In Korea, aside from their official administrative names, aliases of each province or some regions are widely used not only today but also during the Joseon period when the provincial system as local administrative system was firmly implemented. Of aliases, the most representative were Giho, Gwandong, Hoseo, Haeseo, Honam, Yaeongnam, Gwanseo, and Gwanbuk representing the eight provinces (precisely, Gyeonggi and seven provinces) of Chosun Dynasty, as well as Yeongdong and Yeongseo that represent the east and the west of Gangwon-do. These aliases are mostly based on topographical features and physiographical elements, and compared to the official names of eight provinces which depended solely on city names. Of aliases, some appeared in literature during 13-l4th centuries, and all provincial aliases seem to have been widely used after the late 15th century. Aliases continued to be used for 500 to over 700 years. Aliases of eight provinces, geographically, played not lesser role than their official names. Aliases of the eight provinces and regions during the Chosun Dynasty that have been handed down are considered as holding their places' cultural and historical backgrounds, and have become important enough to be accepted as a unit of geographical regional division. The origin and meaning of aliases of each province have been partially disclosed to the geographical circle and the general public. However, the details should be reviewed. First of all, Gwan in Gwanbuk, Gwanseo and Gwandong, as well as Yeong in Yeongnam, Yeongdong and Yeongseo, are each considered as meaning Sobaek Mountain Range and Taebaek Mountain Range with many borderline areas (borders) and military strategic hubs. Also, Ho in Honam, Hoseo, and Giho, are considered as based on the Geum River and Eurimji, and Haeseo are considered as meaning the west of the Gyeonggi Bay, and having relevancy with the first letters of Haeju and Seoha (Pungcheon).

우리나라 정치, 경제, 문화, 교통의 중심지인 수도 서울. 그 별칭에 걸맞게 서울에는 각종 공공기관을 비롯해 금융 언론 제조 통신 등의 대기업 본사가 소재하고 있다. 또 도시지하철, 전력 등 국가의 중추적인 역할을 담당하는 기관들도 다수 들어서 있는 상황이다. 이는 다시 말하면 서울에서 대형 인명피해가 발생할 경우 그 여파가 우리나라 국민 전체에까지 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 이렇게 중요한 곳이기 때문에 이 지역의 산업안전을 담당하고 있는 고용노동부 서울지방고용노동청은 더욱 각별한 의미를 갖고 있다. 정부의 정책을 현장에서 추진하는 최일선 기관인 동시에 수도 서울의 산업안전을 위해 맞춤형 사업을 수립 시행하는 등 그야말로 야전사령관의 역할을 맡고 있기 때문이다. 이와 같은 업무를 총괄 지휘하고 있는 임무송 서울지방고용노동청장을 만나 재해예방을 위한 정책 등에 대한 이야기를 나눠봤다.

이 토지 컨설팅 정보 시스템(Land Consulting Information System)은 토지에 건축, 형질변경 등 개발행위와 관련하여 구입토지의 선정에서부터 개발의사결정에 이르는 여러 가지 토지법률정보, 요구토지의 입지조건정보, 개발목적에 부합하는 토지의 분포정보, 매매나 세입 관련 부동산 정보 등 사람들의 다양한 요구조건과 의사결정 요소들을 컴퓨터 시스템을 통해 질의하고 검색, 분석함으로서 경제적이고 신속한 정보의 취득과 이를 통한 신뢰성 있는 개발과 구입의 의사결정정보를 제공하기 위한 목적에서 개발되었다. 시스템 기능의 인지도를 향상시키기 위해 'ALGOSA'라 별칭의 로고를 부여하였으며, 일반 개인은 물론 현존하는 전국의 수만 업체에 이르는 부동산사무소(공인 중개사), 측량설계사무소, 건축설계사무소, 전문토지개발회사 등 컨설팅 업체를 중심으로 시스템 보급의 필요성이 기대되며, 나아가 지방자치단체의 개발관련 인허가 부서에서도 이 시스템을 도입함으로서 개발행위 인허가 토지의 체계적 관리는 물론 불법 개발행위 단속과 객관적인 공시지가부여 기준제시를 위한 실제토지이용정보제공 등 폭 넓은 시스템 도입의 효과가 기대된다. 효과가 기대된다.

In this study about construction of land consulting information system the system is constructed for the support be rapidly and efficiently of decision making information. Supporting decision making is be sure need when build in land or change form and character of land, that kind of variety land law, conditions of buying land location, distribution of land answering to the development purpose and buying and selling or lease of land. So that land consulting information system can be query, search, identity and analysis for the decision making elements using the computer. The system an another name ALGOSA far the improved extent of legal in ability of system. Like this where spread of system is by company as well as private person, it's company kinds of real estate business, survey and civil designer's office, architectural designer's office and professional1y land development company of great many all over the country.
