하는 실정이었다. 그러나 이를 극복한 제품이 개발되어 열차운행 최고속도를 200~250km/h까지 향상시킬 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 최근 설계속도 250km/h 급 R-bar방식 강체전차선로 인터페이스를 위한 이선현상 모의 시뮬레이터 개념 설계에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 집전성능과 관계가 있는 전기철도차량 이선현상 요인 및 영향 분석하였으며 강체전차선로 운행에 따른 이선 등으로 인한 영향을 고찰하기 위해 이선 현상 모의 시뮬레이터 개념 설계에 대한 연구를 수행하였다.

  • In this study, 6-DOF simulator using pneumatic cylinder driving apparatus was manufactured because a pneumatic cylinder driving apparatus is superior to electric driving motor and hydraulic actuator, which used in traditional 6-DOF simulator, in competitive price and acceleration performance, and, 6-DOF motion can be realized at a low price in case that relatively low load is imposed on the simulator. The possible range of pose control of the simulator was investigated by inverse kinematics, and, it was controlled by a linear controller derived from linear model of the simulator. The Experimental results show that the simulator follows given coordinate well.

  • 본 논문에서는 2.2kW급 이중여자유도발전기(DFIG)를 이용하여 계통에 발전전력을 연계하는 풍력 발전 시뮬레이터를 제작하고 무효전력 출력성능을 실증한다. DFIG는 회전자 정격이 고정자에 비해 20~40% 수준으로 회전자 여자 및 계통 연계를 위해 사용되는 전력용 소자의 정격이 낮아지는 장점이 있다. 가상의 계통연계기준을 설정하고 풍속에 따라 결정된 최대 유효출력을 고려하여 무효전력을 생산함으로서 진상/지상 역률 제어를 전 운전영역에서 실시할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • In this paper, a digital terrestrial TV reception antenna which can be applied to the house and vehicle windows was designed and investigated. The proposed antenna was configured for a monopole antenna structure with $230mm{\times}430mm{\times}3mm$, and the antenna parameters are calculated by using the OpenFDTD simulator. The proposed antenna can be used to the receiver for domestic digital broadcast in UHF.

  • 항법 장치의 특성을 이해하고 통합 필터를 설계하기 위한 기본 도구로 많이 활용되는 것이 시뮬레이션 도구이다. 이것은 실재 시스템을 구현할 때 부딪히는 각종 어려움으로부터 벗어나, 비교적 쉽게 성능분석을 할 수 있다는 장점 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 윈도우 기반의 전산 모의 소프트웨어를 개발하고, 이 프로그램을 이용하여 GPS와 INS 등의 센서를 이용한 복합 지상항법 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문은 지형을 고려한 전파항법신호원의 최적 배치에 대한 연구이다. 전파항법신호원을 지상에 배치 할 때 고도에 따른 신호원 간의 가시선 확보를 위해 배치위치를 일정 범위 내에서 최적의 위치를 찾도록 하는 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 그리고 다양한 배치에 따른 측위 정확도를 이론적인 연구결과를 이용하여 분석한 결과를 제시하였으며 전파항법신호원의 배치를 위한 시뮬레이터를 구현하였다.
