In general, most of the firms do not settle down in one place for their pursuit of profit. There are many reasons for the relocation of the firms; procurement of raw material, market area, transportation cost and housing cost. The aspect of national policy, firm relocation has been systemically promoted for the purpose of logistics system efficiency. Nowadays balanced regional development has been issue. Another aspect, many countries have struggled for the preoccupancy of new place because of its production cost saving and curtailment of expenditure. The aim of this article is qualitative and quantitative analysis of relocation influence factors of domestic goods firms in Korea. This article dynamically analyzed the relocation influence factors for domestic goods firms in Korea. For the analysis this article made use of complementary survey (2006) out of the 3rd national logistics survey (2005). The complementary survey conducted pre-business district, business period, relocation reason, etc. This article dynamically analyzed from the three aspects; observation of average residence time in one business district, relocation factors, influence of market area. Analysis shows that relocation of firm is very high rate and the reasons of relocation play compositeness role. The results of determinants of location, firms approach the established market area closely and the firm's relocation is influenced by market area.

최근 수도권에서는 지방공단 등으로 이전한 노후 공장 건축물을 철거한 자리에 '테크노타운', '벤처타운', 'IT타워', '디지털밸리', '테크노밸리' 등의 이름으로 아파트형 공장을 설립하고 있다. 아파트형 공장은 서울을 중심으로 수도권역에서 토지이용을 극대화가기 위한 집합 공장건물로서 중소기업체의 입지 해결 및 쾌적한 작업환경을 제공하고 도시근로자의 풍부한 노동력을 적극적으로 활용하고 있다. 또한 공동 부대시설을 확보하여 공간효율의 극대화와 종업원의 복리후생이 개선되는 등의 중소기업 지원효과를 거두고 있다. 고층화, 집단화, 공동화를 주요 특징으로 하는 아파트형 공장에서 부속시설의 화재보험요율 적용에 관하여 생각해보고자 한다.

As of July, 2009, Chungnam Province get DI (Direct Investment) of 2,502 corporations as the amount of 31 billion US dollars only for 3 years. Especially, Chungnam provincial governor make a excessive performance of 2.5 times comparing to the target number, 1,000 of inviting capital, that is public promise in the election. Now, the amount of inviting foreign capital is 1.2 billion dollars, at the end of this year it might be 1.4 billion dollars just in case of making a success on going negotiations. This outstanding performance comes from governor's leadership and aggressive strategies of well-trained subordinates. Chungnam Province has nation-wide multiple targets focused on interdisciplinary industries including strategic industries of display, auto-parts, steel, and oil-chemistry. Also, it has organic network system based on the very descriptive and accurate informations managing the task force team consisted of 35 competent members. In conclusion, the core competence of inviting foreign capital in a regional government is governor's strong leadership, activated organization consisted of specially well trained subordinates, and predominant differentiated strategies in details.

The purpose of this study was to look into the formation process and characteristics of local high-tech industrial complex with an example of the Ochang Scientific Industrial Complex and analyzed the characteristics by business type and size, transfer process of the companies in the Complex. For this purpose, statistical data of the companies were analyzed and a survey of them was conducted, and the following results were obtained. First, the Ochang Scientific Industrial Complex was created for agglomeration of IT industries in early days but now there are IT industries and BT industries mixed due to internal and external economic condition. Second, there are more small and medium companies than large companies in the Ochang Scientific Industrial Complex. These companies are in the stage of developing new products and marketing, and many of them were parts and materials developers of core technology or high innovation with venture identification. Third, high rates of the companies in the Ochang Scientific Industrial Complex came from the capital area and the Chungcheong area and the companies which moved in the Complex with their head quarters accounted for more than 70 percent. Fourth, the companies were classified into 5 types according to the type of product and the level of technical innovation.

This study aims to investigate the changing trend of the industrial complexes in the region of Liege, Belgium. The accessibility to the expressway and to the central city, the favorable atmosphere of the community, and the pleasant natural environment are the important factors in locating the industrial complexes in suburban areas. Since the 1970s the industrial complexes are developed generally on a medium or small scale coexisting with manufacturing firms and service business, but the business parks, the service parks and the science parks are developed in some strategic places. The industrial complexes are filled up with relocated firms rather than new established firms, and the industrial structure is diversified with the increase of service business. As manufacturing firms emigrated from the central city to suburban areas, the central city suffers from some serious problems such as the increased unemployment, the decreased population, the appearance of industrial ruined spaces and the worse of finance by the decreased tax sources. The local government tries to solve these problems by enacting some policies in order to revive the manufacturing firms in the central city, but with little avail.

