The stone stupas of the Mireuk Temple Site and Jeongnim Temple Site were the beginning of Korean stone stupa and the unique ones stemming from the Baeje period. Therefore, the work of investigating the characteristics of these two stone stupas would give us a basis for understanding Korean stone stupas in a large scale and Baekje-style stone stupas in a narrow sense. As shown in some records, the excellent architectural skills of Baekje could be known by the fact that Abiji was invited to the building of Hwangryong Wooden stupa, one of the national undertakings of Shilla and the skills and styles related to stone stupas were thought to be disseminated in this process. However, it has not been very convincing that the stone stupas with Baekje styles were disconnected in an instant with the unification of Shilla, in terms that culture and art would inherited and developed. The current academic circle set a frame and defined all these types of stone stupas as Baekje-system stone stupas built in Goryeo period and put them in a uniformly chronological order. The popularization of Buddhism, support of regionally powerful clans and cultural revival were suggested as the factors of their appearance, but it seemed difficult to be assured that these led Baeje-style stone stupas to reappear in a moment by breaking the gap of about 300 years. Of course, it has not been active in Gyeongju area, but they have greatly influenced the stone stupas of Shilla; therefore, it would be possible to consider that they were developed but limited to certain areas. This study focused on the starting point of such development and investigated the formation of Baeje-style stone stupas through the stone stupas of the Mireuk Temple Site and Jeongnim Temple Site and their subsequent development through Wanggung-ri Stone Stupa.
Inlay (入絲), a poetic technique of digging grooves in the surface of crafts and decorating them with metal materials, was used throughout the royal daily routines, ceremonies and government officials of the Joseon Dynasty. The government-owned handicraft industry in the Joseon Dynasty was composed of craftsmen belonging to central and local government offices and was operated mainly by government-owned craftsmen. The inlay craftsman was transferred to the central government office and was in charge of inlay poetry for crafts. The current records of Korean inlay craftsmen are concentrated in the state-owned handicraft industry. In the state-owned handicraft industry, the government offices of inlay craftsmen can be divided into Kongjo (工造), Sangeuiwon (尙衣院), and the military. Here the election of a temporary government office for airspace is added. The government offices and military inlay craftsmen who use inlay crafts are assigned, and the inlay craftsmen are placed separately in the temporary office where the fine division of labor is developed. It can be made by utilizing craftsmen. The operation of these production systems was indispensable in pre-modern Korean society, where crafts had to be produced by hand. In this paper, we investigated the roles and job types of craftsmen in the state-owned handicraft industry during the Joseon Dynasty, focusing on inlay craftsmen. Although the details applied to the characteristics and materials of the field, labor supply and demand, etc. are different, Korea pursued crafts for various purposes through craftsmanship within the framework of the basic state-owned handicraft policy . The institutional equipment for implementation was almost common. We believe that adding and analyzing some literature records and relics will help us to study the crafts of the Joseon era in more detail.
The present study explored Korean parents' perceptions of and behavior toward game use among teenagers in Korea. A total of 600 Korean mothers of teenagers residing in Seoul and five other metropolitan areas participated in the survey. The survey was constructed based on five categories of variables, including the overall perception of games and game use, specific attitudes toward game use, cognitions about and attitudes toward game addiction, factors predicting parental monitoring of children's game use, and views and opinions about what needs to be done to promote healthy game cultures as well as to prevent problematic game use among teenagers in Korea. Results indicate that the respondents' overall perceptions of and attitudes toward games and game use are negative. In contrast, attitudes toward game use of the respondent's own child are contingent upon various comparison standards. Results also indicate that the respondents tend to overestimate the possibility that their own child is addicted to games, and their perceptions of game addiction are based on a narrow range of behavioral symptoms. Additional analyses indicate that parental monitoring of teenagers' game use can be predicted by the theoretical model driven from Ajzen(1991)'s theory of planned behavior. Finally, results also indicate that, in order to deal with the problems associated with teenagers' game use, proactive approaches to promote healthy game cultures as well as various initiatives to prevent problematic game use are necessary. Implications of the findings and future direction were discussed.

As society changes rapidly, the role and status of general education has produced many changes, and accordingly, it is forming a close relationship with various social and cultural environments around the school. Especially, the direction in which general education should proceed and the development of regional-linked general education models have been actively studied at a time when the relationship between local regions and universities is getting strong. In this study, we have provided significant policy implications related to the development and application of future university-local cooperation models by developing a subject of community service activities based learning (CSAL) to get closer to community service and by analyzing actual educational cases and applying them to real community service organizations. In addition, we closely collaborated with local volunteer organizations operated by this local government system to connect with local community service, and through this, we reviewed actual cooperative classes with a local university and local volunteer organizations for the class curriculum, and developed a model to activate the university-local educational ecosystem.

Ecotourism is widely known to be a sort of alternative tourism which seeks to keep balance between conservation and development. Successful ecotourism is not just dependent upon natural/cultural resources but also the consensus-building and collaboration among actors involved in the development of ecotourist attractions. In this sense, the establishment of good local governance can be crucial to achieve both conservation and development which are incompatible one another. Governance is carried out through self-organising, inter-organisational networks, which is emerging as new forms of collective decision-making at local level. Governance leads to the development of different relationships, not simply between public/ nonpublic agencies but between citizens and public/nonpublic agencies. I represent some key dimensions to construct good local governance in ecotourism: i) the creation of socio-institutional milieu that facilitate interactions among actors related to ecotourism; ii) actors involved in ecotourism taking responsibility to play an appropriate role in their own position. I argue that interactive relationships and consensus-building between different actors can be promoted by collective actions such as the sharing of information and resources, co-education and co-training, and seminars. It therefore implies that local good governance cannot be established without local social capital based on trust and cooperation between actors.
A local festival is to be an essential element for the revival of regional economy and marketing since the management concept have introduced in the local government. Each local government is trying to achieve a maximum of efficiency at short period of time. But, most festival are each similar and common. In Asancity, it was holding the 'Great Admiral Yisunsin Festival' every year in April. It has grown into a representative historical figure festival nationally, but can't get over the limitation of historical figure festival. For differentiation from other festivals, The Asancity developed a online game in collaboration with hoseo university game engineering. The e-sports competition with this game was held, as a result, Many youths whose are a neglected class of people on the festival came in the festival and this e-sports competition has become benchmark for many local governments.
Many old books concerning agriculture in ancient Korea were published during Yi dynasty, giving information on the agriculture of old and recent times, Present work describes the introduction of tobacco to Korea by reviewing old domestic or foreign agricultural literatures dealing with names of tobacco. Historically, tobacco had been called as many names such as Namcho, Yeoncho, Au, Seocho, Oecho, Hocho, Dampa Ko, Namkyongcho and Dampacke, and known to be introduced to Korea during early part of Kwanghwekun rule (year of 1618) from Japan. However, tobacco introduction from Japan to Korea seemed not be true by 2 historical facts. One is that at old time Japan had imported Chinese and Korean culture, and many crops during Nara and Heyan dynasties. The other is that there is no evidence of Japanese introduction found in Japan nowadays. The most plausible theory on tobacco introduction is that soldiers under General Youjung of Myong dynasty had brought tobacco to Korea during ImJinWaeRan(1592-1598). The above statements can be verified by old stories about Korean local tobacco varieties, and by letters Kim Dae Hyun(1553-1602) and General Youjoung.
