The suggestion could be made by developing Substantive theory in terms of marriage immigrant women's coping with domestic violence. The research question is; How marriage immigrant women cope with domestic violence. The research used a route theory approach, and 11 of marriage immigrant women who have ever suffered from domestic violence participated in it. The research question used semi-structured open questions. As a result of paradigm model analysis, "mental and physical devastation" is defined as a core phenomenon, and causative conditions are "wheel of pain" and "helpless victims of violence". Besides, context conditions are "period growth with solitariness", "irrational marriage" and "indifferent reality". "Mental and physical devastation", the core phenomenon act and interact with effect of mediatory conditions; which are "social help", "cultural difference" and "helplessness". Here the action and reaction appear as "adaptation", "resistance", "self-protection" and "self-reinforcement", and the outcomes show up as "maintaining reality", "decision making" and "beginning a new life". "Coping with mental and physical devastation and standing on one's own feet" could be introduced as a core category. Process of coping with domestic violence presents its levels as; shocks ${\rightarrow}$ endurance ${\rightarrow}$ regret ${\rightarrow}$ overcoming. There are three patterns of coping, which are; "preserving realities", "returning", and "groping for the future".

  • This study provides basic data for nursing intervention to increase self management of hemodialysis patients by identifying the relation among their illness perception, physiological indicators, and self management. The participants were 134 patients receiving hemodialysis at a general hospital in Seoul. Data were collected by using a structured questionnaire and medical records. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. The significant factors influencing self-management of hemodialysis patients have been identified with 8 variables. The first one is registration for kidney transplantation (β=-.20, p=.034). Among sub items of illness perception are consequence (β=-.20, p=.031), treatment control (β=.19, p=.040), and illness coherence (β=-.18, p=.049). In addition, among physiological indicators are hematocrit (β=.38, p<.001), hemoglobin (β=.29, p=.005), BUN (β=-.25, p=.010), and phosphorous (β=.22, p=.033). These variables explained 26.3% for self-management of hemodialysis patients. In order for hemodialysis patients to improve their self-management, a concrete nursing intervention improving the treatment control among illness perception as well as improving the understanding of physical indicators needs to be provided.

  • Stent thrombosis after successful drug-eluting stent(DES) implantation has been reported in around 1% of patients in clinical trials. However, the increased risk of ST associated with DES remains a matter of concern. From 1 June 2003 to 30 June 2013, we investigated clinical characteristics, in-hospital outcomes in 10,273 patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention in the Heart Center of CNUH. Overall incidence of ST was 1.30% (134 patients). The incidence of ST according to the stent generations and the timing of ST (n=total, early vs. late vs. very late) were 0.79% (n=81, 26 vs. 12 vs. 43) in first-generation, 0.38% (n=39, 21 vs. 9 vs. 9) in second-generation and 0.14% (n=14, 8 vs 3 vs. 3) in third-generation, (p=0.70). The mortality from ST was significantly higher in early ST group compared to the late and very late ST groups (18.2% vs. 8.3% vs. 3.6%, p=0.042). Overall incidence of ST after DES implantation was 1.30% (134 patients). The in-hospital mortality was significantly higher in early ST group compared to the late and very late ST groups.

  • South Korea needs reorganization of dispute resolution system due to the frequent occurrence of a case that trade secret or technique are leaked. First, the distributed various laws are established and enforced by enacting and enforcing individual laws. Therefore, the redundancy problems, the collision of individual laws, the decline in diversity, integrity, and connectivity are issues. An independent legal system is needed by Act on the Prevention and Protection of Technology Leakage. Thereby, The support system of technological protection that is sprayed in government departments such as the Small and Medium Business Administration, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Patent Office, the Fair Trade Commission, the Trade Committee, the National Police Agency, and the Spy Agency integrates and unifies institutionally, and it is necessary to advance a policy with functional division. Second, the Patent Tribunal, the Invention Promotion Act, the Industrial Property Right Dispute Mediation Committee by the patent law, the Industrial Technical Dispute Mediation Committee on the Industrial Technology Outflow Prevention and Protection Law and the Medium and Small Firm Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Committee on Small Business Technology Protection Support Law are installed. However, since it established the integrated law on the Act on the Prevention and Protection of Technology Leakage, it is desirable to set the merged operation of establishment on the Technical Dispute Mediation Committee under the Small and Medium Business Administration or the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of the Korean version of the IMR program on recovery, knowledge against mental illness, hope among inpatients with severe mental illness. 92 participants diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder were assigned to either an IMR group(n=51) or the control group(n=41) without randomization. Data collection had been conducted from June 2015 to December 2016. Mental Health Recovery Scale, Knowledge Scale, and Hope Scale was administered to participants before and after the intervention. Participants in the IMR program showed significant improvement in progress toward their recovery and knowledge about their mental illness compared with those receiving treatment as usual. However, changes in hope were not significant in both groups. This is the first evaluation of the effects of the Korean version of the IMR program. Our findings support potential benefits of implementing the Korean version of the IMR program.

  • This study set out to investigate the burden and needs of family members of ICU(Intensive Care Unit) patients facing a crisis situation of a family member being hospitalized in ICU and check their connections. Data were collected from May to October 2013. The subjects include 93 main family caregivers of patients hospitalized in ICU at four general hospitals in the B area for three days or longer. Collected data were put to t-test, ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis with the SPSS WIN 20.0 program. As a result, the family members of ICU patients scored mean 3.56 points(out of five) on burden and mean 3.58 points(out of four) on needs, recording a moderate or higher level in both the areas. There was significant difference(F=3.463, p=.036) in burden according to the general characteristics with the number of days in the hospital. There was significant positive correlation(r=.332, p<.001) between their burden and needs. Those findings indicate that an active nursing intervention to reduce the burden of the families of ICU patients in a crisis situation and check their needs will be able to mitigate the family crisis and further have positive influences on the recovery of ICU patients.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate targets to use measurement tools to communicate developed in Korea and factors consisting of questions, to examine how measurement tools to communicate applied for AAC subjects were. In the case of measuring language and communication skills targeting people with disabilities, aphasia was out of common, in the case of applying to different types of failures, it showed rare. While factors consisting of questions on measurement tools to communicate had many factors on communication limitations and many factors on impairments in body functions that limit communication, they didn't have a lot of factors on restrictions in participation caused by communication limitations and lots of environmental factors that serve as barriers or facilitators for communication. AAC intervention was applied in the order of physical disabilities, autistic disorder, mental retardation, developmental disabilities, communication disorders, although "PPVT-R", "REVT" were widely used as measurement tools to communicate used in AAC intervention experiment, there were much more cases of relying on observation than standardized tools. Based on the results, we discussed that the need of evaluating to provide ACC application and individualized education(IEP)'s grounds and the research on evaluation criteria and measurement questions should be tried.