DMZ는 살아있는 생물다양성의 보고로 지난 60여년동안 자연적으로 재생이 일어나고 환경적인 강제 보존 영향으로 높은 생태학적인 가치가 유지되고 있으며, 최근에는 남북교류에 대한 활발한 의지로 DMZ생태자원의 남북공동활용 방안에 대한 이슈가 급부상하고 있다. 이에 본 연구진은 3년전부터 DMZ에서 자생하는 식물에 대한 조사를 진행하여 총 200여종 이상의 자생식물의 표본과 추출물들을 보유하고 있으며, 이 추출물들을 활용 in vitro 와 in vivo 평가를 통해 비임상 평가에서 유효한 효과를 나타내는 후보물질들을 다수 찾아낼 수 있었다. 그 중 조팝나무(Spiraea prunifolia var. simpliciflora)는 쌍떡잎식물 장미과에 속하는 낙엽활엽관목으로 동북아시아 지역에 널리 분포되며 우리나라에서는 중부지방에 주로 서식한다고 알려져 있다. 예로부터 해열 및 소염, 신경통완화 치료등에 이용해왔다고 알려져 있으며 그 속에는 다양한 terpenoids, flavonoid 및 phenolic 화합물이 다량 함유되어 있다고 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 조팝나무 추출물을 이용하여 전구지방세포에서의 지방세포분화 억제 및 관련 유전자들의 활성을 확인한 후 고지방식이로 유도된 high-fat diet mouse model을 이용하여 체지방 감소 및 내장지방감소, 간 조직내의 지방량 감소등을 확인하였으며, 혈액분석을 통해 총콜레스테롤과 고중성지방등 동맥경화와 심혈관계 질환을 유도시킬수 있는 지표들에서 억제 활성도 확인하였다. 특히 내장 지방의 경우는 Micro-CT를 통해 정밀한 분석을 진행하였고, 체지방뿐만 아니라 전체 체중감소도 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 현재 실험을 통해 적출된 간 조직과 지방조직을 이용하여 항 비만 활성의 작용기전을 지속적으로 확인하고 있으며, 이 결과는 국제적인 연구저널에 보고되어 향후 체지방 감소 또는 항 비만 치료제로 개발되는 비임상 연구자료로 활용될 계획이다. 이미 조팝나무에 대한 연구결과는 특허로 출원이 완료되어 PCT출원까지 진행중에 있으며 개별인정형 건강기능식품 개발 기업에 기술이전이 될 예정이다. 또한 원활한 원료 수급을 위해 기초단체 소속 농업기술센터와 원료 재배 및 대량 수급에 관한 논의를 마친 상태로 접경지역 근처 농가소득 증대로도 이어지는 제품화 사례이기도 하다. 이는 접경지역에서 자생하는 원료의 활성을 과학적으로 검증하여 기업과의 연계를 통해 기초시군 단체의 농가 소득과도 연계한 우수한 제품개발 사례로 향후에도 이와 같은 연구성과가 지속적으로 도출되기를 기대해본다.

It becomes to be essential for firms to build up collaboration ecosystem with diverse entities and to be common for firms to absorb knowledge from external environment for their innovation. Companies try to transfer technological or knowledge asset to other firms through open innovation. The purpose of this research is to suggest the role of universities in University-Industry Collaborations besides research collaboration and we focus on the role of university to strengthen the regional business ecosystem network. For this research, we analyze a specific UIC(University Industry Collaboration) program called as "Business Clinic Day" which provides a consulting service for firms, especially, SMEs with a specific problem by a group of consultants including CEOs, professors, and heads of regional public or private service providers. Then we studied how the business network has changed after the program with network analysis. Also, we try to find out the main pattern of network structure extension of business ecosystem with interview. This study illustrates that changing types of network are formed between university and SMEs by clinic day. The result shows that not only new role as a network promoter, but also the partner as a technology-provider in the regional business ecosystem.

This study investigates the problems resulting from the Internet addiction policy management in South Korea and discusses a direction for rational policies by developing a system that facilitates interactive discussions among interest individuals and groups. The Korean society has experienced conflicts of interests among the government, the private sector and civil society in the policy. In addition, heightened competition among government ministries has led the Internet addiction policy management to be susceptible to how citizens respond to the claims of interested parties, thereby having the rationality of the policy management less count. To address these issues, this study investigates the current Internet addiction policy and explores the potential of new governance from a perspective of new institutionalism. This study suggests that the system of the Internet addiction policy should be restructured to transfer control over the policy from the central to local government and develop governance centered on the consensus of the government, the private sector, and civil society.

This study inquired the features of restructuring of shipbuilding industry and structure of community cooperation. The Sinhyeon-eup region has experienced rapid changes as a large shipyard location. Prior to Korea, Japan has developed the cooperation of company-community-residents relationships and the reorganization of location systems through division and accumulation system. The restructuring of shipbuilding industry in Korea have focused on the improvement of business environment. So they have not been efficiently settled in the accumulation and the cooperation structure between company and region. Japan established the organic cooperation structure of company and community before the large restructuring, while the shipbuilding industry city of our country commenced it with the crisis of community by the restructuring. In the Sinhyeon-eup region, The connecting ring among the production sections of a core company in center is established. However the structure of community cooperation is weak. The structure of community cooperation as local governance consist of company, pubic institution, local residents, and regional expert. This structure can be a rational channel in which it can not only strengthen the cohesion of the community, but also solve the present questions of the industrial city.
